Latest chapter related stuff. I think site I used didn't get memo that shonen jump stuff is on sundays now (I at least was late on news on scanlators quitting to give official release more space)

Official releases are quite literally free on Sundays. It doesn't hurt at all to wait there

Viz quite literally posts every WSJ chapter free on their website every Sunday. That is the earliest they can possibly release them legally.

Well remember Grandma/Grandmother is an actual title.

Isabella: *lets 40+ products escape, including 2 heads of premium meat*

Farming system: Hmm, sounds deserving of a promotion.

I highly doubt promoting her was the managers' initial plan.

Emma appears twice in Ratri's monologuing.

Isabella is just that good of a a mama.

Yeah, I expected they'd turn her into a baby factory, cranking out kids until menopause, at which point, she'd be slaughtered. Seems instead, she managed to pin the blame on the previous Grandma.

Isabella had to get revenge for her crush one day.

Dang, it really is ending with how it began. Hope Ray gets a good moment to shine, considering their connection.

Oh, and for anyone in countries the Viz site doesn't play nice with, last three chapters are still free.

I was thinking that something was missing from the finale, so I'm very satisfied with how things are shaping up.

Sincerely surprised that Isabella wasn't killed and served up in Ray's place. Like I had always assumed that if they couldn't get the high-quality meat from the children, they'd get it from the adult responsible for the failure.

Maybe she somehow found a way to push the blame up the chain of command, and that's how she got her promotion?

@Omega Which means it would be deliciously ironic if we were to learn that Leslie has in fact been kept alive as breeding stock the whole time.

EDIT: Apparently I missed Leslie being among the people the Queen had eaten when they all appeared in Chapter 155.

Yikes… not at all according to keikaku. Seems like Ratri is behind it, but I'm not sure how he did that in just a few hours.

I love how the gave Peter edgy go board to match Norman's edgy chess board scene. It's really clever how their respective games match their goals, personalities and modus operandi.

Chess is the go-to game to cast an image of intellect (so much that The Chessmaster is a trope name), matching with how Norman put too much effort into looking like a perfect hyperintellectual tactician who can do no wrong in front of his subordinates. The goal in chess is to use different pieces with identities and unique movement patterns to take down the opponent's King. Taking down other pieces advisable but not mandatory. Similarly, Norman is always working with named pawns he understands as individuals with identities (so much that his biggest weapon was the clan Geelan personal vendetta) and his operation was to kill only the blue bloods, not mind the masses as casualties but not going out of his way to kill them either.

And now have Peter's go. A much simpler go without the whole intellectual reputation, because Peter doesn't care what he looks like to the pawns, he just wants to get stuff done. All go pieces are uniform blank stones, matching how Peter's operation was manipulating faceless masses. Lastly, the goal in a game of go is to take away enemy pieces by removing all of their liberties until the opponent quits the game.

…This a case where I'm not sure whether the authors really thought that far, but it's brilliant either way.
