I caved to the new Percy unit and spent ten 10 rolls of what I saved up. As usual Percy hates me.

I'll just spend the rest of my crystals since my plan to spark him by the end of the year has gone bust.

Nice. I did few rolls for the hell of it and got nothing much. Really not too beat up over it though since he will be back eventually. Think I'll spend some of my spark fund here and there to help curb the urge to roll.

Percy is permanent so Im saving for when tbe other Grand Gala. Im criminally lacking in the other half of Grands like Lucio and his sister.

Just woke up and reading the new announcements

It's kinda weird there's no Scarlet/Golden/Black Knight fight for Pride of the Ascendant now that they're throwing in the Violet Knight.

Oh, the main story mass skip feature is going to be a massive change for the better especially since locking the Beelzebub content behind several hours of reading is painful for fans of primarily WMTSB

Light DLF is FINALLY getting an uncap? Oho am I happy since she was one of my first SSR units. Also, I'm a bit confused about the new skip feature. Is it that the main quests after the first arc disables skipping the story cutscenes? Or does it mean something else?

From the news, it seems like they'll let players just skip through massive chunks of the main story by jumping to a selected chapter, and any uncleared quests will reward their first clear rewards as if you'd played them regularly

Just gotta remember, summer characters are gonna be back in a few months. Also, if you wait until Halloween rolls around again, you'll have new Halloween characters to aim for too :)

I'm hearing a lot of good things about Anthuria after the rebalance. I've used her for a bit for Ro TB,and she seems much better now. Real glad I pulled her not too long ago.

Well (Beelzebub quest spoilers) Shalem and Lucio blew up Pandemonium when Bubs tried to do the grand finale redux so uhhhh there might be a pretty big hurdle to deal with

Unless it's a flashback event which okay sure I guess

Honestly, at this point the storylines are so convoluted and hidden behind gacha characters' Fates that I have no idea what is or isn't fair game for a new event.

That reminds me of a thread on the Granblue subreddit a few days ago that actually talked about how many plot points there are lying around

My point is that while I know addressing Olivia's story during Paradise Lost or 000 would probably have ended up bloating the events a bit more, at least they would clarify where she stands. As it is, Shalem is a massive part of the world's setting and I'll likely never know what's up with her.

I'd say the Beelzebub free quest at least does explain like a lot, but that runs back into the problem of "Cygames is really fucking bad at managing their main story and what they decide to gate behind it"

Also doesn't help that there is literally a thousand things to do. I started playing again about three months ago (though I did barely anything in April since I played through Persona 5R and FFVII), and not only am I still in the first main story arc, I've barely touched free quests, the Grand Blues Channel quests, side stories, and I still have like 19 pages of fate episodes. The impenetrability of the story as it is now was one of the reasons why I dropped it last year since I sold my soul to FGO, though that isn't an issue anymore since I barely play FGO anymore.

It does help that certain events and fate episodes do brief introductions of you haven't recruited a character yet, but that inadvertently points to the other problem of the game having a very jumbled and weird continuity.

I've also heard that a future update would allow us to immediately jump through the latest story chapters and provide a summary of what happened? CMIIW.

Because of the large gap in the main story updates, I kinda forgot a lot of details after that time Loki forms his crew.

The fandom seemed to joke at this game's turtle pace of main story content from the 3rd arc (I recall the 2nd arc had a much faster and better pace), glad that they're trying to do something about it now at least.

Xeno Ifrit Showdown's started and it seems like the Xeno line of summons will be 80% (120% at FLB) at max boost to elemental attack based on same-element weapon grid and elemental attack up (maybe for the latter, it's totally possible calls will vary).

Aura's fine, call is pretty lame and Fire's insanely overcrowded with good summons to use, so pass.

He does seem to be designed so people can reach the higher tiers easier until they get proper Gacha summons and their auras.

Xeno Ifrit's main issue is that his aura competition is Shiva. Even Agni players prefer taking Shiva over another Agni if they don't need the extra aura for HP or damage
