Split and reorganize the Fire Emblem pages

We had a small discussion over on the Fire Emblem forum thread over how we're lumping games in the same universe together and how Nintendo has never classified them. The upcoming release of Echoes makes things even more questionable for the Archanea/Akaneia page since Gaiden/Echoes is almost entirely self-contained from the rest of the other games aside from a few characters yet that's lumped in too.

I believe it's best that we only use the "continent" pages for shared tropes throughout all their games as well as character pages while we give every game its own page. Let's see if we can hammer the whole process out.

First page to split: VideoGame.Fire Emblem Akaneia. Needs to be VideoGame.Fire Emblem Shadow Dragon, VideoGame.Fire Emblem Gaiden (needs a redirect from VideoGame.Fire Emblem Echoes Shadows Of Valentia), and VideoGame.Fire Emblem Mystery Of The Emblem.

They're blue links right now due to being redirects.

I've started on Sandbox.Fire Emblem Gaiden. Working on the description right now and will transplant tropes later.

If anybody familiar with the plot could give a really short explanation of it for the description, that'd be wonderful and much appreciated.

EDIT: There are barely any tropes related to Gaiden on the Akaneia page, so we could totally move the Gaiden sandbox over right now since it now has the minimum trope requirement.

Personally I think it's fine to split Gaiden and its upcoming remake from the Akaneia games and keeping the rest as is. The games taking place in the same setting share a lot of plot points and characters that are redundant to list twice.

Let's wait until all the sandboxes are finished before we launch them.

The point is that we are going to keep the continent pages for the characters but the games get their own pages with the character tabs linking back to the continent character page.

x2 Mystery is its own game so it gets its own page. That's how it works.

You don't see Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith sharing a Film page despite both having a ton of overlap in setting and characters.

imo the Gaiden page at least should be up ASAP considering the announcement of the remake. We can take our time with the rest.

So I've updated the description of Gaiden with the plot stuff and it has a decent amount of tropes, so bar a page image and quote it's definitely ready to be swapped in.

Anybody wanna chime in? I feel like Gaiden is ready to go but nobody other than Waxing has posted here, and we can't make a decision with only two people.

Swap's done and it's been thrown onto a couple indexes. Help throwing it on more indexes and crosswicking tropes would be appreciated.

Edit: I realize in hindsight that my decision to act might be was made hastily, but I don't see the harm in it when Gaiden barely had a presence on the trope pages and it Needs Wiki Magic anyway.

Eh, I think we're alright with being hasty with Gaiden.

We need to take our time with the rest, though.

Though FE6 will be a little weird since it doesn't chronologically follow the whole thing with the Black Fang and Nergal and stuff, and almost no characters are shared between it and FE7.

Agreed.

This shouldn't be too much of an issue; if anything it makes things easier because the split is more defined.

Though on the flipside I don't know much about the pre-Awakening games, and thus can't pick out what tropes go where.

Even The Other Wiki and at least one fan wiki use it, plus it's the most recent translation of the name.

Well, we still haven't moved VideoGame.Xenoblade to "Xenoblade Chronicles", so...

Besides, isn't Akaneia the spelling they use in Europe as well?

Sure, but Archanea is a far better-looking name.

More to the point, I'll reiterate that the pages themselves use the American spelling. Not just for that, but all the other names that differ from the European version. Consistency is the issue here.

Plus the American version of the Shadow Dragon remake came out after the European one, so it wins out by the "most recent official translation" rule.

Unless Heroes has flavor text somewhere using the current page spelling.

Has anybody done anything with the other games? I haven't done anything largely because I know squat about them, and only did Gaiden despite that because there was barely anything to transfer.

Also, FE 7 needs to be titled The Blazing Sword, not Blazing Blade. Correct sandbox would be Sandbox.Fire Emblem The Blazing Sword.
