Its kind of funny how Rhon seems to have supplanted Excalibur as Artoria's main weapon in the FGO verse.
If nothing else, it makes Lartoria distinct from the original beyond just her chest size.

They do have a weird amount of interest for what was originally a fairly minor armament. Like, no one except people with deep interest in Arthurian lore ever heard of it before FGO.

It's because of that Nasu made it more special than it really was. It's been noted that he focuses more on obscure things because he can get more mileage out of what he wants over well documented legends.

That and Excalibur doesn't have the uniqueness value it used to have since we have two Arthurs wielding that sword (Artoria and Proto-Arthur).
Instead of focusing on relatives that divide us, maybe we should try to find the absolutes that tie us.
Ladder event isn't so bad.
I'm at about 500K in each now, but now I've gotten the 40K missions open I only need to run about 38 battles to max out the rest.
I needed to come this far to NP 5 Idol X anyway, so I might as well go the rest of the way.

And Excalibur has been drawn lots of times. But most importantly, its scene in Fate/Zero wins. 
Which is weird, because it looks different in either case anyway (and the restraints on it appear to be somewhat different) and Arthur would have Rhon somewhere too.
Though we've had a dearth of things that would really be appropriate to throw Excalibur at when at full power. Laser goes wheee.

I think it's barely within nat AP to get to the 500k point on all ladders, and that has annoyed me.

I'd gladly take Excalibur over this god forsaken spear. If it could be broken, I'd smash it with a hammer myself, then blow up the pieces for good measure, and the shove each and every piece of rubble up Beryl's ass.

Hey, we agree on something!
Well, I don't want to break it, it does have an important role in the story (killing Mordred), but eh. Really getting overdone and overused. Yeah, Excalibur has the same exalted status but at least it doesn't keep getting extra random stuff dumped on it. It's a sword, it kills things, it doesn't create weird plot points. That's why it was made.

You say that, but Extella is all about it being an Alien killing weapon.
Now granted, Exacalibur is pretty much the most talked up sword in all of literature even outside of Fate, so it's not as bad. Rhongomyniad literally has nowhere near as much significance, so Fate just giving it so much importance is funny.
Like I said, I'm fairly certain it's just to make Lartoria distinct from her Saber version.

Keep getting. Extella gave it "killed Sefar" but at its core that's just an extension of its original purpose. It's a laser sword, the best laser sword (excluding the drill), and it's there to kill stuff. It doesn't do anything else, it's just a weapon.
Rhon has, to date, turned its wielder into a Divine Spirit; for some reason bypassed the "no ageing" thing that would be attributed to Caliburn or Avalon not Excalibur; been turned into an anchor for the world; literally everything it was doing in Camelot; turned someone else into a duplicate of Lartoria; and been fired from what is effectively a different world somehow. Plus the Case Files event.
Literally all of this has been made up exclusively for F/GO and it keeps getting pushed (the Excalibur laser thing is an extension of older works ffs, so even that's not super original).

I have a MLB Bella Lisa.
And the other QP-CE from the shop with Mona Lisa on it, also MLB.
And focused solely on supports with either of these two on them.
...Still. 185 Million QP only after 160 runs.
I did get a ton of Silver-Materials though...
