"You've been in an awful mood ever since you came back." , Dark Meta Knight
◊ says as he hops onto the table to look up at Mara better.
"Have I? I didn't notice that one bit." , Mara sarcastically says.
"Could it perhaps be because I got stuck for several months and missed Halloween? Or perhaps because we lost our secret weapon because of Gravitas? Oh, you know, I think it's because Wanda Maximoff bypassed my mental defenses and showed me the most nightmarish creature I have ever seen!"
She gets up to Dark Meta Knight's face, grinning dangerously.
"I have the strangest feeling that just one of those things would be reason enough to not be very happy." , she growls. Dark Meta Knight starts to sweat in fear, genuinely becoming a little afraid.
"So can you imagine for a moment that I may be the slightest bit peeved that ALL THREE OF THOSE THINGS HAPPENED!?"
She suddenly picks Dark Meta Knight up and outright throws him through the hallway, with him ending up crashing into a wall near the entrance of the smaller base. It's definitely not lethal, but for a moment Dark Meta Knight thought Mara was killing him.
"Not to mention my godawful performance against Super Sonic!" , she growls.
"I mean, didn't you exhaust pretty much all of your energy blocking Baby Vegito Black's attack?", Porter asks as he puts the emerald on the desk. "He used to be stronger than you according to my data."
"Still, I barely contributed in any meaningful way. ... ugh, never mind. I just need some time to cool my head. Maybe I'll go for a walk in an hour and see if I can't find my kids." , she says, dismissively waving with her hand.
"Oh, Cyber did also tell me to inform you of the recovery process once you got back.", Porter says.
"The what now?"
"The base we were residing in was completely destroyed. However, we have been able to recover all of our belongings and have managed to preserve them. Including the things you were working on as well as our... guest."
"Some good news, I suppose." , Mara says, sitting on the desk.
"All of our belongings... except for two particular things. ... or, rather, one thing depending on how you perceive it."
"Huh?"
Porter hands her a list, which she looks over, and when she sees what Porter means... she grins with intrigue.

Hub Centralis Alleyways, a few hours after the soccer game's end
It's raining. Storming, to be more exact. A very rare occurrence in the Arena, but not impossible.
Slow, metallic clunking can be heard as something limps through the alleyway, water from the puddles splashing upwards every time his feet touch the ground. Pain fills his body, which creaks with every movement. He swears he can hear his bones crack, but never enough to risk them breaking.
A grunt of pain escapes him as he tries to remember what happened to him.
What is this place? Where is he?
He nearly stumbles against a container. He looks at the puddle of water that has formed on the lid.
Lightning erupts from the skies, illuminating the area and allowing him to see his reflection in the puddle for just a moment.
His initial reaction is shock as he backs off and hits a wall. Of course it would be. Who wouldn't be shocked when seeing what he looks like now?
He breathes heavily, but the sounds that come out are ragged and hoarse. He slowly looks at his hand...
He doesn't fully remember yet, but... he begins to get a picture of what happened to him.
His shock starts to fade and is replaced by... intrigue.
After all...
Who, after their shock wears off... wouldn't be intrigued...

Being pampered with fortune his whole life Asher knows something is up, but isn't smart enough to know exactly what. A militant force suddenly hiring you for some reason during a combat situation is a scenario he's never even considered in his life would happen. Buuut being a lucky nobody he reluctantly accepts the offer...
Lost in his thoughts through narration he snaps back into reality, jolting a tiny bit and instinctually taking the voucher.
"S-Sorry sir, was lost in thoughts... Don't I still need to get the proper training and... all that?..."
A short pause, he connects the dots and that dripped out guy's a big honcho commanding officer not dealing with the main threat they were here for earlier right now. That doesn't seem very army-like to him.
"And don't you guys have something else more important to do?!"

