Los Lycarin, half a station beyond the Spaceport

"Time to leave..." The Stranger puts the gun down in a way that it will fall down at a later time, extends an arm and swings upwards, clinging to the ceiling of the tunnel. He looks around, then finds what he needs - a sign pointing to the nearest emergency hatch. He opens it after a short while, then speeds up, running back to the Spaceport.

The Shard Starport

Time passed in the busy starport. The woman tried to calm the scared boy. Crowds of people, witness to the horror moving panicked. Security questioned everyone of the event. The feline watched with a sarcastic roll of it eyes.

The boy and woman both frightened yet at the same time calmed by the quick response of security. They were comforted by the rapid sense of protection, even if the mechs wielding the pair of revolving machine guns were an intensely scary sight for the boy.

After some time, security withdrew and the boy and woman were permitted to leave. The boy stuck close to the woman, under the embrace of her arm as he hugged his upper body. The boys head was resting against her side, still frightened by the previous experience. "C-can we get that pizza now..?" His voice still quivered in anxious fear, disheartening the woman besides him. All the woman could do was nod and try to comfort him as they headed towards the marketplace.

Merrick chuckles, "I'm fine, Kyerine, please don't worry. And I'm pretty sure there's someone who may miss that bear very much when they find it missing and might come looking for it."

He nods to Mirielle, smiling, "Jotnar have some measures to deal with living among so much ice at home, I'm not nearly as interesting as some others on board, but an MRI would be fine"

Troperia - Laboratories - Biolab

Kyerine looked straight back into Mireille's eyes, his almost cat-like elongated slits for pupils constricting tightly as he stares towards her before breaking it and looking to Merrick for confirmation for what was said. "...but i'll miss the bear as well..." He respond a little sad.

The boy then calms down and then takes a deep breath; looking back towards Mireille "I'm sorry, should've gotten mad." He replies sadly to the woman.

He then looks towards the MRI machine with minor confusing for a few seconds and then in a minor bit of a after thought. "What is blood? I know you can't take any from me but I've seen people injured before. I don't get what is is." Kyerine says in a innocent ramble, not realizing that one of those statements might peak the xenobiologists interests.

Troperia - Medbay

Blake looked over questioningly at Dominic. "You're saying you're like us?" His tone was not a friendly questioning one but a bitter almost annoyed one. Clearly holding something back as he said that.

Nos Lycarin - Shard Starport

A bright smirk of equal competitiveness crosses the young Russell's face. "Aww whats wrong? You upset that a ten year old kicked your butt?" His tone teasing at the much older individual, turning his head and sticking his tongue out at him.

"Or me? I did also flatten you at DDR." Michael adds though less competitive than both of them and laughing at Russell's expression.

"You would beat most of the arcade the way you performed." Russell respond back to Michael with a still impressed tone. Not entirely believing what his ears were telling him.

The group going from the streets into the busy, and crowded starport that was significantly louder than outside. Russell going from leading the group to clearly slowing his gate to now be following, he neither knew where the ship was, nor was confident wandering such a busy area even with a pair of individuals he vaguely trusts.

[[???]]

In a space far beyond, the midnight void of darkspace.
Time seemed to freeze, things emerge. A strange shifts of shadows tearing the twinkles of starlight as if it was simply a thin piece of paper.
A dark object emerged, its shape undefined. Its size unquantifiable. Its details unknowable. What faint shimmers of light that reach this distance place simply became extinguished and forgotten. For this was the fate of all light that reached this distant place, like the fate of all creatures, or empires or stars in the sky, momentary sparks in the galaxies existence. It was unknowable and frightening, as all who seek this distant place became forgot.
Nearly as quick as this warp appeared, nothing remained. Memory fleeting back into the darkness that we can only presume it once came. For just a brief moment it woke from its slumber and for a single moment more gave a peering gaze at what he had created. Then in a moment just as brief as the ones before, like a dream to be forgot it faded back to its slumber in the midnight void.

