Before he could speak up, Lena was already there busy bumping into the two of them.

"...er, hello there." He chuckled as he brought down his girlfriend to a sit so they could accompany Yan. "Having fun, you two?"

Tempestas 29

Carol laughed. "Please, just you and Chris being here today is enough for me...but if you really want me to have fun, you're going to have to tell me a lot of stories about your girlfriend here."

Elaine paused a bit at Halle's question. She looked thoughtful.

"Honestly, I wouldn't care. Men can walk around topless right? Why can't I? Besides, it's not like I have anything to hide." She winked at Halle.

As Johann began explaining, Elaine snorted, a slightly bitter expression on her face.

"Hmm. Yeah, she hasn't changed at all, has she? Please...responsibility? Hmmph."

She looked lost in her own thoughts for a minute.

"....Leader, huh?"

Elaine shrugged. "I guess I can see it. Better you than me, anyway."

Lena shrugged. "I blew up the dorm. I dunno if I'm having fun, but probably not."

A smile at Yan. "Yo. You're back. What's up?"

"Sure Mom!" Morgan said, perking up a bit more. "Hey Iris, should we tell her about our first date?"

Raggy frowned a little before hugging her. "Not your fault. 'twas an accident, right?" He reassured with a smile.

Turning back to Yan he smiled again. "So... what made you return to Beacon?"

Tempestas 29

The sounds of conversation filtered through Yan's ears, drowned out by his own thoughts and his preoccupation with the wall. Only when Lena knocked him over did he briefly snap out of his reverie, and he fell flat onto the rug.

He didn't bother getting up and just lay down, staring at the ceiling this time and reacting very little to anything around him, though he did blush slightly when he heard Elaine loudly proclaim she would willingly go topless.

After a while, he sat up, rubbing the back of his head, and spoke.

"I miss Ulls and Mei," he blurted out, as if coming to his own realization. He looked between Lena and Raggy. "You know, that's a good question. What made me return to Beacon? Do I even belong here?"

The Fireplace

Wishing Halle luck, Samuel continued to sit by the fire for a moment. He wiped some sweat off his brow - at least he'd dodged hanging himself all the way. No doubt this would make him look very bad.

He eventually decided to go talk to Johann. Getting out of the chair was absolute hell, but once he'd left its comfort everything else was easy as he idly strolled over to his former leader.

"Hey, Johann. How's your life?"

Tempestas 29th

"S-sure.", Iris simply replied, glad that Morgan was happy again.

"Part of me really wanted to just tear your top off, no words, only action." Halle said, carefully folding her chest back up. She zoomed in on Elaine's chest, briefly; she was certainly right. She probably wouldn't get any results.

"And at least you have parents to worry about you. Father has a complex about upsetting anyone he gets too close to. He doesn't want anyone to even think he's trying to boss them around, or that he's acting like a creep. The thing is, he also feels super lonely all the time." Halle clenched her hands. "Which might be why he made me, or something. But then he lets me go, so that's odd. Depressing, honestly."

"Alright!" Morgan said. "So. It was Lover's day, and I had asked Iris out on a date to the festival. We had an awesome time that day — even though she managed to get paler than Dad from the roller coaster."

Party Time

"I don't really have much external plating to polish, but I do have hair to take care of, jets to clean out, various things that mix the concerns of both humans and machines" She replied to Halle, before looking to Amy, "Not much really, I just heard Halle and Sam talking and thought I would come see what was going on myself", she continued, occasionally glancing at Carol... looking down a bit when she was done.

Fight

Once she reached the roof, Suzune drove her hands through it to stick there, and called out to the people below her, "Ehhh, probably won't do much, but while I am up here do you think we should see if that fancy chair of his is water proof?"

"Glad to see you Sissy." said Amethyst. "Hmm... Wondering what we should do here." she said looking around the room. "Eh. We could just talk." she said.

Tempestas 29 Party

Johann sighed and scratched his hair, showing a thin smile.

"No, and I doubt she ever will, that's just aunt Alice, also, Ellaine, don't freakin' do that please, I know it's a lot to ask but don't go topless here" He said and had a very deadpan expression on his face.

"Also what are you talking about? "I can see it I guess"? I am a great leader!" He said and chuckled. "Anyway it's good to see you again cousin" The prince said before being approached by Sam.

