ITT: We Have All Become Pokémon

*Morbitesse is startled when Andy mentions her accent's dissonance, and the sudden appearance of F and the others does not help with this.*

"Vait, did I... I could haf svorn that I had broadcasted that exclusifely to... Urgh, damnation..."

*Morbitesse places her hand on her face as she sighs with frustration. In moments, however, her composure is renewed and she speaks to the party again, this time in the British accent she had used earlier in the day.*

"Well, I suppose the secret is out. Bugger on me for slipping up like that, I suppose. But I digress, the accent I had used these past few days was indeed farcical. I speak to all outsiders like that, just a way of making myself sound more imposing."

*Morbitesse chuckles a little bit, and for a brief second she even cracks a smile.*

"But here you all are, hearing my natural voice. Do promise that you'll speak of none of this to anyone not native to Orichalcum. I have a reputation to uphold, after all."

"Right. You have my word, Frau."

"Now then, I'll answer all your questions one at a time. First off, the Octillery. Oz, correct?"

*Morbitesse stands and walks over to the group, placing her hand on Oz's head much like she did mine.*

"Hope you don't mind if I have a look around."

*Morbitesse closes her eyes and goes silent for a few seconds. She then removes her hand from Oz's head and Takes a step back, her expression unchanging.

"I don't see any connection with the forest's guardian, though from what I've seen of your dreams, there's... well, t'would appear that some sort of outside force, or perhaps a combination of forces, wishes to warn you. From what little I can decipher, this isn't a proper premonition, but you may soon find yourself faced with that which you've seen in these dreams. I say this to each and every one of you, not Oz alone: tread carefully. Now then, next up was Cyk, yes? Getting a little greedy now, asking more than one question, are we?"

*Morbitesse turns her gaze to Cyk, and looks into their eyes.*

"Ah, but I kid, and now is not a time where you would appreciate even the smallest of jests, is it? You say have blood on your hands? And that you fear the powers you have in your new form? Seems you struggle with these circumstances more than one would assume initially. As I said with young PJ, my advice is to show restraint. Ordinarily, battles here are settled when one side is too exhausted to continue, though if one overdoes it, the consequences can be fatal, as they were for your adversary in this instance. Take caution and observe your surroundings to ensure that this never occurs again, lest you truly wish to take the life of another again."

*Morbitesse cocks her head suddenly to Goobert, locking eyes with him.*

"That goes for you as well. It is important for one to know when to limit oneself. Now then, with that out of the way..."

*Morbitesse breaks eye contact with Goobert and walks over to Mandy and F, looking down first at the former.*

"Mandy, was it? I hope you aren't too bothered if I gaze into your mind as well."

*Morbitesse kneels down and looks deeply into Mandy's eyes, a faint blue glow emitting from them as she peers into Mandy's memories. Once she is finished, she sighs as she gets to her feet.*

"Now now, You've nothing to get so worked up about, little one. True, it was a right bit rude of you to ambush poor sods in the forest with no rhyme or reason, but you didn't hurt them too badly. They'll be right as rain soon enough, dear. Though I do implore you not to go running around picking fights with random passersby again. As for your sister's inquiry..."

*Morbitesse then addresses F.*

"F, yes? Espurr do not need much to evolve, just general experience in life and fighting and the like. Over time, you'll naturally reach the point where you can evolve. Just, well, hang in there and you'll reach that point."

*Upon finishing her conversation with the two siblings, Moribtesse at last directs her attention to Jani.*

"I do apologize for getting around to you last. It's almost funny to me how you seem to have the exact opposite problem that your friends do. Nonetheless, you've nothing to fear. Though you may now lack control of your elemental type which is Ground, not 'Earth', it's a simple matter of learning your capabilities and limitations over time. You can follow the advice I gave to your friend F and you won't be a liability, trust me."

*Morbitesse takes a step back and addresses the group as a whole.*

"Okay, is that everything? Because I'd like to turn in early tonight if you all don't mind."

Andy groaned. "It was obvious. Your German's very shaky. Could use a lot of work."