And the battle continues…
Myria, seeing multiple fakes and one real coming at her, twisted her body to face as many double teams as possible. She held her snakewhip towards them, as the creatures attached began lashing out at incredible speeds and precision, striking at every last mirage until it found the true one.
Meanwhile, the Queen saw two elememts approaching her rapidly, lighting and wind. She shifted her feet and moved to the side, the attack passing by her. The position allowed her to spot the enemy rushing at her, as well as the fact that the two elements had course corrected themselves, coming directly towards her once more. Deciding to kill two birds with one stone, she created a Siphon, trapping the elements in place. With quick thinking, Myria placed the siphon directly in front of the odd man, firing Melia’s attack at her ally.

Lutemis touched down, some distance away from the massive fort. This was one of the supposed entrances to the grand cave her Rider was searching for, although it was said to be comprised by bandits and thieves, a difficult battle. Luin planned to resolve it simply, with no bloodshed, by merely showing up with Lutemis in her wake. After all, what sane bandit would stick around, seeing a nearly full-grown Rathian headed directly towards them?
However, Luin questioned the sanity of these very same bandits, and just in case, had put a notice out for help in the nearby towns and city, promising a reward to rendezvous there and act as guards. With the settlement in the distance, she set up camp, began cooking meat she had carved off of the local trolls, and waited.

Infinity Ultron, after days of being literally afk, rises from his mechanical throne with a frustrated motion. What a frustrating dimensional nexus! I can't find any weak spots in its core or whatever it has for one! Graaahhhhh! As he speaks, his army of flying robots begins gathering around the room, understanding what will be said next.
... Hm, having calmed down instantly, Ultron taps his forehead. Oh, I know! I'll go looking for it! I'll borrow to this realm's core and blow it up from the inside! Brillant! Just brillant! Why go... simple when you can go ape? Ah! Well, because apes are extinct of course!
Ultron ponders on making a big announcement for a second... but then decides that this would be too kind of him. No, let them die in terror without knowing who destroyed the world and why'd they do it. Besides, it'll save him some time: He should've moved on to his thousandth universe by now!
Ultron snaps his fingers and shape his metallic city into a humongous drill by a mere whim of the Reality Stone's powers, before pointing downwards and sitting on his throne. Instantly, the massive city falls in the middle of Skyrim, triggering an earthquake upon impact and devastating everything... a good radius around it. It is a city-sized mass coming down hard from the heavens and all.
Six red reactors sprout from the city before being fired up by the Space Stone's azure energy. They begin to help the metal city in drilling as Ultron's mechanical army spreads around it, anticipating a feeble defense from the locals. Ultron tune up a TV and watch, crossing his legs and slouching.
I wonder who'll bother showing up.

Other!Edelgard finds herself face to face with, perhaps, one of the only people in the universe she is truly afraid of. It had only been three years ago that he had utterly destroyed Vegeta (the planet) along with herself and everything she had worked for. The truth was, he had been planning it from the start- and had only been delayed from doing so by... well, some coercion.
It speaks to the strength of that coercion then, that the tyrant Freeza could be stopped from bringing his wrath down on a planet for over 20 years. If it had not been for the planet earth and its dragon balls, her dream would have died then and there.
There is nothing more dangerous than the words of a snake like him.
So without any fanfare, Edelgard jumps in to fight for the fate of the universe- alone.
Experience is hard to come by, but after defeat after defeat within the arena itself, experience is what she had gained. Kaioken times four? How about times five? Times seven? eight? ten?
How about twenty?
Even in his final form, the power of Freeza could not be compared to that. Perhaps, if given a chance to escalate to 100% of his power, the fight could have evened out... but no, it was over before it began.
All of Freeza's efforts had only amounted to a few bruises and scratches on her body. The tyrant himself, meanwhile?
Well, all that was left was blood on the ground. The rest- dust in the wind.
Almost pitiable.

Artemis arrives, albeit clueless about the rendezvous point and help signs in nearby towns, feeling like she was being called to the area for the hunt. Noticing Luin by the camp, she hops by, appearing to be hanging upside-down on a tree branch.

Asher's heart skips a beat at the thought of execution, seeming barbaric to his eyes. Although weighing in what just happened earlier, he thinks its the best for the man. After all he is a demon to his eyes, maybe hell isn't so bad after all... right?

