The Company's front line pushed past the castle's middle tower, finishing the remaining archer off as they moved to establish a skirmish line. Sophia pulled the orb they had recovered from Urtaxis from her robes, feeling the magic react easily to her thoughts as she summoned a squat, green beast with a reddish flower on its back. Addelus landed a few paces behind her, calling out words laced with their own magic to bolster the troops' spirits with resilience.

The towering woman in command of the first line of defense roared as she swung her axe with such mighty force that it clove the summoned beast in two with a single strike. The beast merely grunted as it reverted to a bright red light, and flashed back to the orb in Sophia's hand.
Her remaining soldiers flanked her, hurling spears at Railen, though only the first struck the slippery rogue.
The shriek of a wyvern called the Company's attention to the northwestern tower at their backs, where a pair of the draconic beasts perched on the crenelations were preparing to take flight.

Azadokht saw the glint of murderous intent in her foe's eye the moment before she drove her axe into her, and knew that had she not slain the soldier, she surely would have been left bleeding and unconscious upon the road.
Bette made similarly short work of the other weaker soldier, but their hulking officer proved far more difficult. Railen darted in, slashing for her throat, but was taken off guard as she smoothly dropped her axe to draw a sword, parrying his strike. Off balance, he reeled from her counterattack as the sword caught him across the shoulder, but he still managed to land a parting blow on her thigh.
Sophia summoned a vortex of scything blades of wind around the warrior before she could move in to finish Railen off, but the burly soldier grit her teeth and bore the brunt of the assault. Drawing her other axe, she hurled it at Sophia, tearing through the flesh of the smaller woman's leg. The mage pressed her attack through the pain, and a moment later, the warrior collapsed, done in by a thousand little wounds.
Addelus swooped down, landing Tessa between his injured comrades, and offered Sophia a healing vulnerary while he readied himself to try his hand at healing Railen. Sure, he'd never actually used a healing staff on a real injury before, but he'd read lots of books about it, and watched Diane and the others do it a bunch. Surely he could do it?

“Right!” Azadokht lets out a shuddering breath, confining the tempest of magical energy within herself and trying to put that soul-chilling glare out of her mind. Gathering her resolve, she charges the next tower and the archers atop it. And once again!

If after Bette and Sophia’s turns Vissan 8 is undefeated and has more than 31 HP, Azadokht dashes, moving adjacent to Sophia, performing a Dance of Stamina for Sophia and continuing to D26.
Should Vissan 8 be defeated, Azadokht dashes, moving to F32, attacking Vissan 11 with her Lightning Tome and continuing to D26.