Troperia, Lab/Medlab

Mireille made a sligh bow to Torvahk "Please, its nothing. I'm happy I could be of assistance" After that she turned to Merrick, making another slight bow and pointing to the MRI "Oh, that is nice, please lay down then, the scan should only take a phew minutes." While she was waiting Mireille figured a little explanation couldn't hurt, she sat down with her legs crossed "Blood... blood is a fluid in the bodies of most of us, its there for... how to explain it in easy terms... do you know what Oxygen is? In short it transports Oxygen throughout the body to where its needed and transports the waste products away." An oversimplification... ignoring the lymph-vessels, nutrients and such... but should give him the gist. "And why wouldn't I be able to get blood from you?"

Troperia Biolab -> Troperia Security Room:

"Busy you are, I see." Torvahk simply said as he left the Biolab. He wouldn't have minded staying to chat, but he could tell there was work to be done here, not to mention that he was still curious as to where that damned Security Room was. Fortunately this detour into the Biolab was not without its purpose, as Torvahk had managed to obtain a map from Merrick that provided a fairly detailed description of the Troperia's floor layout. Any more detailed, and it would have been mistaken for blueprints. Guided by the map, Torvahk Grevom was able to locate and enter the Troperia's Security Room in a matter of minutes.

Upon entering the Security Room, Torvahk would discover a rather small room featuring a desk with a built-in control panel, along with an appropriately comfortable reclining chair made of leather that faced a collection of interactive digital displays. These screens provided live feedback from security cameras positioned in each of the main rooms of the Troperia in real-time and full color...at least, colors he could see. There might have been other colors displayed that were beyond Torvahk's perceptive abilities, but that wouldn't matter. He couldn't help but admire the sense of professional discretion of making sure the cameras weren't placed in areas such as sleeping quarters, and noticed that there was a pair of wireless headphones that allowed the wearer to listen to whatever room was selected, even though auditory information was being recorded constantly from every room.

"I could get used to this..." Torvahk muttered to himself in his native language, continuing to explore the Security Room a bit more.

A Pizzeria at the Shard Starport

The woman and the boy stayed within each others comforting grip all the way through the busy port to the starport till they arrived at a Pizzeria. The boy and the woman had been quietly arguing what kind of pizza to purchase the entire way there. Neither of them could quite get over what they just witnessed but they were doing their bests to distract themselves.

"So sausage and green pepper?" The boy questioned anxiously as the pair looked over the menu together, holding the womans hand.

"No way its gonna be pepperoni again!" The woman responded with a voice of authority and a sly grin, not directly looking at the boy.

"No fair, you said we could get my choice now!" The boy argued back a true statement with a look of annoyed discontent.

"Well I changed my mind!" The woman quipped back with a amused smirk on her face, clearly trying to provoke the boy further. The woman was more than succeeding, it wasn't particularly difficult.

The purple feline that had be following along with the two so far was still with them. The creature, unknowingly to everyone else had jumped up onto a tail and curled its tail around itself as it decided to lay down and smell the delicious food.

Training Room

David sighs and grabs the bridge of his nose before turning to Lex. His cybernetic eye has flared red despite his effort to stay in control.

"Right, right because you'll defend him against the universe, will you? G.R.A.H.A.M. has scary pull in pretty much all of the United Sectors,"

David.

"Furthermore they've been working to make the typical modern human on par with some of the more powerful species of alien out there. Why do you think Project Raijin exists in the first place? If they have to tear this place apart with both of those they will - alive is the order until it stops being convenient, and when that happens we're all screwed."

David!

The AI's tone is sharp and commanding, and David settles a bit, his eye calming back to it's amber coloration.

"I understand where you're coming from. Honestly I do - I know what they want him for, even if I still believe G.R.A.H.A.M. is working toward a greater good for my species. I just want to do what's best, and with my position I can throw my weight around to influence what does happen," he turns back to Greg, "Again. Please. This is the best I have to offer."

