Saw RageCat, disappointed none of the Red Lanterns came to "adopt" Dexter at the end.
‘My ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.’Didn't expected eggs episodes to be one of the best.
It's such a a tired trope that even this very show made like 3 shorts about it, there was maybe 40 second of superhero time and there was no Egg Fu, so episode was bound to be be disappointing.
But using Lots And Lots Of Characters plus short episode format equals crazy story pace and Rapid-Fire Comedy. It was great.
That #RageCat didn't end like that surprised me too.
Just saw #Dramaqueen. Not gonna lie, Cavalier was the last guy I expected in this series. Green Arrow was great, too.
I enjoyed this batch of episodes.
Drama Queen's villain must be the most obscure character they've used yet.
So, do the showrunners just not like Superman? Because that's the only logical explanation for why they portray him almost exclusively as an asshole. I'm aware that he's not the main character, but there's a thin line between having Superman be a boy scout versus making him a selfish douche.
I think it's a carryover from Lauren's take on Superman from Super Best Friends Forever , though I guess there wasn't much complaint there since he only appeared in 1 short for a few seconds.
I usually hate Barry Allen but this incarnation of him is adorable (and without being a Wally ripoff).
I can't tell if several characters should be listed as Adaptation Name Change or Only Known by Their Nickname. The teacher in #ScrambledEggs calls Harley and Barbara by their full names but uses "Hal", "Pam", and "Barry".
Superman in SBFF didn't seem mean to me.

He wasn't exactly mean, but he was strict in that short. I'm guessing Lauren just exaggerated that strictness for here and gave him more of an ego .
It stands out more here because he comes off less as an overprotective sibling and more as a dick.
Didn't notice that, but I wouldn't be surprised if Hal got himself signed under that name instead of "Harold".
Not a fan of this incarnation, but the text bit in Power Surge made me chuckle.
‘My ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.’I wish they went with something similar to the SBFF version with Superman, since it feels like they'd get more mileage out of that joke than "Superasshole".
I have a question. Have there ever been comic stories or video games where Superman became evil permanently, or at least a very long time? Maybe the series is building to that by making him more of a jerk here. I know it's a stretch, but it's interesting.
On another note, I saw my schedule. The show reclaims the 4pm slot on Sundays.

Just the Injustice series, but the evil Superman thing is generally used pretty stupidly and isn't really interesting. Besides, that involved a setting not existent here and is too dark for them to be something used here.

Wake me up at your own risk.Aren't they just going for Superdickery, like the trope?
I think Lauren and everyone on the show is trying to prove a point that the male heroes(some of them) are just assholes. No need to explain why Harley wanted to kill Robin now do I?
Which begs to question what is the point of such an action?
Like okay the guys are assholes? Is it a lead to something more or is it just watching your favorite characters being pricks for no reasons?
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Maybe to show the fact that some female superheroes(like Supergirl) don't get much respect as they should?
They're mildly jerky for humorous effect. Like Superman texting Kara if she was dead.
The girls aren't always better in some cases, like in #HateTriangle and #SuperWho.
At this point it's just the brand of humor they're going for, and honestly while it's annoying to some degree it's been overall enjoyable to me. Supes isn't that bad IMO.

‘My ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.’Supergirl had a bit of a justifiable reason though, she was sick of her cousin hogging the spotlight. And who the hell would be that much of a dick to break up through txting?
When the girl your trying to break up with is a complete & total psychopath.
The fact Hal froze up to the point he couldn’t even use his ring speaks volumes of how evil Carol is.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."

Here's another UK short, Flash Forward Flashback, where Barry Allen tries getting to school on time.
