So we're definitely getting Bismuth's return soon. It's amusing how she talks about a "lying about this new form" and how that line means something entirely different now.

Wonder how she will be freed though.

I suppose Sapphire ends up liberating Bismuth and telling her what Rose really is, considering she didn't take the news very well.

Don't sapphire will be one to free her,though after Ruby and Sapphire fuse back together they'll most likely free her,if the major spoiler CN released is any indication,her apron did look very pink

June eh, at least we won't have to wait long.

They also said "this Summer", so I'm expecting anywhere between June 21st and June 30th.

I've been pondering the possibility that Sapphire would free Bismuth; I kinda want to see that and that Bismuth would stick around, though a big factor in that would be Uzo Aduba's availability (FWIW, IMDb still only credits her for one episode of Steven Universe).

IM Db isn't really that credible, I think. I remember back before "Tiger Philanthropist" aired that the site listed Bismuth as being in the episode, and, for some strange reason, Grizz, Panda, and Ice Bear were listed as well.

This might just be my age showing, but I thought "FWIW" was fairly common knowledge in terms of acronyms used online, on the levels of "AFAIK", "ROFL", and "IMHO" ^{for those unfamiliar...} "as far as I know," "rolling on the floor laughing," and "in my humble opinion". At least, it was fairly common in online circles I ran in back when I first started going online (I'll just say that I remember the Eternal September).

Anyhow, going back on-topic, is there anywhere Sapphire might go that isn't the storage area for bubbled gems? The only place that comes to mind would be that burrow area that she and Ruby went into shortly after escaping Blue Diamond.

Also, isn't the Burning Room Garnet's room? Which means Sapphire couldn't access it, because Garnet isn't formed?

@4337 First and foremost, thanks for letting me know that room has a name. I had missed it.

Second, I suspect that it isn't Garnet's room. For one, in "Catch and Release," Steven was able to access it via his/Rose's room without anyone else's assistance; I assume this means that any of the Crystal Gems can get to it if need be.

For another, as was established in "Know Your Fusion" with Sardonyx's room, a fusion's room ceases to exist if the fusion de-fuses. The issues with that can be catastrophic, as shown by the need for Smoky Quartz's heroics in escaping when Garnet and Pearl de-fused. It'd be a very bad idea to store all those bubbled gems in a room that isn't perfectly stable. After all, even if you discount "Keystone Motel" as a one-off, there have been four known occasions in Steven's lifetime where Ruby and Sapphire de-fused (getting poofed by Jasper in "The Return," for tactical reasons in "Hit The Diamond" and "Gem Heist," and for personal reasons in "Three Gems And A Baby"). That's four different times where the bubbled gems would have gone who-knows-where if the Burning Room was Garnet's, let alone if there had been any occasion for them to de-fuse prior (and Greg's comments in "Keystone Motel" sure suggest that there had been at least one such instance where he was a witness before).

Thus, I think the Burning Room would be accessible to Sapphire if need be.

Does that mean taht Garnet can't have stuff? man, that sucks.

Garnet definitely has her own room. We've just never seen it.

Or maybe Garnet can still access Ruby and Sapphire's rooms while fused, and any stuff that she wants stored can be stored there.

What’s left for the show at this point in terms of World-building for the Gems

We’ve already become aware of the first Gem War and the events that started and ended it

We’ve already become well informed about life on Homeworld, who runs things there and what it looks like

And now we know the secrets and details of what exactly happened between Rose Quartz and Pink Diamond

We don’t even really have the little mysteries to go on anymore; we know how Steven’s parents met, we know how Garnet and Pearl became Crystal Gems, we know what the Gems were all doing here on Earth, we know where Amethyst came from, we know where Jasper’s anger and aggression comes from, we know how Lapis got trapped in the mirror, we pretty much now know what Lion’s backstory is, we even now know just how Garnet first fused and why Peridot is so little in the first place.

The only mystery left to reveal is just who White Diamond really and then, all the important gaps will have pretty much been filled in

And there are still little mysteries after that. Like "Would Blue Diamond like crying breakfast friends?"

Another thing they could do is have Ruby and Sapphire splitting up be longer than last time, or permanent after learning about Rose being Pink. Then Sapphire and Ruby can get development on their own.

We could have a full-on Amethyst flashback episode. We know a lot of the story anyway but it's not like this show doesn't have filler.

Curing corruption is a big one. Unless it's some kind of special one-off though I expect it to come near the end, as uncorrupting all of the gems they have bubbled would basically be raising an army.

According to the producers, the show has no filler episodes. Every episode has a point, whether it be character development or plot driving or both.
