Huh, was expecting Garon to be standard axe infantry.

Perhaps they're saving that for Gooron.

Legendary Xander in December is getting Bölverk.

Nice, our first (permanent) free dragon and our first non-Tiki red dragon.

Yeah, I totally expect Xander or Camilla to get Bolverk now. A shame really.

Ophelia's a missle, ya'll.

33 neutral Spd still means Ophelia can hit 36 with boon. 39 with Fury. That does mean she won't be able to take an Atk boon to take advantage of that 37 neutral (which would push her to either 40 or 41 with boon).

Nina is super sonic with somewhat mediocre Atk. I guess Shining Bow might make up for that, but ehhh.

Flora is completely what her kit telegraphed her stat line to be. 38 Def/Res against dragons is going to be pretty tanky, though I'm still skeptical of her getting through their defenses. She's basically going to need Glacies to kill anything.

And, as I predicted, Silas is blue Xander without a DC weapon.

Garon's pretty balanced. Kinda like M!Grima for durability, but not as much Atk. Also, red dragon that isn't Tiki hype.

Apparently Helbindi and Laegjarn have the weirdest skills yet: two A slot skills that gives +5 HP and makes the unit count as 170 BST in arena matchmaking. The skills are apparently limited to green infantry and red fliers (at least their names in Japanese strongly imply that).

While I'm sure they'll release more versions of this later, it's... odd to say the least.

Sure, why not? It's just Fury anyway.

Heck, I keep a Res Tactics seal on her even when she's in a party that can't benefit from it at all. Nino has leeway.

I guess she'll just get the extra SPD from the seal slot. Not like she needs ATK with a bladetome.

Mine could probably get away with it, since there's very few things in my scoring range that she doesn't grossly outspeed. She's also summoner supported, though. I think my dragons are the big ones who wouldn't be able to give it up, even were the skill available to them. I'm honestly not sure if I'd want to run her with the current meta-game, though. My armours are suitable for softening up the enemies to feed to my bonus unit, whereas Nino will just outright obliterate them. What a mess the scoring change has made of things.

Ophelia. Girl. What the fuck is that stance in your neutral portrait. I've seen more stability from people with one leg. I know you're a caster, but you're still supposed to be able to stand upright.

Yeah, the score skill was weirdly timed.

I hope to god they change the arena scoring system away from the bonus unit getting extra points. it's so dumb.

I just had a funny thought.

PA!Inigo can potentially score as much or out-score OG Hector with that skill.

Garon has Distant Defense, Panic Ploy, and the following:

Breath of Blight - Neutralizes "effective against dragons" bonuses. At the start of turn 4, deals 10 damage to foes within 3 spaces, and restores HP to unit = number of foes within 3 spaces × 5. If foe's Range = 2, calculates damage using the lower of foe's Def or Res.

So wait, are the musppell bosses going to just be a regular banner?

Gunnthra why are you a legendary hero again? I can get Fjorn since she's sorta supposed to be Book 2's protagonist but now you're just sticking out even more.
