I'll post it tonight. Then after enough people have signed up, I'll restart the game. Should be sometime this week I expect.
New Signup launched. [1]
Not so sure about that. The previous limit was fine.
I know I said I might play as Mindseye again, but I had the idea for a superhero with a Cinderella motif and I couldn’t get rid of it.
GOA: I opened the power level to discussion, and you sounded like you wanted more power.
But there's still time to change that. Personally, I think that if in the comics, Superman could adventure with The Legion of Substitute Heroes, we can do the same here.
But I'll take your vote in consideration. There's still time to change that rule depending on what people feel.
Emily: Play either or both. It's *our* game.
Thanks! But I’m gonna stick to Ember Maiden for simplicity’s sake.
I’m still probably gonna submit a crap ton of NP Cs, just so we’re clear.
And Strip Poker is back in business!
Almost no changes to talk about, save for adding the alcohol problem that he ended up having, changing his build from thin to stocky, changing his leather jacket into a trenchcoat, specifying that he never takes off his mask, and specifying that he’s carrying multiple decks at any given time.
Which sounds like more than it is.
Pollutrix will go up tomorrow, because I have to actually rewrite her sheet instead of just copy-pasting with minor tweaks

Yay for Strip Poker! And yay for PQI!
Great job so far guys!
Not sure if dual characters are allowed, but I just couldn't resist this pair.
borkYes, you can have more than one character at a time, as long as you can handle them.
@Sijo: Did I?
Alright, Pollutrix is up, so here’s a quick runthrough of the changes
Made her identity public, because a secret identity felt implausible.
Changed the mechanics of her aura.
Removed weakness to soap.
Inverted the colors of her costume, removed mask, and put the biohazard symbol on the chest.
Completely rewrote the Goddess into a friendly and benevolent force.
Completely changed background.

I dunno what changes I want with Amethyst or most of my other characters, except to add yet more things I forgot.
GOA: I thought that what you implied with the Panic thing.
Also, you don't *have* to change anything about your characters, you can bring them in as they were. You can also have them evolve in-game.
Should I add Alex and Kaylee's workshop as a concept, or just leave it?
borkIf its just a background detail, you can leave it as is. But if you have like, a lot of details about it, then sure, describe it.
Well, it's kinda the place they'll be hanging around most of the time, but then again, it's mostly miscellaneous.
I guess I'll describe it as we go in-game until we get a solid idea of what it's like.

borkSo... anyone has a good idea for a villain? Cuz I have been racking my brains and so far I've only come up with "The Bad Apples" a family of Hillbillies cursed so that anything they touch rots. I blame it on being away from the Net for a month-and-a-half; I'm rusty.

I could retool Melancholy with extra emphasis on his "terrorist of every cause" angle.
I’m actually toying with a villain concept who has probability-manipulation powers. Like early Scarlet Witch, before her powers were subjected to a continuous stream of retcons. I call them Jackpot.
I know I haven't been accepted yet, but is there a Discord/Skype/Other chatroom for this game or do you just use this thread?
Just curious.
What is so amusing about this? Why do you take lives? How can you forget?Concept: The Freedom Regiment
Basically, an American Civil War-era superhero team. When escaped slave Jack Hart was turned away from the Union Army for his race, he decided to start his own regiment. They were active well after the Civil War, though historical sources vary on how long that was.
Jack Hart
- Escaped slave with psychic powers and leader of the Regiment.
Silas Lennox
- Trans male Irish immigrant sniper and descendant of an ancient Celtic druid.
Abigail Deane
- Cougar shapeshifter from Missouri who disguised herself as a man and was discovered and discharged. After a week of living in the wilderness alone, she was found by and joined the Freedom Regiment.
Caroline Hope
- Aspiring doctor from a wealthy family.
(These are just broad character ideas, I’ll flesh them out if this gets approved. And if anyone has any other ideas for Regiment members, DM me! I’d love to hear them.)

Scorpio: Not currently, but I'm often on Skype. If there's enough interest I could start a Chat there. What say you guys?
Emily: Love the concept, though distance from the present makes it difficult to interact with the characters (unless some are immortal or The Traveler randomly pops in the Civil War.)
Is there an ETA on the new signup thread?