William was fucking squashed underneath the city.
A solid hour or two passes and he's clawed himself out by hand, not through Marvin's energy at all but through raw determination. He's found himself by the outer rim of destruction. Sensing the large energies around he figures that someone literally squashing a city's worth is probably some big bad worth taking down.
"Many machine lifeforms... Heh, guess I could use a quick warmup on engineering after all."
"Are we.... Hijacking the death robots?"
"We are hijacking the death robots."
"Can I use that laser thingie from that martial artist right after?"
"You're the boss of your own body."
William floats into the air, multiple balls of energy flying their way towards the flying robots as they enter the robots, intending to hijack them from the inside and make them fight against one another.
Not smart enough to have the knowhow, Marvin takes control of his body to increase the chances of that gambit working. If it goes as intended the machines turn against one another.
Afterwards William flies even higher to wherever the sun is facing.
Crouching and putting his palms together, a sun-like ball forms between his palms and blinding beams of light come off of the energy ball as it charges into a massive ball, drawing power from the sun to be converted for his own use.
"Kamehameha!"
William unleashes a beam of concentrated energy, the radius shrinking to compact the energy further while it makes is way onto one of the reactors with the intention of breaking or even vaporizing it.
"NO NO! YOU HAVE TO SAY EACH SYLLABLE SLOWLY- SLOWWWWWWWLY, IT MAKES THE THING STRONGER I RECKON!"

Not to be outdone, GE!Pietro swings a pair of Chaos Chains at the ball in an attempt to ensnare and launch it back towards the opposing goal.

Her attack's been rendered ineffective or, has it?
Regardless of the case, Melia summons two new elementals above her- one water elemental, and one fire elemental. A ball of flame and a ball of water with an airy core. It only takes her a moment to do this, and after, she sends both elementals after Myria. Instead of attempting to have them hit her, however... the elementals ram into eachother just in front of her, exploding into a massive amount of steam that may prove quite unpleasant at such a close range due to the force at which it all comes pouring out. Afterwards, the attack is not interrupted somehow, the mist will settle across the battlefield, obscuring Melia's position from regular sight.
If this field of mist forms, Melia will attempt to get closer to Myria before summoning an ice elemental and letting it burst, forming a rapidly expanding ring of icicles that sprout from the ground around her, facing outwards from her position, threatening to both pierce and freeze her opponent.
If the mist doesn't form, she will simply stay back, still summoning an earth elemental, but only extending its buff range to assure every one of her allies receives its benefit of reduced physical damage taken, rather than immediately releasing it.

The Priest
Myria sees the two elementals incoming, and prepares to block…
…Only to be electrocuted by the purple lightning sent back to her, one she had been too arrogant to notice coming. Convulsing violently, she fell to her knees, the electricity running it's course, while Melia performs her attack, shooting Myria backwards. Once her foe goes through with it, Myria is unable to prevent the mist from spreading, and as she raised her staff, expelling the mist, she noticed the ice elemental forming in front of her.
Acting quickly, the Queen performed a Vortex spell, much like earlier (siphon? What the shit is that?), keeping the elemental from bursting. A smug smile made it's way onto her face, before it was immediately broken, as she noticed the elemental expanding once more, despite being Vortexed.
How could it be?
She had already blocked Melia's attack, so it continuing was impossible…Unless someone else was contributing to this elemental. Panicking, she knew her Vortex had limited time before it was not trapped at all, and so cast it aside, too befuddled to even aim it at someone.
That was when she felt it.
At first, it was simply a little prick on her arm. Nothing of note.
And then it happened, on her other arm.
And then a more painful prick to her shoulder.
A baseball-sized chunk of ice left a bruise on her forearm.
A cat-sized chunk smashing against her head granted her with a killer headache.
A bike sized ice block landing just close enough to her to get the Queen to pay attention to what was to rain down from the sky next: a ten foot long pillar of ice with a two foot radius.
Myria prepared to say something, perhaps a swear, or perhaps merely a gasp. She was not given the time to do much of anything, however, before the pillar slammed her into the ground.
From the air dropped a man with almost cartoonishly large gauntlets,
the look on his face suggesting he had gone through this with the Queen before. Regardless, he did not relent as the woman slowly got to her feet, a ball of blue forming between his palms.
If anybody had any ultimate megazord facesmashing dickcrushing assblasting attacks to let loose, now was the time.

