Long gone gulch

Hey this my first post on the forum. I've been a troper for awhile so I decided to give it a shot.

Anyway, I was poking around You Tube, when I found a trailer for a neat show called Long gone gulch. From the looks of it, it seems to be about an Action Girl and a Greaser Delinquent having (mis)adventures in the Weird West. I don't know about you guys, but I hope this thing gets funded. My only problem is that the protagonist are obvious Author Avatars, they're not even trying to hide it. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=_OQkXzGx62I Thoughts?

...Are they the creators of "The Modifyers"? Or am I thinking of some other people?

I know I heard of those two names before, but where?

She worked on the recent Mickey mouse shorts. I've heard about this project she was toying around with. I even chipped in a few bucks to it. I hope she succeeds to make it.

Looks like fun. If it ever gets made for tv, I'll give it a shot! But honestly, I've never been a fan of anything about Westerns.

I finally watched the trailer. I'm totally digging the Weird West angle and hopes this gets off the ground (and cursing my current don't-have-money-to-donate situation).

Sorry guys, I don't think this is gonna be happening. The gofundme has been up for while, and isn't even halfway funded and their tumblr hasn't been updated in forever. Damn shame. If this reaches the heights of Tv show potential, they should air it on Netflix, but it looks like something I would follow on any platform.

Also, this thread seems like advertising. And that is coming from someone who made a thread about the Dragon's Lair crowdfunded pitch project.

So apparently, one of this pilot's influences is Mad Max. How likely will it be that we hear homages of the famous lines, "What a day! What a lovely day!" "Witness me as I ascend to Valhalla!" or even "MEDIOCRE!"?

Wouldn't be the first time a cartoon was influenced by Mad Max.

Snag does look like he'd fit perfectly in a Mad Max style setting.

i would love it if this thing got a TV release. it'd certainly stand out.
