oh god what'd i miss

Concerned what shenanigans an enraged teenager might get up to, Lewis opted to follow the goggled young man, and then proceeded to get dicked over by the city shifting up into the day transition and then well past it, until eventually he just thought 'screw it' and simply hijacked a nearby ship with intent of just flying back to the library and possibly complaining afterward.

The crew of stripey bug-eyed aliens interrupted just as they were about to begin a wondrous escapade in the name of SCIENCE!! were not pleased. The tinier pink and white alien moments from being vivisected felt the opposite (and took the chance to make a break for it).

Library

Well, while he was here, there wasn't much need to keep the vehicle under his thumb, so he opted to remove his magic from it until he needed to use it again. He made his way through the airlock (the city's current sci-fi gimmick was nothing short of impressive. He...knew someone who would like this even more...) wondering what kind of camera he would receive if he asked for one and was greeted with a large crowd looking on helplesslynote  as a giant bird man shuffled through an obscenely large quantity of books with a similarly large range of titles such as Ben 10 and OFF.

Said giant bird was accompanied by four armed fellows including one which was suspiciously familiar from yesterday.

A beat.

Library

Plague Knight looked around. Tensions were high, Old Feather Beak was rearming his minions, and the sun at the center of the City was turning. Of course he had absolutely no idea the significance of that last one, but he was sure it was bad.

"Well if your plan involves driving a wedge between all of us just by being in the same room as us, then it certainly is succeeding," the alchemist bitterly said Old Feather Beak, the knight clearly reaching his breaking point. He then turned to Yael. "And you," the alchemist pointed at the Quarian, "what is you're stake in this? Why are you in the thrall of this putrifying paranormal poultry?"

Viola I Library I Gotta go to Prison

Of course, it doesn't take much for me to agree coming along with Wells' soldiers right away who are leaving for the prison. Nodding, I quickly followed after the said soldiers along with someone named Dave to the airlocks; seeing that a blood bath would be coming soon with the demon and its entourage arming themselves.

I haven't thought much about the place where they would held prisoners but with us going there, I can't help but wonder how it looks like and how it would lock prisoners up without them resorting to killing themselves and spawning anywhere else. Being a challenge reward from yesterday, I'm sure there's something special about it.

Eve|Library

No. Eve would not let him do this. She was talking faster now, slightly more desperate.

"Ben, you're not listening. I said that there is nothing you can do right now. Nobody can do anything right now. And what you're planning to do won't help. You don't even know if it's possible."

...

"So Ben, listen to me. Stop thinking with a watch, or with an axe or with your fists. Think. Plan. Because though we can't do anything right now, right now will not last forever. So think. Think about how we can stop Old Feather Beak, or avoid Rex's suicidal stupidity."

Beat.

"There is more to you than just a watch Ben, so stop moping and think."

The Library — The cart before the horse

Apparently Sans didn't want to answer Rex and went off to contact Silanea. That was awfully mature of him but whatever didn't end in another fight worked for Rex.

"Whatever" he said, shrugging

The Ruckus and their boss were busy arming themselves thanks to Tairee. Things weren't looking good at all but Rex still kept his positive attitude. They might be three guys down and emotionally beaten but still had a lot of powerful people on their side. But first things first, they needed to know how to counteract whatever the hell that black liquid was.

"Tairee, I want to know what that black goo is"

Plague Knight also had questions of his own, like for example what Yael's deal was.

"Well, he did say Joel would die if he wasn't connected to him so I'm going to go on a limb here and say that he wants to breath fresh air without dying. Dunno why because he smells like a corpse anyway" Time for more banter "I have to say I'm impressed. You guys achieved interstellar travel without discovering penicillin"

Meanwhile, Ben was still inside his bubble and was of course incapable of getting out. Eve tried to calm him down by pointing out that he was getting nowhere. Ben seemed to have noticed that and created a plan to easily get out: Suicide.