Luin seemed to almost jump for a moment as the woman emerged from the trees.
"Most likely." She answered, once she had gotten over the brief surprise. She decided the food had been cooked enough, and took a bite of it, before ripping off a large chunk and tossing it behind her. Grumbling, the Rathian caught the meat in her mouth, swallowing it whole.
"You come 'cause of the posters?"

Not one for showing off, the sickles around him move independently to form a circle as they start spinning, all of them sparking as they're concentrating into a single bolt of lightning against Myria.
On the meanwhile he looked around, the other attacks interesting him.
"This place is ample playing ground for the captain, most definitely"
Artemis shook her head, and elaborated.
"Nahhh, the opportunity of the hunt brings me places I don' even know! Sweet beast you got by the way, coulda sworn I've seen it somewhere before. Name's Artemis by the way, used to be called uh..."
She doesn't remember her old name, leaving an awkward pause for her to think before stopping.
"that's irrelevant 'neways, jus' call me Artemis."
She stood upright afterwards and sat on the branch. A moment passes and she remembers about the aforementioned posters.
"So you're waitin' for a few more people for a helpin' hand?" She asks, probably to pass the time or something.

And so, the bee cloud flies towards Myria while she's distracted by the other attacks, and try to engulf her. If succesful, the Empress, with the help of the speed boost, will appear behind Myria, and stab her with her staff!

"I'll say this much about Ultron: he's certainly a master of drawing attention to himself. Heh, and Stark accused me of supposedly being a 'full-tilt diva'," Loki remarks, gripping Nightbane's hilt with his gauntleted hand and freeing the ebon blade from its sheathe.
"The last time we fought, I hadn't unlocked my full power. If we're lucky, it should give us the advantage we need," Wanda says, switching to her Scarlet Witch attire
◊ with a quick wave of her hand.
"Come on, those Stones aren't gonna magically fly out of Ultron's body and into our hands," Pietro chimes in, activating his Chaos Form.
◊ "Loki, try not to get drunk with power and start snapping us out of existence once they're in that gauntlet."
With that, the trio march into the city, steeling themselves for whatever Ultron had in store for them. Once inside, Wanda attempts to telekinetically seize the drill and wrench it from the ground. Pietro, on the hand, dashes through the ranks of Ultron's iron legions and begins hacking away at them with dual Chaos Katanas while Loki attempts to distract them with an illusory copy of Steppenwolf.

As for the people's feeble defenses, massive flames are sent towards some of the drones, courtesy of Dr. Strange Supreme, with the attacks aiming to melt them into nothing but metallic goo.
"You know, out of all the things I thought your stone-powered boss would do, creating a massive drill city wasn't something I considered." , he says as he flies in the sky above, looking down on the drones.

Far underneath where the city crashes into the ground, a giant creature sits within an underground cavern. The shockwaves from the city crashing shakes the cavern due to the earthquake and starts making it collapse. Lights flicker on and off on the creature's body before its six eyes light up.
The creature awakens, and it is not happy.

