Beach - circle of huggers

Caro and Cole wanted him to join them in their hug, of course. How many times has it been now that hugs have happened to him ever since yesterday? Six? Man, these people were really affectionate, granted some of those it was him who started but still.

"welp, here i come," said Sans, shruggging.

He then walked over to them and joined in on the hugging, he had gotten used to it by this point but it was still kinda funny how often he'd done it by now.

"y'all really like your hugs huh?" he commented, letting out a chuckle.

"...Apology accepted."

Sadness was near tears too, but she hid it a bit better, being well versed with that particular state of being. Still, her eyes were shinier than usual, and she had trouble speaking without letting her voice shake.

"I know what you did was all to help me, and while it did hurt a lot at the time, I guess...Z-Zelda, I don't hold anything against you. You're my friend, and when friends can disappear at a moment's notice in this place, well...there's no point leaving emotions unresolved, is there?"

And with that said, Sadness held out her hand.

The beach - Unwinding

Thankfully, Sans did join them. She had to admit that, at least physically, it felt kinda awkward. She was used to the sensation of hugging Sans by now, even if there were no shirt to cover most of his bones this time, but it was clear that Cole was just not very used to this sort of thing, although he seemed to be liking it regardless. But in the end, the sensation of well-being and warmth from it all, specially after managing to get through to Cole, easily won over all the rest

Caro had a warm yet somewhat sheepish smile as she said, "What can I say? It's nice and generally makes people feel better, so why not do it as much as we can if everyone involved is OK with it?"

She let them all enjoy the embrace for a few more moments before slowly and gently beginning to let go of it. Then she said to both of her friends, "Well, we really should go for now and find somewhere to spend the night. Anywhere decent could do as long as we're not outside when things change, but ... Well, the library would be better for the convience of knowing our location for sure and also for meeting up with everyone as soon as possible, but it's usually not very comfortable to sleep in. Alternatively, we could find one of those hotels. We probably would end up shifting around as we sleep, but it would be more comfortable and we could really use a good night of sleep before we have to face whatever it's that will be thrown at us tomorrow. We're in a beach and hotels that are right across from them are a thing in most such places, so it shouldn't be hard to find one closeby even in this city. And we have at least two ways of getting quickly back to the library in the morning, assuming the layout doesn't change too much like it did a few days ago ... So, what do you think we should do?"

Hugging people to make them feel better was something Cole understood pretty well. He'd seen it done amongst others many times. The Inquisitor had hugged Varric after the man's old friend had disappeared, Dorian had hugged the Iron Bull after he had left his tribe to save his friends (they had done more than that, Cole knew, but Dorian had made it clear to him he was absolutely not, never not ever, allowed to mention what they'd done on the War Table again).

Cole himself hadn't ever made much use of that though. Most of the time, his help was from the shadows, nudging others into a better direction, leaving them nice things to make them have happier memories, or setting up good scenarios for them. It was better that he kept his distance, that people didn't know he was there most of the time.

The last person to have hugged him...really, actually hugged him, had been Rhys, back at Adamant Fortress...

No, no. Don't go back there. Here was better.

Within a moment, Caro had drawn back a bit, and Cole took a moment to sit back on his heels before rising to his feet, looking around as Caro spoke of needing to find somewhere to stay as the day changed. He winced slightly at the mention of the library, rubbing at his arm a little.

"I...I'll go with you wherever you choose," he said softly, looking to one side, not making eye contact. "B-but if we go to the library I...I want to go upstairs and hide when we arrive. B-Brother Marcus is trapped there by Miss Tairee and I...I don't know if he'll hurt anyone else, but I...I don't want him to see me again, either."

Beach - that narrows it down

After the hug was done Caro reminded everyone that they needed to find a place to stay and judging from what Cole said, it sounded like the library wouldn't be the best place for them to stay in for the night.

"looks like we'll be getting a hotel then, good thing too because i kinda miss those beds," he said, shrugging and then shifting his focus to Caro, "plus a hotel would probably have a room for you to change in, so you don't need to go looking for a changing room right now. speaking of this..."

Sans then began using the dimensional box and took out his shirt from it, putting it on and then also withdrawing his hoodie from it and wearing it as well, going mostly back to his usual look. The first thing he did upon putting his hoodie back on was shoving his hands inside the pockets.

