You don't think I'm not aware of the wreck train when it came marketing to this game? Capcom deserve all that crap & then some for all the asinine shit they said. But when the game came out & someone said they enjoy it, they were call a shameless shill for it

A few bad seeds is not the entire FGC.
Plus why even leave to FGC? MK/Injustice aren't the most popular FGC games and they sell like gangbusters to to causals. Where casuals even aware Mv Ci was a thing?
35 year old white man.Maybe not, but it isn't a few. It's still a good chunk of FGC that had that toxic behavior. This isn't a Vocal Minority & Silent Majority scenario here. Quite frankly, I had Sturgeon's Law for pretty much any community out there & my experience with FGC only reinforce that.
I don't even know what you're talking about, but yea the casual were shitting on this game
You know, due to my experience on Shoryuken, and how toxic I was when I first came to these forums... I stand on agent-trunks' side when it comes to thinking the FGC ain't worth it. And you can't just call Shoryuken "a few bad seeds", you know. Once in a while I also check on Eventhubs when news come popping around (like Ono's departure from his position as Capcom's Fighting Games manager) and I see similar behavior.
It's funny how a community about getting together around a certain game genre became something of a class system.

Growing up, it's like a civil war, don't turn away, it's something you can't ignore...Man i just ignore all that and just play the damn games.
I've learned that forums that specify around a specific genre can quickly end up as cesspools so I've just backed of from them entirely
"Have a good day. Have a good week. Have a good month. Have a good year. Have a good life." ~CiviaAnyone read the comic of this game?
Marvel Vs Capcom Infinite Infinite Horizons
Mileena MadnessNever heard of that before...
We can never truly eradicate the coronavirus, but we can suppress its threat like influenzaYea, I read it
That crappy ass comic that just proves to me that Marvel gives no crap about Capcom.
If anything, that comic is a show of how burned the bridges are between the two right now.
Growing up, it's like a civil war, don't turn away, it's something you can't ignore...MVC 4 is dead :(
Mileena MadnessNot surprised. Heck, i won't be surprised if there is no Street Fighter V Season 4.
Street Fighter V is probably going to get all of it's planned seasons (was it 5? I forget exactly), dlc for it still seems like it is still making money, so I doubt Capcom is going to stop now.
With that in mind though, I wonder how the dlc for MVCI did? Like obviously I know it wasn't enough for a season 2 but I wonder if it completely tanked or not relative to the install base for the game.
Well I can't imagine Capcom fans were super keen on the DLC.
This song needs more love.It was five seasons. But I wouldn't be surprised if the fifth gets cancelled, what with the whole "games as service" shit falling apart as Final Fantasy XV has shown us.
I mean, tournaments are holding the game together, but the sales already didn't meet Capcom's expectations (1.5 of 2 mil in the first year if I'm not mistaken) and the funds can only reach so much.

Growing up, it's like a civil war, don't turn away, it's something you can't ignore...Did Vergeben say anything or what?
Not that I've seen. If so, could someone link something?
Ultimate Alliance 3 has the X-Men
Lmao
Way to kick a game when it’s down
35 year old white man.I mean one game has been made post-Fox ban and one was made during it.
It's to make sure it doesn't get up again. I'm sorry if I'm not one to accept a product of Marvel's ego and idiotic squabble with Fox.
Growing up, it's like a civil war, don't turn away, it's something you can't ignore...Technically, the Ultimate Alliance 3 trailer only had Wolverine, but since he was shown fighting Sentinels at what I'm assuming is the X-Mansion, I take that as a good sign.
If you don't like the game, that's fine. Just don't ruin it for people who do like it and want to see it make a comeback.
This is not the greatest signature in the world, no... this is just a tribute.I was just answering the guy. I was out of the thread for quite a time now.
Also, the guy comes here saying "way to kick a game when it's down". There's a reason for people to kick the game and you should know that. If it's Marvel Vs. Capcom Infinite, sorry to say, but I'm not the only one with a negative opinion of the game. No one here is fawning over the game, meaning you'd have to point fingers at lots of people.

Growing up, it's like a civil war, don't turn away, it's something you can't ignore...
... When it was turning into a shitshow pre-release.
I remember almost nothing but excitement and positive commentary on its initial reveal.
Dragon Ball lit the match and really led to Infinite hate exploding, but there wouldn't of been any fuel if the game was otherwise stellar, strong competition or no.
