That's a funny coincidence considering this very thread brainstormed some pitches for a "Marvel Super Hero Girls" series ages ago.
- BigK1337's pitch
- TargetmasterJoe's pitch
- cmarston1's pitch
- DeathsApprentice's pitch
- My own pitch for villains
- Sunchet's pitch
Though that fact that she could have possibly pitched a "Kitty Pryde and The New Mutants" series is even better!
Someone looked at an Australian schedule. The season 1 finale is a 2 parter airing on October 24. It's called "Fresh Princess Of Ren Faire".
"Ember has princess on her menu. Can the girls outwit the dragon and show her what princesses can really do?"
That's odd. I thought we saw 50 episodes, meaning that there are 2 episodes left but we still haven't seen the one with Batman.
Season 1 is said to have 52 eleven minute episodes, much like the more recent DC series like Teen Titans Go! and Justice League Action . This is no surprise. Also, that sneak peek from September 12 was for season 2, meaning that's when the main characters formally meet Batman.

Oooh thats gonna be interesting.
Also I saw the Hawkman episode. Great stuff, prolly my personal favorite out of the ones I've seen.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."But doesn't that princess thing counts as 2 episodes? 50 already aired, should be 2 more , but we have Batman and a two-parter. Doesn't add up to me.
Batman is either in the 2 parter, or his big appearance is in season 2.
Thoughts on some of the most recent episodes:
- #HousePest was funny, and I liked the ending where Julia lets Diana stay. It was oddly heartfelt.
- I can't really say I liked #ItsComplicated very much. The Dex-Starr appearance made me bust a gut, though. (This was actually the first episode I watched due to the DVR not recording the episode with an episode number...)
- #TheBirdAndTheBee was also fairly good, mainly due to Karen and Carter's comedic chemistry. I won't comment very much on the fate angle between Shayera and Carter (even if I am familiar with that being from the comics) due to not being a big fan of fate as a plot device, though liked the Bittersweet Ending regardless.
- I liked #FantasticBeastsAndHowToMindThem for the most part, even if it is kind of a stock "can't keep control of their pet" episode. I kept expecting them to reveal Steve is a female Griffon due to their eyelashes.
I was entertained by three out of four of these.
A pity that DC and Marvel won't ever do any more crossovers. A Marvel Superhero Girls Academy vs. DC Superhero Girls Academy rivalship story would be one of the greatest things ever commited to animation.
A Marvel and DC crossover has never been done in animation. That would be cool.
That would be pretty dope indeed.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I'm guessing this came on during a commercial break. In any case, someone recorded a commercial snippet of the Teen Titans Go/DC Superhero Girls crossover.

That doesnt sound like Kimberly brooks....
As long as the Titans don't humiliate the Girls in another attempt to take a shot at another property, I'll be fine with this. I imagine they won't go there towards a show with an all female main cast so that's fine.
My only complain with the clip is the Girls just seem copypasted onto the short, visually speaking— former crossovers with Go have handled the clashing visual styles better than this.
Considering that's not how the Scooby-Doo and PPG crossovers went, we don't really have much to worry about. It'll be a paint-by numbers "Titans are bad at everything" episode.
... there was a crossover with Scooby Doo?
Edit: I mean, a remember one in the Scooby Team-Up comics, but not in animation.

Yeah, it used the exact Family Feud format this one did. This is basically a sequel to that.
That Bumblebee voice sounds a bit like a deeper voiced Jessica Cruz. Maybe Myrna Velasco voiced her?

Apparently, "Superhero Feud" is now available on iTunes.
Bumblbee's voice was weird, but the credits confirmed it was Kimberly Brooks doing the voice.

Here's some news from Rollin Bishop (the editor at Comic Book.com). "Superhero Feud" (the crossover with Teen Titans Go) will air December 20 at 9:00 am. "Fresh Princess Of Ren Faire" will be shown December 27 at 11:00 am.... airing after some other countries aired it.

I will warn you, I feel that "Fresh Princess Of Ren Faire" is way weaker than the other 2-parters this show did.
I think it's pretty good. If anyone wanted to talk about it, could could it be done in spoilers?

It's a good episode, just not a meaty one. Not sure why this was a two-parter at all, really. This seems very small scale.
So, here's something interesting. Lauren mentioned how she based her version of the series on a cartoon she tried pitching to Marvel over 15 years ago.
