Parker Luck at it again. :V
Mileena MadnessThat's a little... dark don't you think?
Ya know I kinda hope Felicia’s kid really is Peter’s kid.
It be amusing.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Game literally killed off May and had tons of dark shit in it. Felicia being dead isn't off the table.
Mileena MadnessI’d doubt it, it’s just too sudden.
May’s death was heavily focused on as apart of the game’s climax, Felicia dying suddenly from a distance during a DLC doesn't have the same feeling.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."May dying in the game's climax is one thing. Felicia dying in a building air vent and her corpse being found while climbing around is another.
The possibility of her actually being pregnant with Peter's child, but keeping it secret due to feeling guilty about always popping up in his life to backstab and manipulate him is one I figured they might go with.
Finally getting a chance to play through the DLC. The new twitter posters are fun, especially the NotTheDailyBugle one.
And also:
Not long after starting the the original Cat paintings collectathon:
"Yes, Detective. We all know you're Walter Hardy. Be less obvious about it, would ya?"
ADDENDUM:
Finished it. Yeah, Felicia's pretty obviously not dead. For one, if she were it wouldn't have been the subject of a cliffhanger. They would've just treated it like May. Given that the third arc of the DLC appears to be Silver Sable centric, I wonder if this whole thing was conceived as a reference to Silver & Black, before that whole situation got a bit confused.
Speaking of Screwball, I was expecting to take her in again at the end of her mission chain, but it looks like she's going to be the Taskmaster / Riddler figure in the game from now on. Which I don't mind - I really like her and the idea behind her (though she's a bit more evil now than before). If they can figure out a non-cumbersome way to incorporate the in-game twitter [[spoiler: into her next "season," that would be even better.
I hope Yuri returns for the next one, since I rather missed her this time around. Given the overall story involves a gang war, I've got my fingers crossed for possibly getting Wraith.
Lastly, Peter being big brother / father figure to Miles is adorable.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.I got a question to people with the game. Maybe I am dumb, but can someone explain to me why Sable agents are sometimes immune to webbing, and sometimes not?
Sometimes I can yank weapons from the Sable sword guys. Sometimes I can't. Sometimes they No-Sell the impact web or web bomb. Sometimes not.
Not been super fond of The Heist. The Minigun guys really kill the flow of combat in a not-fun way. And the entire DLC being "Peter is gullible and dumb" sort of got tiring.

Yeah, Peter is really gullible in the DLC. I get he's good-natured, but taking someone he knows fully well is a lying thief at her word raised my eyebrows a little.
As for the Sable guys, there's two different enemy types with swords: The kind you can yank their swords away from are like normal thugs with batons and web up normally, and the kind that are immune to that are like the Demons Elite Mook swordsmen. Because the Sable guys are mostly all wearing the same uniform, it can get kind of hard to differentiate them.

But the kind I can't web don't do the "You need to hit them after a dodge" thing. I can just beat them up like any normal sword/baton guy (Lift them up and punch)
That's pretty much his and Felicia's relationship these days post-OMD. The game at least is aware this isn't totally a good thing.
New suits for next DLC: Spider-Armor MK I, Mangaverse Spider-Man, and the original Iron Spider suit.
Edited by BadWolf21 on Nov 13th 2018 at 8:13:16 AM
The manga one and the Iron Spider one are cool.
It's been 3000 years…The MK I looks sliiiiiiiiick◊ in-game. The promo shot doesn’t do it justice.
Okay, you're right. I thought it was yet another black suit, but nope. Cool.
It's been 3000 years…I’m with you. I thought it was only ok, and then I saw this picture and realized the lighting in the promotional shot is all effed up.
Yuri’s back, also, in the midst of a gang war. Again, gotta wonder if we’re getting Wraith.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain. The Noir suit would fit this mission very well.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I haven't played The Heist yet (gonna wait for all three episodes to be out so I can play them all at once), so I can't say 100% for sure, but I wouldn't expect anything that radically alters the status quo before the next game. There are going to be people who play Spider-Man, and Spider-Man 2, but don't play The City That Never Sleeps, and telling those people "you missed all of this story-critical information by not paying extra last time" is a terrible business choice.
Black Cat appeared just fine without needing to be status quo critical.
Also, this game’s best analogue, the Arkham series, didn’t have much problem occasionally putting important story stuff in DLC.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.I'm confused how you're equating "Black Cat was in this" with "Yuri experiences a fundamental change in character."
Other than the Catwoman story chapters in City...Arkham's DLC was never story-critical either. Not sure what you're on about there.
Edited by BadWolf21 on Nov 13th 2018 at 5:17:21 AM
Even the Catwoman story stuff didn't really matter. There was one important event and it's covered in Batman's story during Protocol 10.
Nothing makes it more clear that Felicia's alive than painting side quest. She's doing the same thing her dad did, and some time 20-25 years from now Anne and/or Mayday will wind up helping her collect her hidden loot stashes.
Felicia had intended to fake her death, but she made it through the trap door just a second too late. The explosion badly burned her before she was completely clear, and she couldn't get back out or get help, so she ended up really dying of her injuries. Spidey will end up accidentally finding what's left of her next episode when he traverses the air ducts of the building.
Yes. Yes it is.. Also probably not going to happen that exact way, unless Disney, Marvel, Sony, and Insomniac are cool with their highly-publicized T-rated game starring a popular-among-all-ages superhero suddenly getting bumped up to M and bringing forth the ire of parents everywhere. I’m just indulging in thinking up the maximum possible tragedy that could potentially befall poor Peter Parker in that specific scenario.