Luckily, the hunched giant tried to stop him wiht the reasoning that Tairee would trap him in a bubble again after getting respawned. Eve did the same but she reminded him that they weren't in a time crunch (for the moment anyway) and that they needed to plan their next move. Also, something about Rex being stupid.

"Hey, what did I do now?"

Cole pulled back from Jack for a moment, looking around the room, and it seemed to dawn on him that...well, things were actually not very nice in the rest of the room. The demon was up to something, Ben seemed to be in some sort of fit in a bubble, and the militia was starting to leave in a hurry.

Something about the sun turning red as well. He wasn't sure what to think of that but seeing as back home, a hole had ripped in the sky and poured hundreds of demons into the world, probably the sun changing color was a bad thing.

Well, here in this place, things were okay...enough, for the moment. They couldn't hurt the demon but it couldn't hurt them either. But he knew Miss Tairee wouldn't be here all day. If they just stayed and waited, then she would leave, and it would be all-out war. That was a bad thing. Especially with Jack without his powers and Ben's magic gauntlet seemingly not working, if he had heard that right.

He looked outside for a moment, pondering things over, before looking down at Sans and Caro, then back to Jack, then over to Miss Tairee, before grimacing a little. "I think we need to leave this place. I-if we promise to leave immediately, m-maybe she will give Jack Frost and Ben their powers back, and we can go somewhere else and plan without...without the demon there. D-do you think that is a good idea?"

Lucas pocketed the shield killer before looking at the yo-yo approvingly. It had little in the way of design but had a decent weight to it. He picked it up by the string and experimentally let it drop. The string was of an acceptable length and the sound it made on hitting the floor was promising as well. After accustoming himself to it through a few simple tricks, Lucas put it away.

It was then that he realized that the demon didn't already know that one could ask for weapons here, but Lucas had just demonstrated it. It didn't seem like anyone was casting blame on Lucas but the shame didn't go away so easily. He didn't exactly want to stay in the library anymore. He also became painfully aware of Wells scowling at the demon getting weapons.

Lucas suddenly noticed Ben inside of the bubble about to kill himself to escape. This wasn't a good thing. Aside from just how wrong it would be, Miss Tairee would disappear eventually. This would lead to a fight with the unsavory individuals currently inside the library. Having seen Ben fight just a bit had already given Lucas a decent idea of how powerful an ally he could be in a battle. He rushed over to where a few others were trying to talk him down and simply said "I won't let you d-die." He didn't want to see someone die again, especially not someone that reminded him so much of Claus. If Lucas got any sense that Ben was about to do it, he would try to stack as many Defense Ups as possible on Ben, followed by a Life Up to cure any inflicted damage.

Rick's Lab, Fetch Quest Or Something

"Wait, wait. We're all on the same side, right?" Rick welded another joint together as he spoke. "I'll keep your, you know, I'll keep your allegiances a secret or whatever if you just- if you wanna see this author guy go *urp* go right up in smoke." There was a pause as Rick surveyed their reactions. "It's fine, he can- he can't hear me, Morty waves, it's complex.

"Rick pulled open a nearby drawer, rummaged around for something, and threw up his hands. "If - if you girsl see, you know, a , a, *urp* a pair of wire cutters somewhere... you, uh, you know, you mind bringing that back for me?"

"Wire cutters?" asked Morty.

"Yeah, you know, w-wire cutters, Morty, I, uh musta, y'know, misplaced them during the last apocalyptic fight for the fate of the city or... whatever. Wire cutters."

Morty had wandered over to the half-opened door, and was staring up at a particularly bright star in the sky. "Isn't that a little lame, though?" he asked. "Like, I dunno, like it was a, a, fetch quest in a real-bad- in a pretty badly written game?"

"Yeah, well, we-welcome to life, Morty, sometimes life is just a badly written game and *urp* and guess what, you can't quit."