"much better. i don't think i'll be wearing anything without pockets for a good while now," he said, then beginning to walk ahead of them back towards the city before stopping and looking back at them, "c'mon, the sooner we get there the faster we can sleep"

One Last Thing

"My beak is completely sealed on the matter," Plague Knight said. However, before leaving the party proper, he decided to squeeze a bit more enjoyment out of it and see the effects of his soberity potion. He went over to a table where two persons sat, one some sort of humanoid cat creature and the other yet another reptilian like creature. The two were so out of it that it seemed their bodies decided to continue whatever discussion their were having without their brain, drinking from long empty glasses with unsalvagable residue of glowing colored powder.

Plague Knight poured a bit of his concoction into their drinks and see their reaction. When the cat person drank his drink, he did not seem affected. The lizard creature -

"What is......" he lizard man said, looking up in fear. "Oh no......." He sat up straight up. "No.....no.....no no no no nonononono NOOOO!!!!" He screamed in terror while shooting straight up, knocking over the table. "THE ALL CONSUMING SHADOW IS UPON US!! THE GODS HAVE FORSAKEN US OR EATEN ALREADY!!! THE BLOOD OF TRILLIONS WILL BE SPLIT TO FEED ITS UNENDING THIRST!!! THE END IS COMING, WE ARE ALL - " *WHAM*

The lizard man ran into a tree and fell over while he was screaming and running around.

A beat.

He bolted straight up, looked around completely confused, clearly no longer under the throes of intoxication. He then stood up and calmly walked away from the party, clearly embarrassed and checking to see if anyone noticed him.

"Apparently it has a stronger effect on reptilians," Plague Knight noted. "Come along, Q10," he said to the robot. "If I happen to see Yoshika on the way to the library, I shall direct her back here," he said to Seiga. With that, the knight finally managed to leave the party.

Beach -> Beachside Hotel - Checking in

After hearing what both Cole and Sans had to say, Caro firmly nodded her head and said, "Well, I guess that settles it then. Cole wouldn't be able to have a good night if he had to worry about that and besides, the only things anywhere near comfortable in the library are the couches and as far as I know, there only are those in the lobby. The upper floors are just filled with bookshelves, so he would have to sleep on the floor, which would be horrible. So yeah, let's find ourselves a hotel room then. Sans is right. If we go with that, I can even take a shower before changing in a washing room there, so let's go."

She then finally resumed with heading out of the beach. She just had to walk a little before, as she had predicted, they found a nice looking hotel right across the street from the beach. She went into the lobby and after politely waving to anyone else who happened to be there, went to the reception and quickly go the key to a room with three beds.

The room was on a low floor and she didn't know how Cole would react to an elevator, so she figured it was best to just take the stairs up there. Once they reached the room and then quickly found the designated room, she quickly opened it. She checked and saw that there was a washing room within with bedroom, so she turned to Sans and said, "OK, I should go take a shower and change now, so if you can give my clothes, I'll just get on with it. I'll get the rest of my stuff later."

Meanwhile, obviously not wanting to have anything to do with water if he could help it, Fried flew over to one of the beds and then curled over at the end of it.

Ara Haan (Cinema) - Conclusion

The boy Jack seemed to be somewhat nervous when he replied to Ara. He had trouble focusing his eyes on her, and at some point it did sound like he had lost track of what he intended to say for a brief moment. However, he did not seem to have that same problem when he talked to the others, and the fact that he was able to mantain most of his composure was truly impressive.

How intriguing...

Ara, in the meantime, was truly relieved that the Sandman was not actually dead, albeit part of the conversation between Jack and the librarian did remind her of some... unpleasant past events. So for a few minutes she paid little attention to the movie. At least, until the scene where the preparations for Easter began. It seemed to be a very unusual celebration, in which eggs with legs decorated themselves and headed to the surface from underground so that children would marvel at their colors. In all honesty, I had never seen such a display before. It was absolutely mesmerizing.

The rest of the movie was nothing short of impressive as well. Ara went through so many emotions in such a quick sucession that, by the time the show came to a conclusion, she was actually quite exhausted. It took her roughly a minute to realize that the movie had ended, and it took another half to finally calm down enough to talk.

