(Cyrus takes another Revival Herb from nearby and presses it to James's face.)

Are you sure that'll work, Cyrus? (Bea asks.)

"Ehhhhhhh..." [I think for a moment.] "Actually...I don't know if they'd want a repeat visit from you guys after what y'told me about...not that ya did anything, just...y'know, they're kinda persnickety like that."

[I look over towards the entrance to the restaurant. Oh, it's Finley and Mila! Right on cue from Marlon...wait, shit, they probably wouldn't recognize me. Actually...well, I'd say they could tell from my shawl, but apparently, from Niles seeing me as...from him seeing my yesterday in the pizza place after that little scuffle, it must be quite unmemorable...]

I seriously hope that works... *Sarah waits expectantly, though she first adds* ...last time I had to use some berry mix on his core after he cooled down — and I only have two left.

The revival herb seems to just disappear against James's face and in that moment the golett wakes right back up

"Uuuuuhh... Maybe I should just take a break..." He groans.

"Yeah... you did."

As they enter the restaurant, Mila notices the rest of the group and walks over, waving to get their attention. As she does so, however, she realizes that she'll have to explain what's happened and shrinks slightly, feeling exhausted already from the day's events. After she finds a place with an open chair next to her for Finley, she sits down and lays her paws on the table and rests her head in between her paws.

Marlon > Eliot

They've got some heir conference happening sometime later, I just don't know-

(I'm cut off by Fila entering for real. Okay, something definitely did happen if Mila is out of breath.. I look again to them and ask:)

"Niles was... attacked" Finley says, trying to keep it brief. "But he's okay now! He's all safe in the hospital!"

Speaking of...

"I'll be honest. You got very lucky. All you need is some rest and you'l be perfectly fine. Dunno what would have happened if you were all alone..." The Machoke says, hovering over the Quilava. "You should be out by the end of the day. Maybe even sooner, if you're lucky."

Dieter looks a bit surprised.

"He was attacked? What happened?"

Andy enters the resturaunt as well. Apparently, Dieter, there was yet another killer, and he's recently taken arms against Nyquil.

Mullion's

"Oh... Dang..."

"Still, good thing he's safe."

"She, Andy. That voice I heard was undeniably female." She sits down. "He really was lucky though, not a single scratch on him. Like the killer was using water or something..."

Mulley's

Dang, haven't we been dealin' with enough serial killas already? (Marsha groans.)

Oh, n-n-nice! We didn't have to ussssse any of those berry mixes, no! (Cyrus says as James wakes up. Then to James specifically, Cyrus adds:) You may need a break, yes. Buuuuut you learned Shadow Punch, and that was g-g-g-great, yes! You're doing veeeeery well! Keep up the good w-w-work, okay?

(Bea gets James back to his feet.) Well done, sugar!

Marlon > Table Group

Seriously? Did you guys see the killer herself, or did she get away before you could see her?

(I ask the group, wrapping an arm around Marsha's shoulder.)

"All I know is that she was a Basculin. I spotted a sort of torn fin while she was running away too. I don't know about you, but I felt like it was that Delcatty all over again..." She tells all of them, trying to describe what she saw.

Mullion's

"Ngh... trying to drown him or something? Glad he's okay..."

"And... wait, do I want to know about the Delcatty?"

"Well," Finley moves her fur aside, showing the scar he left her in an attack that was previously hidden away. "I got this when he slashed me open in an encounter. He seems more... stoic, I guess I can say, than her. But they're both as disgusting as they come."

[I just sit there, completely dumbfounded. We were attacked by another killer...and I was busy lollygagging on the ship. I still remember how upset she was with me yesterday...I feel that regret surge through me as I half-heartedly hide my face. It feels stupid to say it, but I still wish I could've been there to do something.]

Mullion's

"Well..." Dieter responds, unsure what else to say.

Mulley's

Least it looks like dat scar's healin' up pretty well. (Marsha comments to Finley.) But dang...dat's messed up. Makes me embarrassed ta share a typin' with dem...least the Fireball's okay, though.

(Marsha sees her double trying to hide his face.) You okay, Sparky?

Oh man..

(Upon seeing the scars Finley still has, I think back to the two incidents in Silversand with the Delcatty and how Finley almost died...and how I indirectly caused it, and that near breakdown I had in the hospital room. I shake this off, and turn to the group again:)

"That's good..." I say, taking a bite out of another berry. I'm mentally dwelling on the situation while chewing. (... If Finley wasn't there...) That crazy fish bitch's face popped up in my head. (Too many things I haven't done yet...) Finley's face. Mila's. Nori. I feel like I owe them. (Too much left unsaid...) Dana. (It's true that I'm not exactly content with my life, but there's still too much I have to do. But for now...) I continue eating the second berry. (All I can do is wait. It's my fault for getting into that mess, so now I have to deal with it... At least these berries are good.) I temporarily stop thinking to myself and try to lighten up the mood. "Id be pretty burring to shtay heur fur murr thn eh nite." I swallow. "Got errands to run, you know?"

So, guess we're both resting up for a few, huh? *Sarah says, adding* I would like to learn more skills, but I don't think the hour's up next... *while contemplating if and when to fess up to James, what's going on in her head is as so*

*realizing the need for discretion, there being two world-native instructors present and all, Sarah simply blurts out to James...something that clearly no one could mistake in any context* So uh...how about that last election, huh? At least since we're here, we pretty insulated the neverending aftermath eh?

They're aware of the Delcatty simply because of how burnt into Jani's memory he was, though Tilly opts to say* I believe this to be the same killer that Grigori, Noriaki, Dana and I were seeking clues for in Gleamscape the other day. Noriaki happened to find a torn tail fin on the scene...

(She did say she wanted to talk about something, but I haven't heard about any election goooooooooooooooohhhhh MY GAAAAWWWWD!)

I raise a finger about to response but I cover my mouth so I don't scream, wait I don't have a mouth! I just gotta not scream! At least my face is rock so I don't have eny emotion to show. I freeze up just to compose myself before talking.

"Yeah, wasn't what I expected at all... You wanna continue this elsewhere ?" I say pointing a thumb to the door.