"H-hey, Rick, uh, uh, Seiga, y-you ever feel like you're missing something really important?" mused Morty as he kept his eye on the sky. "Something that's, like, st-oh-changin' the course of the, the, course of your entire adventure?"

Library - Taking turns

Jack didn't exactly look like he was doing okay... But given the situation, it could certainly be a lot worse, and he seemed to have his hands full with an excited Cole, not to mention the other people. Though things looked a bit rough between the former spirit and Sans... Surely it wasn't just over the pun? Back at the desk was a more concerning sight however, Lucas accidentally revealing that the Librarian can summon items and weapons. And the demon instantly taking advantage of that. ...And Ben threatening drastic action to get out of his bubble prison.

Curly marched back toward the desk, barely acknowledging Lewis' arrival on her way to attempt snatching the pen while it's not being telekineticly manipulated for some other nefarious purpose "If you're gonna act all innocent then at least follow through and give other people a turn with that pen" she said without bothering to look at the demon before she tried to write her own note to pass to the closest Tairee.

The Judge - Library - The Room Where It Happens (Is Not Where I Want To Be)

The Judge was watching the whole ordeal from the very top of the stairs with vague curiosity. He was too focused on the demon that the only thing he really noticed was the boy with white hair freak out because said hair had changed color and another young boy trapped in a bubble trying to kill himself...what was he here for, again? His attention was turned to an important-looking man leaving the library, Viola following suit. He relished the idea of escaping, and quickly dashed down the stairs, around the edge of the room, and jumped onto Viola's shoulder wordlessly.

Library, where the drama train has no brakes

"Ben, what are you doing?!" Thomas asked in shock, taking a step back from the bubble. Miss Tairee 2 glanced over, and both of her looked mortified.

"Ben, no! Stop, please! I know you want to do something, but just hold on!" Miss Tairee 2 pleaded with him; tears were starting to run down both of her faces now. "I know you want to do something, but please, just wait! Trust me!" the librarian continued.

"Trust you?! After you just armed our enemy!?" Wells yelled at her.

"I had to, I couldn't... Ben, please" Miss Tairee 2 muttered, barely able to pay attention to Rex or Curly's request.

"They're, black slimes. They stick themselves to a target and, start to digest them with their slime" Miss Tairee 1 explained to Rex between sniffles, as she tried to read Curly's note. She slumped forward a little and took off her glasses frame to rub her eyes with her sleve. "I- I can't do that the way you asked, but I can give those" the librarian stuttered, typing for a little bit on her computer. With a quick blur, everyone in the library besides Old Feather Beak and the Ruckus members had a small object appear near them; they were shaped kind of like fountain pens, but thicker, and had a glowing blue part in the center.

"Nobody else was trying to use it" Old Feather Beak pointed out to Curly in a polite tone as he let her take the pen. "As far as I could tell, the wedge was already there before I arrived. You people had started fighting before I even walked in" the daemon said to Plague Knight, without looking towards the knight.

"I fight to save, my species. There is, nothing more to, say" Yael rasped to Plague Knight, then looked away from him.

"Oh? Now what are those, then?" Old Feather Beak then asked Miss Tairee as the objects appeared near the others.

"... Personal shield generators" Miss Tairee 1 muttered.

"I see. Then, make some for us too, please" Old Feather Beak requested, and after a couple moments Miss Tairee complied, and the five of them each had one appear as well.

Meanwhile, the response to Sans on the anti-humans' channel was rather immediate. "Fuck, WHAT?!" Silanea's voice shouted through, absolutely flabbergasted. "Tuudol! Del'Guk! Get some people and meet me downstairs!" she then hollered through the channel.

Speaking of the radio channels, on channel 94, thus coming through the radio on Miss Tairee's desk, Adam the newscaster's voice could be heard. "So before people start calling to ask, yes we're seeing the star turning red; no, we're not sure what it's about."

Wells, glancing between the radio and the daemon, seemed to think for a moment before grabbing his own walkie talkie and setting it to channel 93. "This is lieutenant Wells of the militia. Come in news men" Wells said into it.

