They were from rival courts. Sei's mistress, Empress Teishi, was the Emperor's first wife, but due to Fujiwara political maneuvering, Fujiwara no Michinaga had his daughter Shoshi installed as the second Empress. Teishi almost immediately fell out of favor, and eventually died in childbirth. By most accounts they weren't close, and Sei likely left the Imperial Court before Murasaki arrived there, but she was well-known enough that Murasaki had heard of her (and the Pillow Book was already famous, too).
Sei doesn't mention Murasaki at all, as far as I know, but Murasaki writes a little about Sei and women like her in her diary, where she essentially calls Sei pretentious and fond of showing off her Chinese writing skills.
It's been fun.So Murasaki just doesn't like Sei because of her writing style? I mean, The Pillow Book wasn't meant to be published and was just Sei's personal diary, so I don't think Murasaki would get an accurate enough portrayal of her from just her diary, when diaries are typically the place where people vent.
Vegeta: I'm back bitches!I mean, what little I read about the two paints Murasaki as the kid who sits in the back of the class hating on the popular clique for the crime of, well, being populer, as if that equals being shallow.
Then their appearance ate very appropriate.
If this was a manga, they be in a yuri Opposited Attract high school setting.

For real tho
Who IS that girl from Robin’s scene??
Fuk, Summer Nobu’s Valentine has me feeling things
Maid Marian?
I have so many questions
The one thing I can remember from this version of Robin Hood out of the many in TM was that he was a son of a Druid. So it’s really ?? on what aspects from legend they used for our Robin
I can only assume someone close to him in his life that he couldn't be with. Remember, the Archer called Robin Hood is not the Robin Hood, he is just one of many to have taken on the mantle. The original Robin Hood, Robin of Loxley, is actually one of the spirits Saber has bound to his shadow in Fate/strange Fake.
To know who this woman is, we'd need to know who this Robin is. Problem is... there's nothing to go on about him. Most we know is that he was an orphan taken in by a druid and an outcast because of that. During his time as Robin Hood, no one ever saw his face or learned his name, and he died before the Yew Tree his crossbow was fashioned from, no one ever learning his identity. So the only one who would know his name would be himself, since history never recorded it.

Well, the Pillow Book was very definitely not just her diary. Sei was well aware that people were reading it, though there's some disagreement over whether she was just writing it for fun or was doing it as a sort of sponsored counter-push to bring Teishi's court back into favor. There are indications she started writing it when Teishi was already falling out of favor, and it seems likely (to me) that she also wanted to write down fond moments between the two of them.
Murasaki was probably depressive, and she had a pretty rough life (most people did back then, especially women). She was protected in court by virtue of being a favorite of Michinaga, the father of the Empress she served, who seems to have been fairly creepy to her despite probably not sleeping with her, but overall she doesn't seem to enjoy being famous.
It's been fun.Wasn't Extraverse Robin betrayed by a woman and killed?
Secret SignatureThe woman in question was a nun IIRC so probably not romantic
Heart of StoneSomeone finally did it: Jason getting grailed to lv. 100
As he always deserved.
Lambda Valentine's scene translated, man there are so many bad endings and yet Fou will only extend a paw of help for Space Ishtar.
Is that Lancer Melt real name.
I forget exactly how she stylizes it, but yeah, the Lambda part is official.
It's been fun.Speaking of Swimsuit Alter Ego, you think theres a chance Passionlip might get one? There is a trend with BB two years ago and Melt last year.
Lambda is her alias but also easier to type out then having to specify her as Melt's variant
Swimsuit Passionlip might be interesting. It would fit the pattern.
I accidentally typed "Tit would" before I caught myself. I swear it was an accident.
It's been fun.Valentine 2020 battle music
What class would she be in?
She could be a Saber.
No, really, her giant hands are suppose to represent the ten blades of Durga.
Summer Melt was Melt with a larger focus on her Leviathan side (since Leviathan herself can't be in FGO due to being a /strange Fake character), so summer Lip should be Lip with a larger focus on her Durga side since Parvati and Brynhildr already exist in FGO as characters separate from her.
As someone who knows little to nothing on Heian era Japan, what exactly is Murasaki's deal with Sei?