"Wow..." she finally exclaimed, letting out a very deep sigh. "That was... it was just... I don't even know what to say..." Her eyes instinctively looked for Jack. "And all we just saw is actually part of your past?"

Beach Hotel - curfew

Sans merely followed Caro as she found a hotel and proceeded to do everything for them, instead of walking up the stairs Sans merely teleported his way to the upper floor and followed inside the room alongside them. Once inside, Caro asked for her clothes so Sans began accessing the dimensional box again and withdrew her robe from there.

"here ya go, exactly the way you gave it to me and 100% free of sand, that's the skeleton storage service, the business that can preserve a skeleton of things in absolute safety, hope ya continue to use our services, 'cause we work ourselves down to the bone" he jokingly said, trying to sound as much like some sort of ad guy from some kind of big company and giving Caro a little wink as he finished.

After that little bit of messing around was done and Caro had her robe with her, he returned to speaking on his usual tone of voice "anyways, i'll leave your amulet and phone on one of the bedside tables."

He then went to do just that, taking out the amulet and phone and placing it on the table next to the bed Fried was resting on and briefly sitting on one of the free beds and checking the other stuff that was there, one of them being the walkie-talkie. It would be a lot more convenient to just be able to use his phone as a walkie-talkie so he wouldn't have to carry both things around and so he wondered if he could make his phone get that signal as well, might as well try anyway, one last thing to do before sleeping.

Cole seemed more than content to follow Sans and Caro wherever they were going, though he chose to follow Caro up the stairs rather than try to tag along with Sans...whatever he did.

On getting into the room, Caro apparently had something she planned to do, and Sans gave her things while...talking in a way that had Cole tilting his head quizzically, just trying to figure out what it was about. It seemed as though the skeleton were making some sort of joke about it, though, which Cole noticed he did a lot of the time. It was probably the same way Varric covered up most things with silliness and sarcasm, always trying to raise the spirits (a pun the dwarf liked to make to Cole, in fact) of those around him.

Cole supposed if Varric were a skeleton instead of a dwarf, he'd be a lot like Sans. Vice versa if Sans were a dwarf. Either way, Cole had the short thought that it would have been nice to introduce the two to each other.

Aside from the whole part where most everyone back home would try to kill a skeleton on sight, of course. That would probably be unfortunate.

Caro went off to do something on her own, with the little dragon and Sans both picking a bed to settle on. Sans seemed to be messing around with some strange objects, so Cole figured he would leave the skeleton to it. Left to his own devices for the moment, Cole looked around the room, trying to decide what to do.

After a moment, wandering over to the window, taking hold of the curtains, and starting to shift it back and forth a few times, staring up at the rings holding it in place, appeared to be what he chose. The spirit looked out through the window, then shut the curtain, before opening it and looking again, then closing the curtain.

"Do you think we'll see it when the world changes?" he asked after the third repetition of this, glancing over to Sans.

Streets -> Beach - All's Well That Ends Well?

After Sadness finished speaking, Zelda didn't reply immediately. She looked away, and decided there wasn't any point trying to hold her tears back any longer. For the next couple moments, she just sobbed with the occasional sniffle thrown in. It looked as if Sadness simply wouldn't get a response, but eventually she managed to stammer out a reply.

"...I-I-I....I was s-so worried that p-people w-were g-going to j-judge m-me for w-what I did. That...that i-it'd be all I w-would be k-known for a-and I-I'd never b-b-be able to l-live it down.... B-but even b-before now, i-it d-didn't seem to b-be the c-case...."

She then turned back to Sadness, and managed a small, sad smile. "A-and... you're...y-you're not that k-kind of p-person, are you? E-even if y-you w-were the...victim." At that, she finally extended her own arm. "...S-sadness.... Thank you. It...i-it means a l-lot to me."

The sudden appearance of sand underneath their feet was enough for her to pay attention to her surroundings. They hadn't been going anywhere in particular other than "away from the library," so maybe it wasn't a surprise that they'd eventually find themselves at the beach. What was a surprise was how late it'd gotten; in fact, didn't the day usually change over by this hour?

Furthermore, seeing the beach was enough to remind her of how Sans, Caro, and herself were planning on visiting it. Unfortunately, it just wasn't meant to be. At least, not all of them together; it wouldn't surprise her if just Sans and Caro got to do something with it. So much for getting to experience it properly, but maybe she could at least take a walk around it before the day was over?

