[up] She does that in the More More More trailer too; otherwise normal humans with superhuman jumps and durability are pretty common in kids' cartoons. If Suna can solo a Robot Master with a pipe and is much smarter than her brother it kinda makes me wonder why Aki is the hero. XD

Since Chaotique knows Aki's identity I think the final arc will be kicked into motion when she sells it to Sgt. Night or Namagem.

Did you think Air Man's siblings might be Wind Man, Tengu Man, or Tornado Man?

NOPE! They're Mary Flair the movie director, Volt Aire the environmentalist, and Captain Dare the stunt pilot. They looked down on Air Man for not having a real goal, so he sabotaged their projects to show them HE was the best. Mega Man wanted him to patch things up between them, but he refused, and they went back to whatever they were doing.

This show is so weird XD

EDIT: New episode titles/summaries! Just 7 more episodes until the end.

“Flower Power” Mega Man must battle Wood Man for the fate of the Corpse Flower, a rare and noxious bloom that’s stinking up all of Silicon City.

“Enemy of my Enemy” When a grudge match between Fire Man and Namagem threatens to level Silicon City, Mega Man must intervene and ultimately choose a side to prevent collateral damage.

“Old School” Mega Man must stop Chaotique from making Silicon Central disappear, as in literally erasing the school at a subatomic level, while learning life lessons from a rambling old-bot named Hal.

“This Is Not a Drill” Mega Man and Dr. Light must set aside a father-son disagreement to stop Drill Man from taking revenge on his own overbearing father.

I wonder if last episodes will finally explain what's Mega Man's origin anyway, because as far as i can tell, we still have no clue whatsoever.

My guess is that Aki himself is the Mega Key solely because of the Aki = a key pun.

I love that general consensus seems to be that Mega Man will himself be the Mega Key.

I blame the familiar execution.

Maybe there would be a twist and it would be Mini?

Anyway, I liked Elecman in the latest episode, because he was smart enough to see an opening and took advantage of it. Though the news thing was really kinda pointless with the missed opportunity.

Don't forget, after Sunday's episode the rest air for four subsequent days at noon.

EDIT: Man, it is painfully obvious that Aki is the Mega Key by how many villains have tried and failed to find it.

Gauntlet Part 2 preview

Aki didn't react much when Mega Mini suggested he'd ask the bad guy out.

Is Aki/Mega Man bi?

Given his Idiot Hero status I think Aki just doesn't pay attention to Mini much. (That line barely makes sense in context to 'two birds one stone.')

It only took what, 51 episodes? XD The only thing that surprised me about this finale was Blasto Woman's Heel–Face Turn.

According to Wikipedia, the episode with the highest ratings was "Minus Mini" and the lowest ratings was "Hide and Secrets."

If there's a season two, I wonder if Namagem will get a little guy to live in his head too.

[up] Nah, I doubt he'd want a voice in his head speaking to him all the time.

Speaking of Namagem, despite everything he's done, I feel kinda sorry for the guy after all the exposition was dumped on him. His worldview is completely shattered now because of that, and I think he's really torn up inside with conflicting feelings on the whole thing. Maybe there'll be redemption for him at some point, but like Dr. Light said, he'll need time to sort it all out first.

Anyway, "The Gauntlet" was a pretty good finale to the season. I really hope we get a second season, if only to see more of that new form Mega Man got in the climax. That was awesome to see, however brief it was.

I wonder what happened to the R Ms not in the finale. Fire Man, Hypno Woman, Ice Man, and Wood Man were all absent.

They're all arguably the ones who were on the best terms with Megaman at the time and were least likely to go along with the attack. Even Blasto backed out eventually.

This really should have been addressed as a plot point relating to the theme of making choices, though.

Maybe if the show gets renewed they'll bust Night out of jail like Mega Man 7's opening. For some reason.

You ever notice they reuse the same voice clip of Mega Man going "Uwah!" after he gets hit? I only noticed it because of this battle compilation clip.

Fire Man was probably getting his... "everything" fixed after what Namagem did to him.

Hypno Woman was probably still hiding in shame after failing to help Thomas, or maybe she's looking through the town as Mari, checking if Namagem didn't leave any other rogue Glitter Bot roaming free for Obsidian's plans.

Ice Man's probably still in rehabilitation, or he simply went back to his old job of maintaining stuff in storage at a cold temperature.

Wood Man, not being very social yet, is probably still in the forest taking care of the trees and plants after Fire Man and Namagem's fight ravaged so many of his friends.

I'm now wondering if Mini and Blasto are really an item. Also, is it me, or THEY AMPED UP THE SHIP TEASE WITH CHAOTIQUE OFMG

Aki has a type: green-haired gal who can respond quickly to difficult situations and who can impress him.

Considering Chaotique still sold out the Mega Key's location I kinda doubt it'll go anywhere. Snap Back is a pretty big hurdle.

You know, I wonder...

Could Aki replicate Rush's schematics? (laser eyes, flying and acting like a dog)

I also wonder... could he replicate schematics from machines that aren't exactly walking sapient robots? Because I had a really weird idea like, as he was able to implement that chip as if it was a schematic, could he integrate the Mega Key's power into his Mega Buster?

[up] In theory, though I bet that side-effects would be really embarrassing.

Something that bugs me, did the show ever explained how Aki became Mega Man? It seems as if he always was him, which begs the question why he thought that Dr Light wouldn't know about him.
