For some reason, it just hammers home to me that the Fire Dragon needed three lords to take down, while Roy could take on Idunn with no problem.

There was a lack of hindsight thinking when it comes to the Elibe Saga.

I find it to be pretty random that he also supposed to imitate Alfonse.

In Blazing Blade, Bramimond adopts the voice of anybody he speaks to. Since he never spoke to Roy, it makes no sense for him to adopt his voice here.

He did speak to Athos, though. Maybe that's who Ray Chase is supposed to be.

I forget, can Roy still take Idunn down with Durandal? The Binding Blade murders her for sure, but did the other legendary weapons do the same?

Ironically this is a terrible way to single someone out since everyone hears their own voice differently from how others do.

I'm really glad these epic lore figures are being Promoted to Playable in any case but the only person that could approach Altina in hype factor is the penta-axe general.

I never expected Bramimond to Power Creep the Power Creep. Like, he's designed to screw over anyone using Brave Lucina and Ike cheerleaders with his C skill, and his tome gives him bonuses if the unit is basically Gen 3 or above.

I wonder what will happen in AR now, since Thrasir basically killed the dragon meta in AR, and whales were relying in their ultra-beefy +10 units nowadays.

And i just got a good boon Brave Lucina. Oh well.

I believe that Ray chase is supposed to represent Alfonse with him being one of the 4 voices of Bramimond. My reasoning for this? Bramimond has Alfonse's Japanese VA as one of his 4 voices instead of Roy's VA.

It's spelled Alfonse not Alphonse though.

Yeah, that C skill with Lull Atk/Res is going to be super gross. My Fjorm will have some defense against it due to double Eir just giving her 52 listed Res, plus Null Follow-Up negating Brammimond's otherwise guaranteed double (guessing he's going to be pretty slow to take advantage of that). And Surtr is also generally a natural tank wall who won't get doubled because lul, 20 Spd. However, negating M!Corrin's boosts to him may suck quite a bit. And since he's a Dark hero, probably not going to see him in Astra, where B!Ikecina combo is. If it does come down to it and someone shoves him into an Anima team anyway, I guess I'll have Fjorm or Duo!Alfonse to try to deal with it.

Near as I can recall, Idunn isn't that much of a threat without the Binding Blade; however, Roy's not exactly good, so he needs it to do much to her anyway.

Her original version was apparently way harder before they nerfed her in the game. I even heard people compare it to a Raid Boss in the way she was designed initially.

Idunn in game is supposed to be what Idunn was in the Blazing blade originally.

...Did Mjolnir's Strike scores usually wind up in the quintillions? Arvis's doesn't even fit on screen.

No, something broke with the display. IIRC, they had a post referring people to the website tracker while the Shield phase was ongoing.

Also,it started with Narcian IIRC.

Plot twist, the first tier isn't even a tome. It's just a rock you chuck at people.