Seiga, Rick's Party, De-party-tures
"Then, thank you even further. I believe that's another favor I owe all of you, even if you could consider taking favors for keeping secrets as blackmail," she said to the group, looking a little bit happier. Plague Knight and his servant were quick to leave, the former mucking around with his potions, so if he felt like holding this against her he wasn't showing it.

"To you, Viola, I hope keeping secrets stays fun. You already have more dirt on me than the rest of the city combined, I believe. And I also must admit, you were right earlier. Parties like these are no place for me."

She surveyed the carnage that she had caused. There were still people laying on the ground after being trampled by the alien, destroyed equipment and broken glass from who knows what littering the scene. It was just about dead, and Seiga believed that even without her intervention everyone would've gone home by now. All she had done was provide a fitting and memorable end.

"I'm not going anywhere, as you well know," she said to Viola. "You're welcome to stay with me, but I understand if you must leave."

A new face, Redring, introduced himself. And asked if Twilight knew anyone willing to take care of a gerbil.

"Nice to meet you. My name is Twilight Sparkle. And no, I'm afraid I don't know anyone who would be willing to take care of it."

Twilight wanted to offer to help personally, but wasn't sure if she'd have time. She had a few abilities that others in the city didn't seem to, and wanted to be available at any time.

Ben then suggested that they develop a means of communication. Twilight did have knowledge of how to use a cellphone from her time in the human world, but...

Then again, the group fought a dragon about a week ago, and he was pretty dangerous. In fact, didn't most of the group burn up to a crisp when they fought him? From Rex's perspective, that was pretty traumatizing.

“Nope. That's what call members of an army back home. I think the name comes from the names of their primary battleships: Steel 2 and Dragon 3.”

Rex mentioned that he was going to do something with Lune's phone. She curiously handed it to him.

“Sure. What are you going to do?”

Hotel room - Washing up and winding down

Caro couldn't help get a rather amused expression as Sans did the impression of a rather excited salesman while giving her back her robes.

After giggling a bit, she decided to play along, attempting to sound more refined as she did a slight bow like Nanoha and Hayate usually did and then said, "Thank you, kind sir. I have no complaints with your services. I'm very satisfied and you got yourself a loyal customer. Although I'm afraid that since it was free of charge, your funds might go a bit bare bones after a while."

After getting her robes properly returned and Sans dropped his act, she also did so as she spoke in her normal, more excited tone, "Thank you, Sans. I shouldn't take long, so see you guys back in a few minutes."

She then went into the washing room. After taking her bathing suit off, she placed it on a metal hanger bar and her robes alongside it for now. She figured she could just leave the suit there afterwards, since it would probably vanish when the day changed like it suddenly appeared at the start of this one. Even if it didn't, it was not likely that she that she would get to use it again after today anyway.

After a few minutes of a nice, hot shower that made her feel even more relaxed, she dried herself and then put back her robes. Then she started to walk back into the room proper.

Viola I Beach (Rick's Party) I Party End

"I'll be taking my leave, then. It's been getting awfully late today, and I wouldn't want to be stuck like this when the next day comes by. If you'll excuse me," I politely bowed to Seiga before making my way back to-.

... Oh, I almost forgot. "Oh, and please, do give my regards to Yoshika. She's certainly worried sick by now and may be coming back to you soon with help. Quite a resourceful one, isn't she?" That little reminder done and with nothing else to do here, I left the party.

Closing time, one last call for alcohol

Parties are fairly hardy things, and this particular bash on the beach had withstood quite a few trials since its inception. Even so, the night had begun to stretch on; perhaps spirits had begun to slowly sink once more as its participants suddenly realized how alone they were in the multiverse, adrift in the quantum foam and at the whims of a mad sadist who could turn them all into banana fruitcake with a wink and a wiggle of his nose.

Or it might have just been because an alien on the loose had trampled most of the beverages.

Whatever the reason, there was a kind of unconscious telepathy among the thoroughly drunken party-goers that the party was dying down, and soon it would be time to stagger back out onto the streets, try and figure out what time it was, order a cab note , and flop onto the nearest available surface in a half-assed attempt to sleep off their poison of choice note  before sunrise.