"The militia leader? That wasn't your guy I just yelled off the channel, was it?" Jeff's voice asked through it.

"I don't know, but that's not important right now. Listen to me, I know why the star has turned red" Wells stated.

"Oh really? Alright, I'll bite" Jeff's voice responded.

"On all our previous days here, even though there's no sun up there, the sky would turn orange as if to imitate a sunset before nighttime came. Today, with a central star and each planet having its own rotation, the sunrise and sunsets are meaningless; thus I believe, that as a measure of the passing of time, the star in the center is imitating the course of a star's typical life cycle at an extreme pace. In other words, it is turning red as today's equivalent of the false sunset of the previous days" Wells explained to the newscaster.

"Oh, uh... You know, that actually sounds kind of plausible. Thanks man! Do you have anything else to share?" Jeff's voice asked.

"Only that everyone should currently avoid the library, as it is extremely unsafe here" Wells added.

"What? Why's that?" Jeff's voice wanted to know.

"It's best if I don't say yet" Wells told him.

There was a bit of a wait, then on channel 94 and thus on the radio from the desk again, Jeff's voice could be heard from there now. "Okay, so I just got a call in that told us a couple of things. The militia has a really plausible sounding idea that the sun turning red is today's equivalent of the sunset. You know, since day and night really doesn't mean anything today so there's gotta be some other way to tell. So it just means that it's getting to be 'nighttime' folks; no need to worry about that. But something you maybe should worry about is rethinking your plans if you were gonna head to the library about now; the militia refused to tell me exactly what's going on there, but they did say that it's apparently really dangerous in there right now" Jeff's voice announced to those in the city who were listening.

Library - Worth a shot

"I understand, Miss Tairee" Curly said simply, attempting to be sympathetic despite her disappointment before turning to OFB with a much firmer tone "So you say, yet you've been standing there daring everyone to oppose you and risk breaking the rules. That sounds pretty disruptive to the Librarian's duties if you ask me"

The library

First the hunched figure told him not to go through with it. Then Eve started insisting he stop and think. Finally Miss Tairee was the one pleading for Ben to stop. Ben's hands shook, and pulling the axe away from his body, he let go of it, sniffling a little himself. "I'm... I'm sorry," he told Eve and Miss Tairee, still shaking slightly. He composed himself more.

"But I... I don't know what to do. And even if I do think of something, the ugly, ragged, dorky, sad excuse for a lesser demon is gonna hear every word I say," Ben responded. Out of the corner of his eye he glanced over at Old Feather Beak. "Him and his sad, pathetic little friends."

He curled up inside the bubble. "But I'm in here, and they're out there. And we can't fight him, not in Miss Tairee's library. And those idiots can't fight us either. They're probably not brave enough to defy Miss Tairee anyway..."

Eve|Library

Rex had come over and heard her comment, and asked for clarification.

"Suicidal stupidity and rampant overconfidence."

Ben had relaxed. And immediately started to taunt the Ruckus. Probably to deal with his own insecurity and feeling of helplessness. Still it wasn't like they could do anything to him while he was in there (and besides, she might actually take some joy from seeing one of them in a bubble).

"Ben, you don't know what to do now. That's why you need to think. So that you do know what to do."

Library

Jack pulled back when he felt Cole doing so, and mimicked him as he took stock of the current situation. Tairee was still giving the demon plenty of things that it would not doubt later use to hurt other people, as well as having Ben trapped in some kind of bubble. He glared at the scene, fists clenched, but he was powerless. Completely and totally powerless. His eyes widened, and he darted a hand into his hoodie pocket where it closed around cool metal. He'd forgotten about it, and while he couldn't use it without the librarian doing something to him again, the feel of it returned part of his courage. He also remembered the books as well, feeling them bump against his chest. He would definitely need to read them after this.

