What character has traits most similar to Baaaaaatman? Yeah, that's right. I just asked you who is most like Batman.

  • Roger Smith (black suit and color scheme, rich, philanthropist, lives a sort of secret life, suffers from a memory-related crisis)
  • Piccolo (tall, brooding, the Technician to Goku's performer, has a cape, trained for years in isolation to avenge his parent, is feared and respected among his cohorts)
  • L (uses Sherlock Scan, solves crimes, has an English butler, faces off against a symbolical opposite - a foil, a large part of his character development is about getting local law enforcement to trust him, develops a largely overexaggerated "respect" or "friendship" with his enemy, appears to dislike the use of guns)
  • Conan Edogawa (doesn't have any superpowers, uses gadgets and forensic analysis to solve crimes, has a secret identity)
  • Vash the Stampede (plus: has a no-kill policy, minus: uses guns frequently)

Any others I'm not thinking of, or any that fit Batman more closely?

Batman is the most Batman-like anime character.

Homura gets this comparison a lot. Black hair that's practically a cape, mysterious and broody, keeps appearing out of nowhere, uses conventional weapons instead of spewing magic like everyone else.

Seconding Homura, as Kotomikun said she's dark and mysterious and uses very little actual magic compared to her counterparts. Plus she's know for being able to make extremely complex plans, just look at her fight against Walgreens Night in Episode 11. She's also motivated by the loss of a loved one (although "loved" means something a bit different here).

The fact that she lost that fight is irrelevant