"S....s...o." One of the green robots poured what little remained of the pink liquid into his open mouth, spilling most of it down the front of his chassis as he attempted to lean on a humanoid cat in a sundress. "Y...ou wanna go and head back to my recharge birth? I... I don't judge... you know, organic, mechanical, 's all th'same, really... I'm into some... freeeaky slag." He winked conspiratorially at his would-be suitor.

"Get bent, creep." The cat flicked a whisker at him and pushed him off, leaving him tottering in mid-air for a few farcical seconds before leaving him facedown on the sand, emitting a long, low note of profound loss.

"C'mon, 1453/3," said one of his compatriots, who had clearly sobered up in the interim. "Let's get you home," she murmured as gently as possible; the two of them lifted up their despairing compatriot by the armpits. There was a brief click of metal as the two merged into a larger robot, carrying the unconscious 1453/3 like a baby slung over the shoulder.

"Thanks for *urp* thanks for coming," called Rick, swaying a little unsteadily himself before reaching out for a handhold. Behind him, something that resembled a mobile shag rug slithered drunkenly off a table and up into the nearest palm tree. A few humans stumbled into the night, singing a slurred chorus of off-key drinking songs. Humans varied wildly across the multiverse, but it was a known fact that 98.5 percent of all human civilization had invented drinking songs at least two days after discovering the properties of fermented grain. note

Even the irascible bladderhorn seemed to have calmed down a bit; it staggered listlessly along the beach, dazedly tasting the water with its proboscis every so often but not finding the sweet water to its liking. Weakly, it flared its bladders, biolights faintly glowing as. The blue extraterrestrial kicked out a little groove in the sand as it settled down and slid into sleep, like an unhappy bird at rest. Its legs kicked forlornly as it dreamt of deep mountain ravines, and a chorus of reassuring pings echoing across a waving fields of fungus.

"I... I jus' wanna go home," slurred a man from across the beach, making a game attempt to try and reach the nearest bed that mostly amounted to "stumbling aimlessly across the beach". "I jus'... I jus' wanna see my wife again."

"I mean, uh, I'm sorry about that but there's not much I can do, okay?" Morty had picked his way across the debris of the party, taking care not to upset the slumbering blue behemoth off in the corner. Rick had stalked off into the shadows a few seconds after bidding the last of the party-goers adieu. Plague Knight had already departed with his robot, some of the girls had already gone... it was sort of peaceful, really.

"Rick?" called Morty, not wanting to be caught out alone in case the day abruptly changed and something horrible turned the corner. "Hey, uh, Rick, you there?" he asked as he turned the corner - and wailed in disgust and embarrassment as he walked into a pair of amorphous creatures doing something indescribable and unspeakable.

"Sorry! Sorrysorrysorrysorry... geez." Morty walked back through the dark, ever-shifting streets of the city - lit here and there by the odd gas fire caused by a particularly rowdy gang of post-party drunks, occasionally calling out Rick's name and sincerely hoping that he wouldn't get jumped by a ghost monster or Old Feather Beak or whatever as he headed back to the retrofitted apartment that was apparently home now.

Ten days, and for some reason it felt as though he'd been stuck in here for months. Morty sighed as he tried to weigh out his options. Rick seemed mostly concerned with playing along until the time was right to do something, exactly what that was remained to be seen. Some of the other people though seemed to be getting proactive about doing stuff in the city, but they didn't seem to be organized any more efficiently than his grandpa. Nobody seemed to have a clue about anything here except Miss Tairee, and, yeah, she was... well - Morty shoved those thoughts to the back of his mind, yeah, she was, but the fact of the matter was that she was also working for an asshole, and by extension she was also kind of an asshole, even if she was- well, enough of that.

Rick always seemed to be ahead of the game, though. Even when things were going to hell it was clear that Rick was capable of improvising something on the fly. Hpoefully by this point he'd come up with six and a half plans to get out of the city. Morty sighed, leaned against the nearest wall, listened to the sound of the last desparate pockets of revelry, and hoped for the best.

Miss Tairee sighed with slight irritation as Lewis' hair set his chair on fire. "we're going to have to make this place self repairing and self cleaning" Miss Tairee muttered to herself, then glanced at Lewis and added after a slight pause, "... and fireproof."