Troperia Security Room:

It seemed there was no better way to pass the time for Torvahk than to continue looking around the ship's Security Room. There wasn't much more to see inside the actual room itself that the alien hadn't already noticed, however he did manage to find a locked weapons cabinet behind a locked grated door. It might have seemed excessive, but by no means unfitting, however it made much more sense once Torvahk decided to explore the adjacent room which turned out to be a detention block with various cells. He figured they were most likely for prisoners taken aboard the ship, or more than likely temporary detainment for unruly passengers. They came as standard as detention blocks did, featuring everything a typical prison cell would, the only difference being that this area was regularly maintained and didn't look like it was deteriorating to hell.

Unable to find the combination for the weapons locker, nor the keys for the detention block cells or the room containing the weapons locker, Torvahk decided he had spent enough time in the Security Room. He had a feeling he'd be here often, so he figured he'd acquaint himself with the camera desk controls at another time. Guided by a map of the ship, the alien decided to explore the living quarters, wondering which one he'd be able to claim...however it probably would have been a better idea to ask the Captain about that, but he had no idea where said Captain was...except maybe the Bridge.

Troperia Cargo Bay

Zevai made a mental note of the exits, and milled about the cargo bay for a while. She needed to talk to the captain, but had no idea where he would be. Nor did she know where anything else in the ship was. So she started pacing around the cargo bay, waiting for someone to come inform her that the captain was free and able to be engaged in discussion, now, thank you. For that matter, even if she wanted to seek him out, she didn't know who the captain was. Or how to use the local brand of computer. Or much of anything, really. She was in completely unfamiliar territory. She stopped, shook her head, and activated a comms link back to her ship, "''Izvaizovyn, tell Command I may have a way to get access to one of the local FTL drives. It might be a while, though." She turned the link off, and resumed pacing.

"Oh, I'm coming for both of you, don't worry! I'm months out of practice, but gimme a few marathon training sessions and I'll have you both running for your money." he grins. "...Well, as long as dancing isn't involved, heh. Can't fix two left feet as easy as hand-eye coordination." he says with a joking tone, looking slightly embarrassed at his lack of coordination.

As they pass through the hangar, Amos takes the lead, guiding them back to the ship.

Training Room

Greg has to take a minute with the influx of messages and questions coming at him at once. "Uh...hang on, this is a lot..." He glances down at his terminal and types in a response back to the traffic controllers.

Uh...sure, give them access. You have permission.

With that done, he looks back up to David and Lex, and then Jiko...Kijo...both of them. "You know...I hear about what both of you want." he says to both David and Lex. "Have you tried asking how he feels or what he wants in all of this?"

"...Oh, we've got someone in the cargo bay. Shit. I'll be back." Greg says before leaving to meet the new boardee.

Troperia - Laboratories - Biolab

Kyerine listens slowly to the explanation by Mireille, he is quiet and curious before peaking up at her final question. "Oh because I don't have blood, or atleast I don't think I do. I don't bleed when I get hurt or anything..." He replies with a slightly confused tone at the woman. Clearly now considering how blood works to himself.

Troperia - Medbay

Blake's bitter tone continues, his gaze burning hot with a minor psionicly powered glow at Dominic. "Don't you dare compared us like that! You did not get forced through hell like we did for no reason other than existing!" His response a sharp attack against Dominic, though it might be just misdirected frustration.

Nos Lycarin - Shard Starport

Michael just smirks, then breaks into a bit of laughter at Amos. Russell as well though the younger boy had a clear competitive edge left still. "Yeah right, by the time you get to my level I'll have gotten even better." A clear smirk for anything looking at him as they walked. Completely trusting of where he was being led.

Michael looking curiously and Russell falling silent as Nova approaches Amos.

Nos Lycarin - Orbital Control

After receiving the message from Captain Blackwell-Brandit, the various people at the orbital control begin to argue more at the unorthodox nature of this case. Though eventually acknowledging the current rules and commands, sending a message off to the godsgift.