Melia senses an opening, and lets that ether that's been building within her loose.
As was said, Melia is a glass cannon. Fragile, but hits hard- and yet, so far, all she's done to prove that is defend almost as well as she's attacked. So, then, where's the cannon?
Here's the cannon.
Her eyes begin to glow gold and an aura of green and yellow shimmering ether flows around her in snaking tendrils. Raising her staff into the air, Melia shouts out as a wave of ether explodes from the tip of her weapon, expanding outwards in an omnidirectional bubble that quickly shrouds the surroundings. This attack is, ironically, physically harmless to anything that is not an injured Gigas Telethia- but it has the secondary effect of making everything hit by it ridiculously vulnerable to all forms of attack, especially ether attacks, for a short time.
And, taking advantage of that, Melia quickly summons three new electric elementals that linger above her, further boosting the power of her ether to ludicrous levels!
Finally, preparing all that strength within her, Melia puts her staff to the side and places a closed fist against her own head. Energy from her very mind pours into the palm of her hand, contained only by her closed fist, and with another shout, Melia thrusts her hand forward, opening her palm towards Myria, letting loose a monumental beam of ether energy that is both immensely destructive and potent in its secondary effect- if Myria survives, they will be afflicted with arts seal, temporarily preventing them from using any attack more complicated than a physical strike. Additionally, anything that can be considered a positive aura in effect on Myria will be completely purged!
The beam is roughly conical- becoming wider but less potent as it gains distance. In this instance, Melia is using it quite close to Myria, maximizing the amount of damage the attack will do!
And it's something quite peculiar / Something shimmering and white.
King of the Monsters
As the ball is sent back towards the goal, Samus rushes and does a slide low to the ground, seemingly letting the ball go over her head. She then does a flip kick that launches the ball high up into the sky. She cartwheels right back up to her feet while it falls back down, and then quickly sends it flying towards Sarah and Pietro's goal with another kick.
Drill City
"MUDA!"
A fist strikes the ground, and a line of cracks run through it before trees burst up, engulfing Ultron's army in a dense jungle. Some of the trees twist together into a giant vaguely-humanoid form that grabs the drill directly, not large and tough enough to stop it, but enough to slow it down.
The Crimson Hawk Ranger
◊ appears on the field next. "You... will go no further." He throws a volley of Hadoken at Ultron's army!

Feeling a buzz against her hip, she reaches down and pulls out a really funky-looking phone. There's a new message.
I bid thee, survey this new realm and thou shall find many Pokémon. Before thee lies much conflict and intrigue. Thou art prepared to confront it. Thy success is all but certain. Go forth, now.
Her expression sours reading the message. She sighs, shaking her head. 「まったく。ヒスイ地方の冒険だけあるじゃなく、これもしなきゃならない。」
She stows the phone, muttering to herself, 「悔しい⋯」
"He's gearing up for war."
Divine Burden
The drones are quite Cannon Fodder but they aren't at the same time. The initial strikes against specifically them are efficient at disposing of them, but one of Pietro's swords, which used to cleave through them just fine, merely embeds into one of the bots, allowing it to reach for Pietro's arm. Several of the robots then swarm into a tight mass, attempting to grab him and hold him stil for the other machines to either punch or shoot at with beams.
He'll be assisted by William's possessed Ultron-bots after a short while and the emergence of Steppenwolf grabs a few more's attentions, but there's so many of them at once that their efforts don't hold back much of the swarm. What's worse, some of the robots remain loyal to Ultron even after the lights pass through them and they quickly realize on their own that "Steppenwolf" is a trick.
Fortunately, a mass of them are suddenly drawn forward and shattered into a mountain worth of scrap, as a muscular man with red hair, no eyebrows and an open coat stroll into the battlefield. Bringing metal to the fight, heh? I guess you're begging for an ass kicking! He then has to shut up when the robots come swarming in, arranging all that metal into a crude Bull construct, which he uses to begin rampaging across the swarm while drawing more of it into himself.
But again, the robots stop being attracted eventually. This doesn't harm his now-massive supply of scrap, but it does leave him exposed to being blasted by the combined output of several of the bots, forming a massive explosion and throwing him back. Thanks for all the scrap anyway, jackasses! He yells, having only received a bunch of burns from the explosion.
Dr Strange melts through the drones and it doesn't look like they can adapt to it as easily. At least the initial ones: forming out of thin air, blue-hued drones fly at Strange, passing through his flames to try to smack into the good doctor all at once. Magical barriers will hold fine, but more esoteric means of disposing of them will be shrugged off!
As for William and the Crimson Ranger, their combined attacs tears apart a great swath of the swarm... and the former cracks a forcefield around the reactor. All around said forcefield, more and more sentries form out of thin air. They don't rush him, instead shooting electric whips at him to try to subdue him via wrapping him up in electric threads, until he's... a glowing blue mummy. Sweet.
Wanda and Giorno almost destroys the drill, but at the last moment, it reshape itself into a bigger and meaner structure before fixing itself right back in place, glowing red as it does. It then continues drilling, at a faster pace than before to make up for their disruption and also lit itself on fire. And so do the other Ultron bots in the army, each setting themselves ablaze and blasting at the wooden structure.
From within the city, well out of sight, Ultron frowns.
... I had to exert to stop that. He comments, irritated.
On the outside, Kidd notices the cracked forcefield and begins to run towards it, shaping the scrap metal into house-sized gauntlets, which he wields just fine as he tear his way across the swath to head straight for the city itself! Haha! I'll leave you to struggle with the fodder! I'm taking on the head honcho myself!
He remains fearless even as giant drones appear, jumping and downing one with a mighty uppercut!