"I-I don't know. That's... would the Man in the Moon do something like that?" Jack had said. It was clear the question wasn't really directed at Miss Tairee or really anyone besides himself, but she felt like commenting anyway. "As one person given seemingly impossible powers by a higher entity to another, I'm confident in saying that the Man on the Moon is certainly capable of mistakes. Besides, I highly doubt that Pitch becoming evil was his intention" Miss Tairee said to Jack.

After Jack's comment about Jesus, Miss Tairee blinked a few times. "Oh. Why yes it would be like that in your universe wouldn't it? Well, then in that case it's not quite the same Jesus" Miss Tairee commented idly, looking back at the screen for a moment. "That still doesn't quite answer my question about Easter though..."

Back in the movie, the appearance of the Easter Bunny as a much more regular bunny did get a quick giggle from Miss Tairee. "My, he is cute like that."

As the movie rolled on and the climactic final battle rolled on, Miss Tairee didn't comment much, or even seem to watch much, until the Boogeyman's eventual defeat, upon which point she quietly stated, "yeah that's about how I thought it would go down." Then as the movie wrapped up, she finished up the work on Ben's drawing and then got up once it had ended.

Before actually walking out of the theater though, she paused and thought for a moment. "You know Jack, your movie gives me a good idea. One that I think my boss will let me actually do today, given the day" Miss Tairee told the winter guardian, "but first, I have to take care of something else." And with that she walked out of the cinema, her holographic screen brightening back up to normal as she hit a few keys on it and had her glasses reappear in a blur. After putting them on and continuing to type on the holographic keyboard, she started talking out loud to apparently nobody again...

((OOC:Anyone in the cinema can feel free to follow her.))

Library

"Nobody else has wanted to take care of it yet either" Sir Redring said with a slight sigh. "But, I'll just have to keep looking harder!" he added with his usual bluster of confidence.

The sign at the central desks blurred, then changed to how it had been for the rest of the day. "Alright, last call for assistance from the librarian; I have to get going soon" Miss Tairee's voice said from the center of the desks. "Ben, I finished your poster" she then added, as a new version of the poster appeared on the desk with a blur; it was now done in an art style very much like that of J. Howard Miller.

"Is this all you want it to say, though? Maybe designate a place to meet up?" Miss Tairee's voice asked Ben.

As he heard the voice, Sir Redring perked up a bit and looked at the desks. though confused for a moment that she wasn't actually there, Sir Redring then asked, "miss Librarian, a quick question if you don't mind; would you know of anyone in the city willing to care for this small creature?"

There was a few moments of pause, then the librarian's voice responded, "there is a young man named Cole; large hat shaped like a hut, very strange behavior, you can't miss him. He had the gerbil before you and seemed willing to take care of it, he just lost it during the previous day's events... Of course, it also comes from the same universe as somebody else already in the city..."

Hotel Room - in need of equipment

Sans observed what Cole was doing with some degree of interest as the kid really acted like some sort of three years old who knew nothing about anything and got distracted by the simplest of things. Watching what he was doing made Sans think how a life where anything as simple as shifting curtains back and forth could be considered a good way to pass time must be an interesting one, although Cole also had more than his fair share of issues to work with.

"well, the city already looks really different from usual so even if tomorrow is a 'normal' day we should be able to see the city at least going back to normal and not having a huge beach surrounding it," said Sans, shrugging.

Sans looked at Caro as she came out of the washing room in her robes, she had played along with him earlier so he decided to prolong the gag a little bit.

"y'know, if you really want to keep the service going you could make donations, though back in my world we use gold as currency, which, y'know, is pretty fair, our business is gold" he further joked, before deciding to lay in bed for a while, "although what i really need right now is some tools, i forgot to pack my things for this vacation, i didn't have the insight to prepare myself by bringing a toolbox with me in case i got kidnapped to a magic city floating in the void after almost being killed by a kid," he casually said, shrugging.

"Could we go to the library and ask for-?" Cole started to say automatically, still playing with the curtain, before it seemed he abruptly remembered why the library might not be the best idea, making a face, turning to see where Caro had come from. He wandered over in that direction, peering into the room she'd left, looking around a moment before wandering into the bathroom himself.

