Benny flees in terror from the blast's detonation, raising his arms over his head to better throw away some coins he had collected.

The game was rigged, I tell ya! Don't shoot me He pleads to no one, apparently thinking himself under attack. Before anyone can try to explain to him the actual happenings, he leaves.

Argalia nods.    "Well, One was grey haired, with a red coat, and a large sword. Another was a mouse in a magicians outfit, which I found somewhat amusing. Another was a purple humanoid creature, one which I could tell was a threat, just at a glance. And... finally, there was a man in a black suit, with black hair, and black gloves."   

His expression changes to something more familiar.    "Are any of those familiar to you?"   

"You know I work with the Time Patrol, right? More of as a merc than an agent these days, but still."

Oca stands up and grins at the newcomer, giving Courne a glance like 'It's fine. I like meeting new victims people'. Let's meet the new meat!

He leers at Viche.

"Only the most un-saiyan saiyanoid you'll ever meet, little dude."

That seems to lift his mood by a point or two.

"Of course! I'm always up for a battle!"

"The first step towards getting better is to battle more, after all!"

He taps the cosmog on his head to wake it up. It snorts, before 'hopping' off and into his bag.

"... Hmm... come on out, Parasect!"

"PARA!"

Not noticing that she once again had an audience for a boss fight, Nicole begins battling against Juggernaut, giving as good as she gets against the hulking villain. That is, until the sudden explosion distracts her long enough for Juggernaut to punch out Wolverine. Suffice it to say, she's not exactly pleased by this development.

"Oh, come on! I almost had that one in the bag!"

She marches right up to the girl responsible for the explosion.

"What the friggin' hell's your problem, Tall, Dark, and Demonic? I know losing a game ain't fun, but there's a boxing game just over there if you really need to blow off steam."

"You did what was required for your survival, you shouldn't feel negatively about it"

The octoling thought on the words about her music carefully.

"If I created music, did people listen?,"

She asked one more question

"Do you have a high strength blade of any kind, I want to get these wires out of my hands"

"Which is exactly why I figured they might confiscate it if they learn about it.", Courne mutters.

Viche answers Oca's leer with one of his own.

"You almost sound like you're proud of that. What's up with that?"

"He altered his body.", Courne offhandedly says.

"Huh? By yourself?", Viche asks, noticing Oca's stuff. "I guess that's impressive in a way, but it's still a rather dumb mindset."

Courne just shakes his head at Oca in a 'I really am sorry' kind of way.

Cara looks happy.

"Ah, thank you! I'll try my best!"

She turns to Gorochu.

"Let's go!"

Gorochu just looks at her with an 'excuse me?' expression before hopping to the side and leaning against the wall, letting out a yawn. Cara stares at him for a moment, dumbfounded, before sheepishly turning back to Red.

"G-guess he's not in a fighting mood... but I have other Pokemon of my own! ... even if it's gonna be difficult type-wise..."

She grabs a Poke Balland throws it.

"Go, Horsea!"

At the same time as Red's Parasect emerges, so does Cara's Horsea◊, which, going by game rules, is floating above the ground instead of uselessly splashing around due to the lack of water.

"Smokescreen!", she calls out, and Horsea spews out a thick, inky cloud of smoke, which floats towards Parasect.

VS Trainer Cara

The girl jumps onto Wereshark Stanislas' shoulder and rides him along towards the enemy.

"Those sound like the Freelancers. They're a PMC working for me and my friends' enemies."

She collapses Crescent Rose and places it on her back. "You've got my attention now."

"If nobody else listened, just know that I did."

Then comes the weird question.

"Hmmm... I don't, but I know someone who might."

The lava-girl glares at Nicole silently.

An aura of flame, heat and death builds around her...

Then she just blows a raspberry and recreates the destroyed cabinet with a snap of her fingers.    "I'm a goddess. Don't think you can order me around."   

Roy is starled by Nicole's outburst, seeing as he himself somehow hadn't heard the explosion. When Nicole sets off, he, confused, follows after her, wanting to know what's going on.

"A... goddess?", he mutters all confused when he hears the girl talk and sees her restoring the destroyed cabinet.

Trina has gotten to the scene as well right after Nicole did, though Trina remains hidden from everyone else. Her hand is on the hilt of her dagger, and she is more than ready to act if she deems it necessary. She most certainly heard the girl's claim and saw what she can do, but that makes zero difference to her.