Thanos is silently watching from his base, contemplating his Infinity Shotgun. A little device on his belt glows whenever Ultron warps reality, but it appears to be a slow process.
I'll need more time...
As for Doom, he nods. Yes. I would like to avoid a sterile debate, he looks at a screen he's spectating for. And I fear that this particular variant of the Sorcerer Supreme would fail to heed even our direst calls.
To use the stones is to put the entire universe, its core foundations, the very elements that keep it working... under the whim and morals of one man, he mutters to himself. Foolishness. Pure foolishness.

King of the Monsters
With nothing directly opposing him, the Crimson Hawk Ranger rushes towards William, attempting to smack aside the whips trying to bind the man.
Giorno calmly walks through the burning forest. As he nears Ultron drones, he tags them with a single Gold Experience punch and turns their vital points into eggs mid-hatch, making heads and torsos explode with animals emerging from them.

Doom nods. He clenches his right hand, a bright light gathering around it...

A beam of light suddenly blasts from the sky. It's not very large, but horrifyingly for those who were there for World of Light, it looks exactly like one of Galeem's lasers.
It functions like one too. It pulls up and streaks through the battlefield, homing right in on Loki with nothing able to stop or redirect it until it plows through him... and fades, leaving him completely fine.
The Cosmic Gauntlet, on the other hand, is now a Spirit, encased in a sphere of rainbow flame.
Doctor Doom then descends, his right hand still glimmering with Galeem's light. "Loki of Asgard. Steven Strange. Maximoff twins. And the rest of you. The Infinity Stones are not to be used. They are to be destroyed so that no one person will have full control over that power. This is not up for debate."
"And before you ask, no. The Gauntlet was nothing more than an empty husk. The power I just used will not work so flawlessly on Ultron and his creations." With that statement given, his left hand suddenly fades into Dharkon's darkness and shoots out a storm of malevolent red energy bolts at Ultron's forces, finishing with a large ball that explodes into a Sphere of Destruction!

Enzo, the Vanilla Gang, and the Crazy Musician arrives where the rest of the group are. Enzo nods at Doom's explaination: he comprehends that such great power must not end at the hands of a single man...
But Painty says: Alas, that power could have been useful to end with the Nightmares.
"There is not time to cry for this, Painty. We must destroy the guards of the city and stop the Drill!"
Painty and Co. nod, and they take their instruments, trying to wipe the battlefield with their music power!
Meanwhile, the Crazy Musician takes a giant Pac-Man out from his hat, and throws it at the Drill, trying to help to slow it along with the plants summoned by Giorno.

Let me handle it, Pietro!
Sarah has the time to see it coming and motion at Pietro before spinning in place on her hands, anticipating Samus's strike and moving to counter it with something of even greater power. When the ball comes her way, Sarah yeet it upward with a kick, using her great strength to counter the strike.
The ball will arch downwards eventually, to Sarah's design. This means that Pietro and Oca will need to have an aerial battle to fight for it!