"Thank you, Madam".

Cyk bows respectfully.

(I nod to the Frau. It shouldn't be too hard to limit the power of my attacks, should it?)

(Morning, I awake to discover that something seems off.)

What happened to my arms? Why are they green, and look like swords? More importantly, what happened to me as a whole? Where am I?

-checks nearby mirror-

Wait... I'm a Gallade. I think I can make do with this.

Hey guys, wait up! I need to understand what I am now!

I finally wake up (for real this time). I have no idea where I am, but I'm in a room. Instead of getting accustomed to my surroundings, I just stumble my way to an exit and find myself outside. It's morning. How long have I been out? Where am I? And… "WHERE THE HELL DID EVERYONE GO?!"

Having turned in for the night while everyone else went to talk with Morbitesse, Mila gets up and goes downstairs when she hears Nyquil's confusion. She goes to pick up some berries from the pile for breakfast, and then notices the Cyndaquil outside. Swallowing down the berry she began to eat quickly, she tries to get his attention.

"Hey, where are you going? We're back at the manor! I don't think many people are awake yet, though. Want some food?"

Mila holds out a berry as an offering.

I stumble forth to figure out where I am when I see something move in the distance.

"Hey where am I? Anyone?"

I continue to make my way towards the site of the movement.

I hesitantly take the berry and mutter "Thanks…" I take a bite and stare at the ground for a bit. "So, uh… Sorry about whenever I was last conscious."

Thank you, Great Seer. I will strive to build off what I know and have more faith in myself and my companions. *Jani bows as much as a Diglett can and heads downstairs toward Mila and the others, and hits the hay. Then morning came...*

*Jani wakes up, having slept horribly indoors* Literally not my element, I need to get outside. *she wanders outside, notices the Gallade by a strange mirror that some Orichalcan must have tossed out, and shouts* HEY GUYS, I think Cyk is a man now.

Welcome to the newcomer, Jani just said that because Cyk's a Gardevoir ;)

Mila finishes off another berry, before noticing some pokemon off outside the town.

"Is that... ?"

I notice a house, no, it looks like a manor. I see a few pokemon out front.

"Hey, what is going on here?"

I take another bite and mumble "Oh, great. More people."

Mila looks over at Jani and the Gallade, before walking outside and waving to them.

"I don't think that's Cyk, most of 'em are still asleep. Are you a new one here? Looks like we've got some more explaining to do. First, why don't you get inside and get something to eat."

I see a Cyndaquil eating a berry.

"He actually doesn't seem too happy to see somebody else here...maybe I can try to get some answers from him. Hey, what is this house about?"

I then notice a Raichu, who wants me to come inside. I follow, wearily.

Hmmph...grr...whazza goin' on...? (I mumble, still half-asleep. Then I see the Gallade outside. I promptly wake up all the way.)

Oh, hi. Are you someone like us?

*Jani sizes over the Gallade, and then blurts out* You're another ex-human like us, I take it. Looks like you won the lottery...you still look more or less human. Aside from all the pastels and green. ...and the Popeye arms

*then the Diglett goes into exposition mode* We all just got up ourselves, some of us are still sleeping. This is the Great Seer Frau's manor, and we're staying just a little longer before we decide where to go.

Also, I'm Jani. If you're not Cyk, who are you?

"My name is Marlon", I motion to the nearby Diglett, looking briefly at my surroundings.

A Dartix waddles outside from in the house.

"Ah", he says, "I see we have yet another new arrival."

He bows slightly and introduces himself, "I am Noriaki. Nice to meet you."

Cyk holds out their hand, hoping the Gallade would shake it.

I reach my arm out to Cyk.

"Nice to meet you, name's Marlon."

I also turn towards Noriaki:

"Nice to meet you as well."

*Jani looks in awe at Cyk (Gardevoir) and Marlon (Gallade) as they shake hands* Wow, it's like they're siblings...

Are you sure you two aren't related?

"I didn't know him. We're similar species, but still."

"We're of similar lineage, but I wasn't aware of his existence until now."