She showed her hand off to 8, and it became clear just a blade wouldn't suffice for this kind of thing

Those wires were running into her skin

"It may require more than that unfortunately, I would Rip them out, but I am not sure if my nerves have returned to functioning use"

"I mean I guess, but we have a 'special arrangement'. That arrangement being that they don't want to piss me off. Besides, I'm also a researcher, I'm allowed to research."

Oca does his best to look pompous.

"You want my tragic backstory? I was a little shitstain weakling of a saiyanoid that barely had a power level of 10 by the time I was as old. I needed to adopt un-saiyan methodologies to survive. Also, orphan."

He shrugs.

"The end result you're looking at might not be as plain strong as the apexes of saiyan kind, but I'd bet an arm and a leg that I can be far deadlier."

"Maybe you need more Gym Badges to make him respect you as a trainer?"

Reading subtle hand signals from Red, Parasect uses Dig to avoid the Smokescreen.

"para!"

"Hope for you that you're right I guess.", Courne says.

Viche looks unimpressed.

"So because you were weak and lonely you cheated.", he sums it up. "Heh, I bet I'm still far stronger than you are, tin man. I'm a powerful Saiyan soldier myself despite my age, and you... well, even though you look like a pretty brilliant scientist, I'll be shocked if you're anything but an average fighter."

He approaches.

"Whaddya say? Wanna fight?"

"Well, he's not really... my Pokemon, so..."

She then looks surprised when Parasect acts without a verbal command, not having noticed Red's hand gestures to Parasect.

"Wait, uh... Agility!"

Horsea moves around a bit, starting to become faster. Cara is probably hoping that Horsea will become fast enough to dodge Parasect when it resurfaces.

Nicole rolls her eyes at the girl's claim.

"Yeah, sure, and I'm actually an archangel sent down from heaven to destroy all the sinful nonbelievers," she remarks. "Christ, if I had a dime for everyone I met who thought their power made them some unstoppable god..."

She casts a glance at Roy.

"You might wanna get outta here in case things start getting ugly, kid."

"... That would probably kill you," Agent 8 concludes.

   "What, you mad about it?"    she taunts, though she doesn't seem ready to fight.    "Why do you think I look like a demon if I'm not a god of gaming?"

Roy quickly tries to move inbetween the demon girl and Nicole, trying to diffuse the situation.

"H-hey now, there's no need to fight over this. We're in an arcade, it's a place of fun... right?", he sheepishly says.

Trina, still hidden, just looks at him with a 'for fuck's sake' expression, then waits.

"Move out of the way, Roy. If they start fighting, I can't strike with you standing there.", she thinks to herself.

"I have literally never denied the fact that I'm a dirty cheater and I am also not ashamed of it. Cheating wins fights."

He taps his head.

"You look like you have something resembling a brain yourself. I fight, but it's more of a 'haha fighting!' thing - I'd say the idea that in terms of martial skill, me being an 'average fighter' fits."

"By career, I was an assassin. Someone like you might have, let's say, confronted Demigra and challenged him to a battle for the fate of the universe. Meanwhile, the CHAD me annihilated his skull by teleporting an antimatter matrix into it."

"I can't pull shenanigans like that here due to... meta stuff, which greatly curtails my effectiveness. But half of my cheating is just boosting my strength, so I'd say you stand... I don't know you, actually. Courne, how strong is this kid?"

Parasect's Dig reaches the end of its course, and it lunges from the ground in hopes of tagging Horsea.

Regardless of if this hits, immediately after it uses Spore - this time, really on its own.

"Good job!"

Argalia nods, before saying    "If that is the case, we have an enemy in common. And, this is not the first time this man has been a common enemy."    He smiles, saying    "While I do not know the names of the other members, other than the mouse possibly being called Daroach, A certain black suited bastard named Roland is with them."   

Argalia simply moves on to say    "I would be willing to offer my aid, in this case. The enemy of my enemy is my friend, after all."   

Viche just stares at him.

"I don't understand half of the techno-babble you're talking, and I don't even know who Demigra is, but he doesn't sound like all that.", Viche says. "Me, on the other hand, I-"

As he rattles on, Courne turns to Oca.

"Doesn't reach regular Super Saiyan. Think like... Ginyu Force level or something... I think. Last time I saw him fight was before I ended up here.", he mutters to him, Viche not hearing him as he continues to ramble.

"Blah blah blah blah I'm awesome blah blah blah-"

"Anyhow, he doesn't even know that I've reached and surpassed that level, so he doesn't know that anyone but King Vegeta can even become that strong. I don't think he stands a chance against you."

Thanks to Agility, Horsea manages to float back just in the nick of time.

"Yes!"