He glanced at Cole as he spoke. He was right, it wasn't safe here for them. With the demon here, they knew where it was and it couldn't touch them, but if it left first it could possibly for them and do something. And Jack didn't trust to be near Tairee anymore. He thought he'd misjudged the woman at first, but it was becoming clear that she wasn't the person she pretended to be. He shuddered at the gaping hole in him that was the absence of his powers. "Yeah, that sounds like a really good idea."

It was at that point, that Jack noticed the arrival of a certain familiar ghost. He smiled slightly, feeling comforted by the friendly face. "Hey Lewis, you could say that. We're... going to get out of hear soon. If you come with us, we can explain."

Everything blurred for a moment, and Jack froze in fear at Tairee possibly doing something else to make him suffer, but instead the spirit-turned-human found himself staring at a strange glowing pen thing. He grabbed it curiously, looking around to see everyone else had one. He eyed it suspiciously, knowing Tairee had given it to them. He hesitantly pocketed it.

He turned to look at Sans and Caro, trying not to frown at the former. "We need a way out of here. I have that," He pointed at where his solar surfer sat on the floor a short distance away, "and I think I could fit Cole on it. If you guys don't, uh, don't have a way off, you might need to ask her." He turned to glare briefly at Tairee.

Library - leaving

Plague Knight asking Yael a question made Sans stop to think for a moment, specifically about what were the long term goals of the demon for once the time in the city ended and the only thing that could come into mind tied in with Yael's goal perfectly, but it was also a little strange. He'd have to ask Tairee about it later when the demon wasn't around, just in case the answer he got from her ended up being bad.

All of sudden Sans was given something that looked like some kind of pen, it was apparently some shield generator, so whatever could help him stay alive was good enough, he grabbed it and left it in his pocket for convenience. At the same time, Jack and Cole began talking about leaving, the former directing his attention to the weird thing he was going to use to fly away.

"uh, i have a space ship. it's bigger and safer. i'm only really waiting to see who's interested in leaving," said Sans.

By the time Gon returned to the restaurant, Garrett had gotten up and had begun casually, if somewhat awkwardly strolling around the building. He considered briefly practicing his pick-pocket skills, but thought better of it. In these unfamiliar conditions, when everyone and everything were oddly light and floated at the slightest push, there'd be too much risk of botching the fickle fingerwork.

He didn't pay much attention to Gon right now, instead focused on the red sun that became visible just now. "Huh," he said to himself, his eyes narrowing a little. "What could this mean?..."

Just then the radio spoke up. "Hm? Something dangerous going on at the library?" He looked at Gon, head tilted, and a small smile on his face. "Looks like we made the right decision, choosing to spend the day here..."

Library - Is this a bad time to ask for that camera?

"Are you, now? Well, I suppose, if that's what you plan on doing," the ghost replied to Jack, a little too focused on the not-teen's hair. Said ghost was wary of admitting to being filled with bafflement, surprise, and...well it wasn't quite envy. He was about to approach them when suddenly the room blurred to reveal some sort of penlike object with a glowing blue center. The librarian could be heard explaining that these were "personal shield generators".

"How do they work?" he asked, holding it up.

Jack pointed out he had some sort of solar-powered glider he could leave with, to which Sans (funny, it looked like they'd end up having the same group from yesterday, that is if Curly ended up tagging along) countered that he had a ship, and that it'd probably be safer. Well, might as well carpool (shippool?). Someone else might need the extra ship. Hopefully not another vivisection team.

"I just want to take care of some things first, please," he asked, making his way to the desk and glancing around as he did this, noting the kid throwing a fit in a bubble in one cornernote , Curly taunting the birdbrain in another, and the hostile he set on fire yesterday next to said birdbrain (he eyed this one for a second).

Then, having reached the desk, he took a pen and quickly wrote something down on one of the note papers, took a moment to consider if he should add anything else, and gave it to the slightly less sobby Tairee with the computer.