"What is this room for? Is it a changing room? What is this?"

The sound of the sink cranking on full blast carried into the bedroom, even as Cole made a slightly unnerved sound, audibly recoiling from it.

The Beach

Lune explained that the Steel Dragons weren't actual dragons but some sort of army from her world that was apparently named after two of their ships.

"I can't blame them. It's a better name than Providence"

Lune handed Rex her cellphone and he took out his communicator. The EVO used his nanites to control the cellphone and made it so it could communicate with the handheld transceivers.

"There, now it should receive the signal from the walkie-talkies. I also took the liberty to add my number to your contact list"

Rex handed Lune her cellphone again. The whole thing about the walkie-talkie made him remember about the list of problems he had to deal with and it was pretty late now, so the transition was close and Rex didn't want to get caught off-guard by it.

"We should probably get going. We have ghosts to catch and demons to kill" He already looked tired just by thinking about it "I'm really not looking forward to it"

The library

Ben grinned at the copy of the poster that Miss Tairee had showed him. "That's awesome!" Ben told her. "Yeah, I guess that makes sense to have a place to meet up. I'd say here at the Library but I dunno if that'd get too loud. And I don't really have any other place for them to meet up, one that won't keep shifting around at any rate. I don't know what they're gonna look like either."

Ben shrugged. "I think meeting up at the Library is the safest bet but if you'd rather not, sure, I can think of somewhere else."

Hotel room - Child parent

As Sans continued the gag from earlier, Caro giggled one more bit before responding, again trying but probably failing to sound more serious, "Well, my world doesn't have a physical currency, I don't have any with me and I don't know how much it would worth anyway, so you will have to give me some credit and I'll find some way to compensate you for your trouble later," then again switching back to normal, "Well, you would to have to able to do proprechies like the head of the Saint Church back home apparently can, to be able to plan for any of that. But in anycase, if things are not too hectic in the next few days, we could try to find a hardware store and get you some tools. Though, is it anything specific you need to fix or just preparation in general?"

At some point while they were talking, Cole seemed have gotten to the washing room, because she heard both the sound of a lot of water flowing and him panicking from there. He couldn't come to any physical harm unless the day changed, although that was drawing close, but it was best to check what had happened and see if he was OK.

Upon entering, she saw that the sink that been turned full on and she moved to turn it off before that flooded the room. While at it, she sensed that it was really hot, so it was thankful that no one could hurt and thus couldn't get burnt from the heat.

Once that was taken care of, she turned to Cole and remembering how scared he had sounded, she spoke reassuringly, "It's OK, Cole. That's just a sink. You cam use that to wash your hands and face and such. And this is what is called a washing room or bathroom. People do get changed in them, but they also take baths, like I just did in that shower," she gestured towards the glass box where the shower was located. Before, she had been thinking about suggesting that he should take a shower too, but given his reaction to the sink, it was probably best not to try that yet.

She attempted to lead him out of the bathroom and back into the bedroom, "Now, come on. Tomorrow will probably be a long and difficult day, so we should try to rest as much as we can."

Library

"Well... It could work, but you'd have to keep from disrupting my duties; and that includes bothering any of the other patrons. I think it would be better if you tried to get set up somewhere else" Miss Tairee's voice admitted to Ben.

"The balconies don't move; when they're there, anyway. So you could use one of those as a place to meet up, and claim an empty building to use as your home and base. Oh, but you'll want to mark it in case it gets changed by a day so you can still find it, which means you should probably come up with a symbol for your group" Miss Tairee's voice went on; she seemed to be rambling a bit at this point.

Hotel Room - let the child lead

"i just wanted to be able to mod my phone so that i could make it work both as a phone and as a walkie-talkie so that i don't have to carry both things around, it shouldn't take more than half a hour to do if i get everything i need," said Sans, still lying down on the bed

He then heard Cole's struggles with what sounded like the sink, but he just let Caro take care of that issue for him since she probably would handle it better than he would anyway. As she took care of the situation, Sans remembered to take his slippers off the dimensional box and dropped them on the floor next to him. Not too long afterwards he got out of bed and put those on.

"y'know, i might see if i find anything hidden around this place and come back later, otherwise i'll just have to improvise, be back soon."

He then headed out to the door.
