I wave back to PJ, quickly turning my head down and sighing

"Missed a bunch? Yeah, I always seem to miss a bunch. Guess I can hope nothing too bad happened this time."

[If nothing bad has happened yet well... I'm sure it will. Okay well, hope for the best, hope for the best. Don't be a downer, ugh.]

Aye... (Rich says to Eliot. He rests his head on his hand as he thinks about getting rid of his curse for good.)

Well...aside from everythin' we knew about on da ride over here, nothin' really of consequence happened. (Marsha says, shrugging.) Unless I'm forgettin' somethin'...I bet I am. It's been a long day...

Noriaki simply stares at his drink, watching the ripples at the surface. He has been silent to the rest of the table group so far.

It's been quite a long time since those days... But why can't I stop thinking back to it? I was doing so well, what suddenly has it tormenting my mind once again? he thought to himself.

"There's a dojo here?" I ask

Mila hears Sarah planning to leave for the dojo, and turns to Finley, trying to gauge her current emotions. What's just happened has probably pushed the issue of what she's brought up earlier out of Finley's mind, but Mila had no way of being certain. What she could know, though, was that she was getting hungry and the combination of hunger, fatigue, and mild sickness was not doing her any favors. So, despite looking like she'd probably just gotten out of bed, Mila shuffles over to Finley and tries to place a paw on her shoulder.

"Should we go find something to eat, Fin?"

Its already been a pretty long day...and it's only early afternoon.

(I say, leaning against Marsha. The thought of everyone else still being missing weighs on my mind...where are they?)

(I recognize that Sandy probably sat through this whole thing without saying much of anything so I look over to her and ask:)

How are you holding up?

Brooks > Hospital Group

Aye...just a few doors down from Mullion's. I'll take ye lads and lasses there if ye would like.

(He tells them.)

PJ: "Afternoon? Damn, I really missed a lot, huh? Never slept for longer than 12 hours before..."

*Now I find myself wondering how I could be out like a light — er, no pun intended — for so long. My latest nightmare was distinctly longer than I recall other nightmares being... maybe there's a connection? Not that I'd know what kind of connection there'd be, though...*

[Afternoon?! Jesus, I was on that boat for that long? It didn't feel super long...I could've gotten more sleep if that was the case.]

"So," [I say to Marlon, scratching my head,] "what kinda...information'd we get from the...those Slaking guys?"

Hospital

*Sarah tells Brooks* That would be great... *before turning to James to ask* Feeling up for it? The bigger towns tend to have way more instructors, so you could totally find one more tailored to your skills, y'know?

Well, we tried ta get some, but dis whacko Vibrava who thought he could take da place 'a King Raleigh came in and threw a wrench inta everythin'. I think dat guy went outta dere a better person, but da most da king really told us was how ta get ta dis restaurant. Unless I'm forgettin' somethin'...

(Marsha looks to Marlon and the others.) Am I?

"Alright, beats waiting and wondering how this whole prince selection thing is gonna happen." I say to Sarah. "Lead the way."

(I place my arm blades on the table and clasp my hands together as I begin to explain:)

See, the King himself is pretty far gone at this point. The guards have had to wrap him in chains to keep him under control. Because of all of that, we've had to find these heirs, and like Marsha did just say, that Vibrava showed up and basically cut our meeting short.

Brooks > Sarah, James, Hospital

Aye, we'll be off then.

(Brooks waddles his way to the door, but not before waiting for Sarah and James to accompany him.)

"I've been better. I'm still totally lost but at least I'm starting to get a handle on things."

She pauses.

"Sorry, I've kinda been lost in thought, haven't I?"

Hey, you're fine, Sandy. (Marsha says to Sandy.) Hey, just between you 'n me, ya should consider yaself lucky dat yas didn't end up gettin' mixed up in dat mess with the cursed Tyranitar over dere like da rest 'a us did.

Mullion's

PJ: "Right, right, so the monarch's a lost cause and now we've gotta play kingmaker? And I assume we all know jack squat about where we should start with this... Golly gee, what a ride this is gonna be. ...Not to change the topic so suddenly, but can I see the menu? I still need breakfast."

*I then notice the Sandile seated with our group.*

PJ: "Also, uh... did we get a new crew member today?"

"Yeah, let's... go find the others. They should be at that restaurant, right?" Finley says, trying to stay stoic.

"Huh. ...so we're not gonna be finding the vector? Like...I dunno, that kinda seems like it'd be priority numero uno in this..."

[It's at this point that I finally notice a Sandile sitting at our table as Marsha leans over to talk to her. From what she said earlier...I wonder...]

"Uhh, heya..." [Sandy. They said her name was Sandy. Reminds me of Bel...] "Heya, Sandy. The name's Eliot, uhh, like the poet...I'm not usually like this, I'm a, a Smeargle normally, and a guy, too. Y-you'll see regular old me after, uhh...I guess after we're done eating." [Speaking of which, I get back to that. I also slide a couple of pieces of pizza over to Light and PJ, they're gonna need to eat, too.]

Mullion's

The Garbodor owner passes by PJ after hearing the request, gives him a menu. It offers various pies, pizza, sandwiches, pancakes, hash browns, and such things.

Mullion's

PJ: "Ooh, thanks."

*I take one of the slices and immediately dig into it. Not exactly a breakfast food, but hey, who am I to refuse free pizza? Especially if El's the one offering it. An unpleasant moment from my latest dream comes to mind for a brief moment, but I dismiss it as best as I can.*

PJ: "Dish ish good." *I swallow.* "Anyway, uh... I mean, we're probably gonna find the Vector sooner or later. Even if we're not outright looking for them, I get the feeling we'll run into them somewhere."

*I look over the menu I was just given. The options are all rather tempting, though the pizza should be enough for me. I slide it over to Light and take another bite of my pizza slice.*

Wouldn't surprise me if this guy turned out to be the vector just like King Merq, honestly.

(I say. I confirm the new Sandile group member:)

Yeah, we came across her in the forest while we were coming up here.

Brooks > Hospital

Aye, I seen 'em there, yeah.

(He tells Finley.)

*Sarah follows Brooks, and tells James* Truth be told, I'm not all that secure in my skills either. That ditto lady totally made a fool out of me yesterday...but that was before you showed up, wasn't it?

"Practice is always good. And for a world where fighting is close to breathing we will need all we can get." I say.

En Route to Dojo

Amen to that. *Sarah says to James, then she spots a vendor cart run by a Herdier*

Berry dogs, get yer berry dogs here. 200 each or two for 300. Get yer berry dogs here... *he calls out repeatedly. Sarah goes up to him and asks* Yeah, I'll take two — one Passho and one Rawst please?

That'll be 300, miss. *he says, and Sarah digs into her packside change and pulls out that amount* Here you go miss... *the Herdier passes them both to Sarah, then resumes his chanting* Berry dogs, 200 each or...

*Sarah wastes no time to munch on the Passho one first* Oh mon, I haven't eaten in what...18 hours? This is good...

(Looks like it's yummy.) I thought to myself as I watch her eat it, but I look forward not wanting to make this a miserable lunch for her.

(She might just get sad and try to offer the other one to me.)