"Penicillin? Only the rich could afford that," Plague Knight commented to Rex. He then noticed the pen like object in his hand. It was explained that it was personal shield generator. He pocketed the device.

The alchemist then turned his attention back to Yael. He then pondered a bit. "While I usually work in creating diseases and maladies, one of the major steps in their creation is to concoct a cure or an antidote for them, to make sure they do not go beyond my control. Perhaps.....I can help you. Maybe I can synthesize your condition into a tangible product, create a cure for it, and maybe it can be used to cure you.

"Surely that sounds to be a better alternate to relying on daemonic turkeys," the knight added, "especially if the God they serve have manipulation and betrayal as an aspect."

"That is a lie" Old Feather Beak said rather plainly to Curly, turning his eyes to her and tilting his head a little. "All I've done is enter and request things from the librarian. It is the rest of you who keep attempting to goad us into a fight with petty insults and such" the daemon pointed out, with a quick motion at Ben in the bubble, doing just that, "surely if the librarian agreed, she would have done something to me by now." Miss Tairee 2 looked to Curly and just slowly shook her head with a solemn expression; Old Feather Beak chuckled a bit.

Meanwhile, Miss Tairee 1 looked at the note Lewis gave her, sighed slightly, and started typing on her keyboard. "Sir, you're going to have to be more specific than that" Miss Tairee 1 told him, as a simple digital camera appeared in a blur on the desk.

Next to Old Feather beak, Yael was staring at Plague Knight for a few moments, then glanced down at his left hand, taking it off the gun's forward grip for a moment and spreading the palm out, as if to contemplate it. After a little bit of that, he turned his eyes to the side at Old Feather Beak, again as if to contemplate the daemon, and after a couple moments, narrowed them slightly. The daemon's chuckling halted as Yael started walking away from it, over to Plague Knight. The quarian stopped next to the knight and turned back at the daemon, his eyes looking steely and defiant; Old Feather Beak's beak couldn't scowl, but he did narrow his eyes to glare daggers back at the quarian.

Rick's Departed Depot of Developments, All of The Day, Bro
"Honestly, Morty," Seiga said as looked over at him, "I feel that kind of sensation every day or so. Ignore it, and it will pass." She patted Yoshika on the back, and pulled her along as they walked out. "If it's a pair of...wire-cutters...you want, I can do that. We'll be seeing you soon."

In the relative seclusion of this building's airlock, as they were putting on their helmets, Seiga asked her servant "Be frank with me, what do you think of those too?" Yoshika didn't take any time to respond, saying "I think they're kind of weird. They talk to each other a lot."

Then, Seiga realized something. "...Don't we talk to each other a lot, Yoshika? As we're doing right now?"

"Yeah but...uh. It's, uh...different for me and you. I don't know the word here," Yoshika said as she put her helmet back on. "They're odd, but I can't say talking to each other makes them that way. What's your deal with them?" Seiga asked.

"I don't know why you would think some old guy and his kid would be the kind of people you want in your group? All they did was talk to each other and talk about things nobody else would know," Yoshika said, the irony lost on her.

"...We'll talk about it at a later time. But first, the hardware store," Seiga said as she evacuated the airlock, and the both of them started to head out to the one thing that this City should have. If there was no such place, what kind of horrible place was this?

Cole looked on with some degree of curiosity at what was going on over at the desk. He didn't know what to make of it...he couldn't hear the thoughts of anyone involved, or feel any emotions, though his instincts said not to trust...whatever this was. The demon employed treachery and deceit, and there was no reason to think it wouldn't allow its minions to do the same.

He didn't bring voice to this, however, as certainly the others were going to realize that as well.

He looked back at Jack, then up at Ben, then at the demon, frowning a little, and abruptly the spirit-turned-human seemed to reach a decision, pulling away from his group and heading over to Miss Tairee's desk, not even slowing his stride even as he stood within near arm's reach of OFB, just focused on the nearest form of Tairee.

