A while back, Bella Ramsey said she wrote and performed a song about Hilda for Season 2.

This is that song.

I found the line about her being an "honorary troll" amusing since she turns into an actual troll in the books.

Sounds a bit bittersweet, if even melancholy in my opinion. Probably just used to the overly cheery/jumpy/excitable songs that tend to be more common in these kinds of shows, I guess. Was definitely longer then what I expected. I could see this being used on the final episode or in an episode that ends in a rather sad, but hopeful way. I figure that it will play over some animation, instead of mere credits, as its seems to be a bit too long to just play over any regular old credits.

[up] Yeah, it's way slower-paced than its other brethren, but I didn't hear it to be sad.

[up][up] Heh heh, yeah... (Seriously, if the season ends the same way The Stone Forest did, I'm gonna be mighty sore. I don't know if I can wait another two years...)

As someone who enjoyed season one season two is looking a lot more fun. Two weeks to go!

Chances are, we will be getting the Librarian's name. Going to be a bit weird now getting used to whatever her name is, since we would have gone two years either calling her Maven or the Librarian.

Season 2 will feature a special guest!

Andy Serkis appearing as some odd mix of Gollum and Candle Jack? Sounds like fun on—

Guys how do I save a poster from Netflix. Like the big poster you get when you click on a show. There was one Hilda image I really liked and I can’t find it anywhere online

[up] Saving a poster from Netflix? I have zero clue. Plus, Netflix does something called an "artwork personalization algorithm," so your desired poster image might be hard to find?

I wonder if someone ever keeps a record of all the different thumbnails for Netflix stuff...

So s2 is out now. The last episode (The Stone Forest) is twice as long as all the other episodes. I wonder why they didn't just split it into two episodes like people usually do.

Episode 1 kicks things off to a great start with a refresher on what makes Hilda so compelling.

Alberg's an interesting character and if they're going in the direction I think they're taking with him, I'm very interested to see how he turns out in the endgame.

Just finished watching Season 2. It's a great season, and I especially like how the Librarian gets a more major role in it.

Based on the last episode, I'm looking forward to seeing an animated version of "Hilda and the Mountain King," especially if it's an expanded version featuring the characters that weren't in the comic book version of the story.

Episodes 2 and 3 establish that Hilda will go to any lengths to find material to discredit her enemies tongue.

okay that's not really what's happening here, but it is super funny that her first reaction to Ahlberg not being so squeaky clean is to find the info broker or try to find a hypothetical book that spills all the family secrets for anyone to read.

Where did those giants jump off to?I assume they jumped off the edge of the map somewhere, that's just plain weird

Episodes 3 and 4 were great focus episodes, I especially love how Frida's now on the path to becoming a witch.

Did weird me out how glib 4's ending was about the general situation, it's pretty messed up.

[up]I will admit, I don't think I've ever laughed so hard at a scene where a kid gets his head chopped off due to his friend putting it back on the wrong way.

I do find it funny that Kaisa is only one with scandinavian accent and it still doesn't match her name tongue (also bit funny to hear british pronouncing the name due to emphasis they keep putting on first syllable)

(Also did Lloyd just straight up die? :p Kinda amusing how many of the random side characters have english names, was it that way in comics too?)

Episode 5: It's kinda interesting how Victoria seems ultimately more sympathetic than not, with that last ending shot.

Episode 6: They're building up to a great overarching moral about nature and it's really neat to see everything pretty much coming together for this mini climax.
