INB4 Dheginsea is the Mythic Hero.
A cruel, sick joke is still a joke, and sometimes all you can do is laugh. What If? Soren Dragon Laguz.
Because Life finds a way.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession. That A skill Tibarn sounds ridiculously good. But I guess it's ok for him to have it.
Why would that be a bad thing?

My other bet's on Yune, not quite a Laguz, but she does have a Bird and Humanoid form, and would fit the assumption of Mythic Heroes being divine.

I wasn't complaining. Itd be a nice use because sometimes kids are born with genes carried over from an ancestor from a specific parent over the other. Mutations in nature and the like.

Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Dheginsea would be a fitting mythic hero. Dark affinity, not quite godlike but extremely powerful.
You shouldn't try to apologize to likes of me, I'm just assumed the worst out of everyone

The game could use more What If? (and Cipher) alt banners that don't have the constraints of holiday themeing (or well Fallen Heroes). Like Adrift or the CYL banners.
Tibarn's skill is super dumb, but honestly doesn't seem that good? The base Sturdy Blow 2 is basically awful, and while Sturdy Impact is a strict upgrade to DB 3, anyone who actually wants DB 3 is trying to cram as much Atk in as possible and would probably prefer DB 4 from Celica.
The defense doesn't even matter unless you expect to be counterattacked (by a physical attack), and the enemy not being able to follow-up either means you're super slow (which Tibarn probably is given the guaranteed follow-up on his weapon) or just as a counter to QR. Which, well, also only matters if you're too weak to ORKO.
I mean just at face value it's a ridiculous amount of stat on a single skill, but the actual stats it gives makes it pretty situational, imo. I can't imagine more than half a dozen units having the stats to actually want that.

Nope, you just said the taboo word. In fact I wouldn't even surprise if they just abandon the CYL just because of that.

Sephiran would be an good fit too. Like he somehow became The Ageless snd has far' outlived Heron lifespans. Even Dheginsea got older with time. Sephiran lives on for an afditional 1200 years likes it nothing and hasn't aged a day.

Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Seeing BK's master would be nice regardless.
So what are the odds that the beast units have the same function like they did in the Tellius Duology? Otherwise I'm not seeing why they shouldn't be transformed 24/7
I can already see it, Sturdy Impact Rein + Wings Dancer. What you lose in attack you make up with support.
Your preferences are not everyone else's preferences.I'm pretty sure the beast transformation mechanic is contained entirely in their weapons. IE: the description is it. No more and no less.
And obviously you want to them to be transformed 24/7, but basically that's only guaranteed on a full beast team. The idea is that they don't play nice with beorcs.
Edited by Clarste on Jan 8th 2019 at 8:01:10 AM
Except they do play well with Manaketes.
...Oh god, they're going to make dragon emblem infinitely worse.
Sturdy Impact wouldn't change that much for Rein. He'd be better off with DB 4. The extra 10 def doesn't do much for him, and the lack of a followup for the enemy doesn't matter if they're already dead.
You would probably need to run tactics instead of Hone X for laguz/dragon emblem.

Yeah, Sturdy Impact only matters for the kind of character who wouldn't be using DB in the first place, imo.
Also, it's been pointed out to me that apparently all of their Prf weapons only have 14 base Mt, so the +2 Atk they get for transformation is actually just removing a penalty they normally have, relative to other melee.

Looks like Azura winning a VG is another New Year's tradition.
Your preferences are not everyone else's preferences.Reyson looks so bad compared to the other units but he's still a flying dancer, so it does feel entirely possible they won't demote him. I can see them reasoning that Naesala being a GHB unit is them compensating for there being no demotes.
Guess I'm gonna try to pull Tibarn since Jill and Haar aren't likely to show up anytime soon.

Honestly I don't like the beast/dragon synergy built into the weapon type. It feels like that just limits teambuilding possibilities without much benefit. Like that sort of thing can't even be replaced by Tactics skills.
Even better? Naesala will be flier but won't have the support role offered by the Herons.
Curious about his skills though...

A cruel, sick joke is still a joke, and sometimes all you can do is laugh.Clearly this means future Beorc units with built in skills that let Beasts transform next to thrm.
Ready for Chaos Mad Ike from the Cipher!
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Besides, Tiki and her successors are too adorable to hate. On this, the varied peoples of the worlds are united.
About as deep as Null-Follow Up, as in, not deep at all unless it becomes a Seal.