"Well... Kind of shitty, I'm turned from team to team, then the dorm blew up apparently because of me just because the equipment is mine, my previous partner returned after being gone for a while finally but now he's..." He said and sighed, looking down at the floor. "Let's just say I have a small headache. Especially because of the bomb thing. Everything is just kind of trying to get me at once and it's a bit annoying. Speaking of a partner... I should probably check on him. I didn't speak to him yet"

LET'S PARTY

Samuel listened to Johann as he talked about his issues. Poor guy had been through a lot in the past few days. "Yeah, the restructuring fucked everyone up. Sorry to hear you're getting wrongfully framed. I mean, I guess I can understand why they're thinking that, but still, must suck big-time."

"At least you'll do better talking to your partner than I did to mine," he added.

"You'll do fine." Halle said to Sam, shifting slightly to look at him. "What I've noticed is that it's less important what the leader does, more important that the leadership figure is around. I feel the monarchy of Vale isn't that big of a deal because it doesn't really flex its muscles much, and we're better off with than without one, because the presence of leadership. The possibility of an iron fist keeps people from doing stupid crap." She pointed to Scarlet. "I suspect a similar effect on a smaller scale is how Scarlet keeps Marvin in line, or how the Jades don't burn the house down, despite 22 kids, as long as Mom is somewhere nearby."

Party Party Party

Samuel turned to regard Halle. This time, at least, he didn't seem to be acting disrespectfully. "So you believe that a leader is more made so by their presence, as once they've established themselves, they don't need to do much else for people to respect them. That right?"

Violet thinks for a moment, shutting up. "Well, I personally don't believe him. If they were a force of negativity, and we were their opposite, then why are there humans who seem to be so devoted to negativity? I mean, you don't see any Grimm questioning whether they should be fighting humans, yet you see humans kill other humans all the time."

Party

"El, I'd love it if you didn't harass my friends." He said with a shake of his head. "And Halle, I have twenty three siblings, actually." He corrected.

Party

Dia then gave Violet a whisper in her ear with a concerned look on her face. _{"That's why he believes that evil humans are no better than the Grimm... and it's ok to hunt them like the Grimm..."}

She then saw her team leader. He really didn't look like he was feeling well, alone like that, so she decided to talk with him. "James, are you alright?"

"So you don't disagree that Scarlet keeps you in line, then." Halle said, pointing to Marvin. Victory. "I do assent that yes, 23 siblings is correct. And I also assent to you, Sam." She swiveled her arm around to point at Sam as well in an arc normal human arms couldn't make. "Once a leader establishes their legitimacy, only particularly risk-loving people will challenge it."

She swiveled her arm back to Marvin. Eyes. Prizes. "Marvin, you hit on people despite Scarlet keeping you in line, because of the risk involved. You derive pleasure from that tension, I suspect. Which is why I also suspect that Scarlet..." She twitched her arm slightly to also point at Scarlet. "You may be making it worse. I might suggest easing off on maintenance on your boy here for awhile to see what happens. Testing a hypothesis, much like I am right now."

Party

"Yeah see, I didn't want to comment on that because of how untrue it is." He said with a sigh. "Scarlet doesn't control who I get to bed with. And to prove it, I'll show you. Let's go." he grinned before grabbing Halle's arm and dragging her away.

Party

"Makes sense, yeah. I'm not gonna worry about my status too much, though."

Samuel paused to consider himself. "Or, well... try to, anyways."

"Shit, I thought that'd take way longer." Halle eagerly followed Marvin. "You know, I was thinking this wouldn't work. That I'd be the exception that disproves the rule. You don't disprove my assumption, though, because you love risk." She clamped down on his hand. "Don't worry, I came fully loaded. You're lucky that Elaine missed a few switches."

"Well I definitely don't want to be contrary." Amy said looking at Sam. "But sometimes everyone's got lapses in judgement, biases of their own. I think there are cases where there should be discussions at least."

Party

Scarlet shot an annoyed glance after Marvin and Halle. "Honestly, he isn't even doing it because he actually wants to. He's just doing it to prove a point, which is pointless anyway." The biker grumbled to herself. Then the red head shrugged and turned, strutting towards the food table. Scarlet gave Elaine a saucy wink, not having missed the other girl checking her out earlier.

No reason not to enjoy myself, right?

Party

James would hear the sounds of boot clad feet approaching him as a familiar blue haired cat faunus walked away from her recent conquest of the horrible music. "What are you doing here looking all mopey for huh?" She said with a smile, and a look of care on her face.
