The story for now is rather traditional (or cliche as some say). But I am definitely liking this for the novelty and how they managed to pull it off. Not surprised that not a lot of people are picking this up yet, since it is a bit too niche.
Kinda wish they engineered the puppets a bit to allow for expressing different emotions (kinda like those changeable faceplates common with Japanese action figures), but overally, this is a great attempt at bringing back puppetry to the mainstream.
I'd be surprised if this got an english dub and aired on american tv. I bet mainstream critics would call it an adult version of Thunderbirds.

Watch SymphogearEp 4 is here.
I feel bad for being the only person who seems to actually want to post here.
Watch SymphogearI will start it after I finish Stranger Things so all in due time my brother, all in due time.
"All you Fascists bound to lose."The weird thing is the main team seems insanely OP while the villains die by the drove, my bet is that white hair guy and his party will betray everyone in the last few episodes and we'll have a boss rush, also put my money that the screaming phoenix killer dies to the big bad in the grand tradition of showing how powerful he is.
You're not alone Demongodofchaos 2. I'm currently in love with the series and I'm a bit sad that it isn't getting any recognition. Currently, the series is on episode 9 and I am adding more tropes to the page. I'm trying to branch the series into other trope entries and since it's been categorized as a series I've been putting in the Live-action television section. How's that sound?
I've just finished watching the show. Up to episode 8 it's been pretty generic fantasy series; thankfully, later episodes provided some plot twists. Although imagining characters as heroes from Fate/Stay Night made the series much more enjoyable for me Basically, Archer is the protagonist (he even has his own UBW), his dad is on his side in the beginning, at least, there is a hot-blooded guy with a lance, that has vitriolic relationship with the protagonist but grows to respect him, and the main villain is Gilgamesh? Yeah, sounds like fun. Although I liked the series overall, I saw quite a few disadvantages. Sho Fukan, Tan Hi and Ken Sanun seemed pretty generic, Betsutengai was downright boring, and I feel that Rin Setsua is a bit overpowered (a trickster, a mage, master thief and a master swordsman? come on). Also, what happened to Kei Gai? She just disappeared at the end. And I feel disappointed that Tan Hi didn't have an opportunity to win a big flashy sword battle. There were good points as well, though. Voice actors were absolutely magnificent, as well as the soundtrack (loved it). Special effects were pretty cool, and I like how detailed those puppets are (their clothes are just beautiful). The final episodes made me smile a few times, which, I guess, also counts as good.
I love my country, I just hate its governmentSo lol. I loved that ending of "Sir Fugitive Hunter" subplot, its always fun to see the "Ha, I planned for everything" guy's plans fall flat because the victim's reaction is like "Oh well what can you do"
So the ending of this season felt a bit weaker than last season because blatant sequel set-up, but the final battle was much more solid.
The villains also were a lot more engaging especially poor Seven Blasphemous Deaths and her increasing alarm at having a wielder so incredibly thirsty for her.

GM of AGOG S4: Frontiers RP; Sub-GM of TABA, SOTR, & UUA RPsAand the movie has even more newer types of puppet gore :D
I hope they release all the arrangements from the movie in a small album sometime. The duet between the bards was particularly good.
GM of AGOG S4: Frontiers RP; Sub-GM of TABA, SOTR, & UUA RPsSeason 3 is finally here! And in a return to form, it's a very strong first episode. The mirror-leaves certainly hold a lot of potential for shenanigans.
By the way, here's the OP:
Season 3 ended in a hilariously anticlimactic way, but more Sho Hayami to ham it up as both emperor and Huo Shi Ming Huang is never a bad thing.
I can't decide whether I like S1 or S3 more. Agree with your spoiler, though. I was excited to hear him use his softer "Captain Aizen" voice there. Also, BAN GUNHA is an absolute legend.
GM of AGOG S4: Frontiers RP; Sub-GM of TABA, SOTR, & UUA RPsUpdate: Urobutcher tweeted that he was finally done drafting the Season 4 script! No production schedule yet, but it's progress!
GM of AGOG S4: Frontiers RP; Sub-GM of TABA, SOTR, & UUA RPsSeason 4 confirmed for airing sometime this year, followed by a finale movie (rather than a Season 5) in 2025!
GM of AGOG S4: Frontiers RP; Sub-GM of TABA, SOTR, & UUA RPsoh shit, I'm interested to see how Urobuchi ends it after it went on for so long.
A Taiwanese puppet show, written by Gen Urobuchi, ost by Hiroyuki Sawano, and is essentially urobuchi's take on Wuxia.
First episode was out about a week ago, and I just watched. Pretty impressed, actually.