Godsgift, this is Lyca Orbital Control. Do you read over? We have revived confirmation from the Troperia that you are cleared to dock with their vessel. Note you only have permission to dock with their vessel, not the starport. In addition we are forwarding approach vectors and navigation data to aid your approach. Be advised atmospheric storms are currently approaching the starport, expect minor turbulence upon entry. Over and out.

Apparently near the docks at the Shard Starport

The woman and the boy were waiting for their pizza to cook, or atleast be sliced. The meal was done and out of the oven by this point. The boy had wandered towards the purple feline going up pet it further as it laid out flat on the table, yet it decides to dart off and out of the door as he tries.

"Hey get back here!" The boy calls out before running after it, out of the store and into the busy docks. The boy clearly had no forethought of where he was going, though he rarely did.

The woman only realised the boy had ran out as the food is being handed over, resulting in her forgetting her change and just having to dash after him carrying a pizza box at her side. "Simon, where are you going?" The woman exclaiming questioningly in her flustered surprise, trying to keep track of the boys blueish green coat in the crowd.

The purple feline running up ahead and eventually pouncing at the group of teens heading towards the Troperia and onto the middle of the three. The feline choosing to ignore the youngest and the one partly metallic. The boy and woman chasing in toe with a freshly made pizza comically in hand.

Troperia Living Quarters Section:

Guided by his map, Torvahk eventually found himself in the Living Quarters Section of the Troperia. They looked like what he expected for the most part, save for the fact that they seemed more comfortable...maybe, it was hard to tell considering that all the doors were closed and locked. He expected nothing less however, and found this to be much more preferable...after all, he couldn't accidentally stumble into an unpleasant situation or something. Still, he figured that if he were going to be staying aboard this ship for a while, one of these rooms were going to be his. The only question was: Which one? He would need to ask the Captain about it, who might have been on the bridge, but there was no way of telling for sure. If only he knew a way to contact him Torvahk thought as he pretty much idled around, taking in whatever scenery existed.

Troperia Crew Quarters:

"Thanks..." Torvahk simply replied before walking a few doors away. He managed to open a vacant room and claimed the key that was on the desk. "Room mine, this shall be." He then said as he looked around. He discovered that the room had a simple, but by no means uncomfortable two-person bunk bed with a steel frame, along with a desk for portable computing devices, a dresser which wouldn't do Torvahk much good considering that he only had his armor and one uniform on him, as he wasn't expecting to be on this adventure after all. He took comfort in knowing that his clothes cleaned themselves though as he looked inside the closet. It was empty, save for a footlocker that had nothing in it and hadn't had its combination set yet.

"Idiot, you should have kept your gun here...the armory's for shared guns." Torvahk muttered to himself in his native language with much annoyance. At least he had something else to do now,and with that set Torvahk set out for the Armory to reclaim his gun so he could store it in his own quarters, which he locked behind him as he left, keeping the eye in one of his ammo pouches.

After he had finished cleaning up the remains of his meal, Vincent took a brief stop outside. Manipulating his suitcase' control panel, he sent an order up to the satellite.

A few minutes later, and a package floated down tied to yet another balloon. "Hmm, I will need to check on balloon stocks. Anyway, let's see, my baby" he murmured, opening the crate that dropped in front of him.

Reaching in, he withdrew a large metallic glove triple the size of his hand. Putting it on, he winced as he felt the nanomachines go in, and felt his right eye change, reconfiguring.

Vincent grinned, pointing the hand at the ground and seeing a red light appear on it. Twisting a knob, the circle got bigger, and then smaller. "My darling crucible. Big plans for you" he whispered, and lowered it. Reaching for the last time into the crate, Vincent withdrew a shiny black cane, twirling it.

Throwing the crate and balloon aside, he went back to the ship and followed the signs to the armoury.