"I...I-I would like to ask for some things, if I could," he said, studiously avoiding looking at the nearby demon. "I know they misbehaved, but I would like to ask that Ben and Jack Frost be allowed to turn back into their normal selves on leaving the library, and for us to be allowed to leave here now, without risk of any of us following others who do not wish to be followed. If there is a way for you to do those things, please."

Then and only then did his gaze slip slightly to the side, looking at OFB, before looking right back at Tairee. "And I...I would like a rucksack from home. Holding a...a solid granite mortar and pestle, a dozen glass vials with corks, and...and as many spindleweed plants as will fit into the rest of the sack, please."

The Library — Like anyone would fall for that

This was great, the Ruckus now had a biological weapon. And Tairee was supposed to be good? Man, meeting the writer's assitants that were willing to do all this must be horrific.

"Great, because we didn't have enough to deal with before" At the sight of his new pen that was a shild generator according to Tairee, Rex knew they had something to work with "Huh, I guess that makes up for it. Barely"

As for Eve, she pointed out that Rex was also overconfindent on toip of being suicidally stupid. Great, first time meeting an EVO in this place and she thought he was going to get himself killed playing here. Ok, so she was onto something there but it still kinda hurt.

"I thought meeting someone like me would be fun but you are starting to sound like Six" and facing Ben, Rex said "Do me a favor and use the top-heavy guy when you get out of the bubble"

There was also some talk about the sun going supernova or something but there was enough going on in the library for Rex to pay much attention to it.

For example, Yael rationalized his actions as him wanting to save his species from the condition that made them wear those fancy suits 24/7.

Rex had already heard the 'My people need me to liberate them' excuse before so he wasn't going to back down because of it. Still, Yael's ultimate goal was noble but it didn't have to involve him or the demon to be achieved.

"That's really touching, dude. But I don't think your people need his kind of help"

Plague Knight continued with his reasoning. He was sort of an expert in this kind of thing and, as such, he could potentially help the quarians deal with their condition. Yael seemed to be accepting the offer but Rex gave a step back. He had already met double-crossers before, so he wasn't going to let anyone else pull a fast one on him and he had one of his robotic hands ready, just to show Yael that he really shouldn't mess with them.

Library

Plague Knight was first pleasantly surprised that Yael actually took him up on his offer, looking up at the Quarian as he walked next to the alchemist. The Knight then had a look of absolute victorious smugness directed at Old Feather Beak, mocking the demon for losing another member of his cult to the heroes. Both expression were completely obscured by the knight's mask, however.

"Now, let us return to my lab so we may begin work immediately," Plague Knight offered Yael. "Oh, and Miss Tairee? I request special security measures to be implemented around my laboratory, so it would only allow access to me and anyone else I deem worthy, while deterring all else."

Library - i wonder how many people are gonna fall for that

Surprisingly Plague Knight's words seemed to have affected Yael somewhat and the quarian apparently had a change of heart and decided to switch sides. Yeah no, that was totally a trap, that much was obvious, not for the medic himself though.

Cole then went off to ask Tairee to fix Jack and Ben. Out of the two of them he was most interested in Ben getting his powers back because without the watch that meant Sans was once again the only one that could fight the demon effectively, outside of maybe using those holy weapons Caro had asked for earlier but those didn't seem all that useful against a demon that could use telekinesis.

A thought came into Sans mind after some more standing around. It was something he probably wouldn't be able to ask Miss Tairee for but maybe he could bargain with the writer a little and see what would come out of it, all things considered that guy had the power to rebuild his whole world, so who knows what else he could get out of him as long as he was up to work for it. Worst case scenario, nothing happened, so it was worth a shot.

"i have something i gotta do real quick, i'll be back in a bit," said Sans to the group around him.

He then moved to the suggestion box and quickly began writing down a request and inserted it in the box before moving back to his group. He wasn't expecting to get a response anytime soon, but at least he could leave it there so he could get a reply next time he dropped by.