And then it gets Spored and falls asleep.

"Rats."

Gorochu can't help but snicker a little.

"Oh, cool, you're half-decent at playing video games. I bet that means you're right up there with friggin' Zeus himself when it comes to godhood," Nicole retorts, still looking just as unimpressed. "Well, why don't you use your 'divine influence' and find somewhere else to be an annoying little brat?"

She looks back at Roy.

"I seriously don't think she's the type who'll listen to reason, kid."

"I mean, that's insanely strong for a kid. Colour me impressed. On a purely intellectual level. I don't think this kid gets what running around here means for power levels."

Oca waves, trying to get Viche's attention.

"Hey kid, let's cut a deal. If you can beat my own kid, I'll fight you."

Parasect throws up Leech Seeds at Horsea.

"U-Turn!"

Parasect clicks in discontent but complies, aiming to hit Horsea with the switch-out move.

"I'm not sure..." Ruby pensively wavers back and forth.

"I'll go ask."

Before Argalia can respond, she vanishes in a burst of flower petals.

   "Well I wasn't having fun and she made it worse."   

She puts up her fists.    "1v1 me m8 ill rek u"   

Viche looks genuinely surprised at the momentary praise, then looks proud.

"Well, at least you understand I'm not some helpless kid."

He then snorts.

"Sure, bring 'em out."

Courne then discreetly asks Oca something.

"Do you have a snack? Because this is probably gonna be good."

Both the Leech Seeds and the U-Turn hit the Horsea, and Cara tries to recall Horsea... but the Leech Seed traps it in place, and it's not waking up yet.

"I-I should have brought items."

"C'mon, try to remain civil please.", Roy says, looking a little more panicked now.

Trina sighs, then leaps out of hiding, landing right in front of a startled Roy and glancing at Nicole, then the girl, then Nicole again, continuing to switch between them as she holds out her hands in their directions, a knife in each hand.

"Enough of this idiocy.", she says with a dangerous glint in her eyes. "I don't care who's a god or who started first. This is a goddamn arcade. If you want to fight, do it outside, otherwise, shut up or I'll shut you up myself."

"Holy- Trina!", Roy says, looking even more panicked now. "You're gonna get us in trouble now!"

"It only has to be trouble if they don't stop acting like fucking children. I almost feel embarrassed for them, and I am a child."

Roy just slowly looks at Nicole and the girl.

"... s-she, uh... doesn't exactly make empty threats, so... please stop?", he asks, definitely becoming more and more nervous now.

"I suppose it would, that's unfortunate"

She said, looking at the customers of the mall

"I remember the day I was santized, I never thought about how much it hurt"

Oca flickers for a nanosecond, and ZJ appears in his hands. He looks like he's like, around six, now?

"Uwah?"

He sets the kid down and points at Viche.

"Kill that guy."

"ACHACHAHAHA!"

ZJ lunges.

"What kind of degenerate do you take me for, of course."

Oca summons an array of mutant jerky, egg chips, bacon, and two bottles - one labeled HETAP, and the other PLUTONIUM WHISKEY.

"After the battle, I'd be glad to share some Revives and Full Heals with you."

Parasect vanishes into red light after U-Turn connects, and is replaced by a Snorlax.

It automatically uses Curse, boosting its physical stats and and lowering Speed.

Viche looks surprised when ZJ appears.

"Wait, a literal infant? Do you really want me to-"

And then ZJ lunges.

"OHSHIT-", he yelps, immediately trying to blast the kid out of the air with a Ki Blast.

Courne takes some bacon and eggs for himself as he starts to watch.

"Thanks."

"A-ah, no, that's okay, I do have a few Revives! Just not Awakenings and the like.", she says, looking like she doesn't want to trouble Red.

Horsea awakens now, though is still trapped in Leech Seed. Despite that, it looks ready to keep on fighting.

"Horsea, Twister!", she calls out, and it creates a draconic whirlwind, attempting to catch Snorlax in it. If it gets hit, it'll have a very low chance to make Snorlax flinch.

The ki blast knocks ZJ away and he falls to the ground. He looks a little scorched, but no worse for wear.

"Grrrr...!"

He flips onto his belly and starts scurrying towards Viche like a god damn spider, ZJ's tail flicking behind him.

Oca nods, and literally chugs the entire bottle of Hetap in less than a second.

He shrugs, but nods. It's not like items are any object to him.

Snorlax groans as the Twister takes a small chunk out of its HP, and... flinches, keeping it from Cursing again. Lucky you!

The HP is immediately gained back via Leech Seed, though.
