Honestly, I read it as sarcasm.
Welcome to Estalia, gentlemen. How the hell did they manage to do even worse than Dark Phoenix?
It's been 3000 years…> Honestly, I read it as sarcasm.
She probably enjoyed working on it and hearing that it's 'the worst xmen' is just noise to her
New theme music also a boxLet's just pretend these last two movies didn't happen and the series ended with Logan.
I feel weird. I actually didn't hate Dark Phoenix. So I don't want to forget it happened.
But yeah Logan would have been a better ending for the franchise.
Still hoping this will at least be okay. But that hope is also quickly fading.

Fan-Preferred Couple cleanup threadMan does that gag in Deadpool 2 where the X-Men quitely close a door in the mansion to avoid becomes even more hilarious when thought like this.
They thought themselves too good for Wade but unlike them he's actually made some good movies with good usage of characters these last couple years.
Like Deadpool had stellar portrayals of Colossus, Negasonic, Cable, Domino, & especially Juggernaut. What have the last X-Men movies done?
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."> What have the last X-Men movies done?
Professor X,Magneto and Wolverine
New theme music also a boxSome liked their version of X-23, apparently.
Wake me up at your own risk.Ah but that’s a Logan character, of course she was good.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Laura (X-23) was fantastic. Dafne keen gave a great performance. With a 20% rotten tomato I wouldn't have gone to see the film if there weren't a pandemic, and I'm definitely not going to now.
You can only write so much in your forum signature. It's not fair that I want to write a piece of writing yet it will cut me off in the midI've never seen anybody that doesn't see Laura as a highlight of Logan.
It's been 3000 years…Keen should totally reprise the character in the MCU.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."So, from pint-sized stabby kid to pint-sized stabby teen.
Wake me up at your own risk.I would quite like to see what would happen if the Fox X23 and Deadpool both somehow make it into the MCU but Wolverine doesn't. Wade would probably have a lot to say about it for sure.
"These 'no-nonsense' solutions of yours just don't hold water in a complex world of jet-powered apes and time travel."So... where's the The New Mutants page, hasn't been updated with spoilers
"Oh, I see how it is, he ran out of movies in his contract. Well, there are worse fates than that."
It's been 3000 years…Where's the The New Mutants page, hasn't been updated with spoilers
You can edit them in yourself,it is a wiki after all
New theme music also a boxWarning for spoilers and racism.
Someone on Twitter posted a video showing instances of the character Dani Moonstar being insulted with racial slurs in the New Mutants movie.
Ugh, if the writers just wanted to make Illyana a jerk there's so many other ways they could've done that...
Hope it's okay to comment outside of spoilers.
But I saw that on my Twitter feed as well and my two cents is that at the risk of complaining about movies you haven't watched, that seems like bad writing.
Of course, depiction =/ endorsement, and my assumption is that Illyana is set up as a jerk and then is redeemed.
However, racism is a kind of jerkiness that makes a character unsympathetic in a way that it's hard to come back from (although it can work, such as with Zoe in Ms. Marvel (2014)). And as I understand it, this is a kind of jerkiness associated with Illyana in the comics.
Also, it doesn't feel organic to me to have a character calling your movie's Native American character "Pocahantas" let alone "Standing Rock". And the former is presently associated with a derogatory nickname that Trump uses for Elizabeth Warren. And since I would assume Illyana is not presented as a Trump supporter, it does make those particular choices questionable.

I mean this isn't a new thing to have very heavy racism in X Men. Remember Kitty using the N Word?
Mileena MadnessWell there's a reason why that story stays buried in the 80s. :|
What do you expect from a director who whitewashed a character because he doesn't care about racism (his words)?
Disgusted, but not surprised
Probably the very simple explanation that she thinks the movie is better than people are giving it credit for, possibly by dint of being closer to it than its detractors.
