While the rest of the company assembled a battle formation in the road to the north, Amystra slipped deeper into the woods, winding her way through a dense maze of trees and vegetation. As she pushed her way through a gap between two wild laurels, though, a voice called out to her.

"Stop right there!" it demanded, and a moment later, flashes of red between leaves revealed a small group of Vissan soldiers, weapons drawn and their armor and clothing marred with blood and dirt. As they lay eyes on Amystra properly, though, they lowered their guards. "You're not Calderian," the present officer said, looking her over as she explained the situation.

"Right then," the officer nodded when she was finished. "We'll go reinforce the rear while you press on. Give those bastards hell!"

Osroes’ mind parses the information and stores it, nodding. “Our thanks. We’ve cleared a path back to the city – you can join our assault or help break the siege there. Either way, fight well under your divine gaze.” He quickly glances up, then bows his head, making his meaning clear.

Then he urges Rsama forward again; the pegaz launches himself into the clear space beyond and takes to the skies. Osroes scans the battlefield; on their flank, Cassandra flags him down. As the pair swoop around and his ally comes into focus, Osroes grimaces at the sight of her plate and Temperance’s barding, battered to the point that he simply leans out with his healing draught for her to take.

And, once more, it feels right.

With another nod, Osroes turns his attention to the East again, seeing the gathering of their forces in the forest, then the fortress and its guardians, then the great flashes of Light (he smiles within himself) and shadow of the magical struggle beyond.

He looks directly towards the guard posts and their ballista, raises his bow in challenge, then nocks an arrow.

Osroes dashes to F20.

Requesting that, as part of her turn, Malia performs a Dance of Stamina for Azadokht.

On her first turn, Azadokht moves to AC19, attacks Calderian 53 with the Light Axe (Light - Mag against Def) and continues to AA17.

On her second turn, Azadokht attacks Calderian 52 with the Light Axe (Light - Mag against Def) and continues to AD21.

Requesting that Greham moves to AB15 and attacks Calderian 32 with the Silver Blade, cleaving to Calderian 30.

Grendan: If an enemy is reduced to low enough HP for him to finish off and is still alive after all other relevant actions: Move adjacent to that enemy (try for cover if possible) and attack with Hero Axe.
