Enter The Arena As Your Avatar -- The Spinoff!

"Now, now, don't be rude."

The boy's scouter will suddenly blank out as it locks on to an energy signature too massive to calculate, so massive he can feel its presence even without the device. And then that energy disappears... and reappears right behind him.

If he dares to turn around, he will see what looks like some sort of living Saiyan legend - Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta!◊

Upon hearing a voice and noticing his Scouter blanking, the boy immediately starts looking around, eventually coming face to face with Gogeta.

"W... who the hell are you?", he asks, trying to look tough but clearly looking intimidated.

"I am Gogeta, a fusion of the most powerful Saiyans in history."

He folds his arms disapprovingly. "Descending to worlds to cleanse them of life- that's something I haven't seen attempted since Raditz. Who are you?"

"The most..."

He suddenly smirks.

"Hah! If that was true, I would've heard of you already!"

He points to himself.

"I'm Viche, the strongest Saiyan soldier of my platoon, serving directly under King Vegeta himself. And I'm not scared of some furry Saiyan wannabe."

"Hey, I can do music, if we need it."

With that, the three drop into the sewer behind the others, Cyan and Blue immediately recoiling at the smell.

"Yuck. You two smell that?"

"Y-Yeah..."

"I have no issue with it. Besides, we should try and keep up."

"... Right. Let's go."

The three start following, using flash-steps to catch up and keep up with the others.

... There's a walkway on the side of the sewer. Doesn't help with the smell, but it means that at least Mad Rat doesn't have to swim through sludge.

Alucard's arm suddenly emerges from a wall in the Bad Girl's path, blocking her, followed by the rest of him, aiming his guns at her face.    "I just want to talk,"    he jeers.

The Bad Girl doesn't waste a second. She jumps onto Alucard's arms and grabs him by the wrists before doing a spinning throw -

   "sonofaBITCH-"   

-to hurl him at his allies, then rushes on ahead.

"... Is that so?"

Gogeta flexes and releases a wave of explosive force from his body, enough to nearly kill Viche instantly. Kong sits down and watches.

Viche yelps in shock as the wave from a mere flex suddenly sends him crashing into the island. He does crawl back out of the rock he ended up in, already looking pretty wounded. His expression is one of shocked disbelief... which is pretty understandable all things considered.

"W-what the hell was that?", he shrieks, his voice breaking a little.

Gogeta suddenly appears in front of Viche, arms still folded.

"You've crossed into a world of nonlinear time," he explains. "Where I'm from, King Vegeta has been dead for decades. And so have Frieza and King Cold, for that matter. King Vegeta's heir is one-half of me - that's where the 'geta' comes from."

He narrows his eyes, smirks, and makes a Bring It gesture with his index finger. "And if you're so sure I'm making this up, I invite you to settle things with your fists."

"W-what the hell are you talking about? A different world? King Vegeta dead? His heir being a part of you? King Vegeta the Fourth is still alive and doesn't have a heir! And this is just some random planet I was assigned to! Did babysitting a monkey make you as dumb as one or something?", Viche growls, now thoroughly pissed and confused.

Of course, the boy's pride then flares up when Gogeta basically dares him to attack.

"You demented... whatever you are! I don't care if you have strong and fancy moves, I'll send you straight to Space-Hell!", he yells, flying towards Gogeta and intent on punching him in his smug face.

Oh, how quickly the foolish ones get blinded by their rage.

"Lots huh? I guess that's more competetion than I had before"

The girl noticed Nico's blush, but didn't comment

"So what are ya up to here?"

Gogeta's smile drops instantly. "Now hold on a moment."

Viche's fist passes through him like he's an afterimage, but he doesn't vanish. He just dodged that quickly.

"Vegeta the Fourth is the heir in question. I was talking about King Vegeta the Third being dead. I don't think it's as simple as past and future anymore."

Viche pauses when his attack seems to have just phased through Gogeta, blinking silently before looking up at the taller and stronger Saiyan once more.

"Are you daft? King Vegeta the Third is long dead. He lived to a ripe old age and then eventually died. Our current King Vegeta then ascended to the throne."

He crosses his arms, pouting and looking frustrated.

"Seriously, why are you testing me on my knowledge, monkey-man? This is the sort of history stuff we learn in kindergarten. And I don't know if you can tell, but I'm not that young!"

Gogeta rubs his forehead agitatedly. "Things weren't so peaceful in my timeline. Frieza blew up our planet, and Vegeta the Fourth and his brother Tarble were among the only survivors, along with Vegeta's attendant Nappa, two goons, and a pair of low-class children named Raditz and his little brother Kakarot."

If Viche is cool-headed enough to make sense of that, he may realize that this doesn't line up with wherever the 'Go' in Gogeta's name comes from, if the 'geta' is really from 'Vegeta'. None of the named Saiyans have a 'go' in their names.

"... what you're saying makes no sense, monkey-man. Let's just say I actually believe all your timeline bullshit, and your fusion crap, and the thought that, of all people, lower-class warriors like Raditz and Kakarot would survive a planetary explosion.", Viche says. "Then where the hell does the 'Go' in your name come from, huh? There are no Saiyans with 'go' in their names, and if there's supposedly only a handful of them left in your 'timeline', then that means it's even more impossible."

He grins and crosses his arms.

"Get rekt."

Pietro ducks just in time to avoid the oncoming Alucard, dashes after Bad Girl Rin, and attempts to ensnare her with a Chaos Magic replica of Wonder Woman's lasso. If successful, he'll follow up by attempting to throw her into one of the sewer walls.

   "Any of you color guys wanna start singing that positive message? Now'd be a really good time to start."   

Nicole downs the rest of her cocktail and tosses the glass away.

"So, how the hell did you learn that crazy magic and get roped into this Gravitas business, Hatsune? Don't tell me Narktus went and slaughtered all the other Vocaloids."

She greets Ban with a wave.

Gogeta breaks Viche's arm with such speed and precision that Viche won't even feel it until a few seconds after Gogeta finishes talking.

"Raditz was on another world at the time, one of Vegeta and Nappa's cronies. Kakarot had been sent to another planet as a baby to take it over, but he got brain-damaged so hard that he forgot his Saiyan conqueror's instincts and changed his name to Goku. Eventually, Raditz came to that planet to check on his brother, but Kakarot killed him instead, and proceeded to train until he could defeat Vegeta and Nappa when they followed. That's where the 'Go' comes from."

Seras, Walter and Locke would take notice of this walkway were it not for the fact that they're all focusing on chasing Bad Girl Rin down. ... they will likely feel really silly later.

When Alucard is getting flung their way, Seras is about to catch him, but then Walter does it instead, using his wires as a wall for Alucard to stop against.

"You're faster than the two of us.", Walter says to Seras as he gestures to himself and Locke. "Just keep going for that Rin, we'll handle the rear until we properly catch up with you and Pietro."

Seras nods, then launches forward, even passing by Pietro and, regardless of if Pietro's attack on Bad Girl Rin works, will attempt to get past her as well.

If successful, she'll spread the energy of her vampiric arm behind her to create a makeshift wall. It's not a fully solid wall, but it would still slow Bad Girl Rin down if she tries to force her way past.

Locke uses his corruptive powers to push the sewer water out of the way, making it so that the people in the back of the group will have an easier (and less disgusting) time making their way over to the others.

Ban waves back and sits down somewhere a bit closer to the others, but not so close that he'd be intruding. He gets himself some more alcohol after.

"... sure, alright. So 'Goku' became brain damaged, but also suddenly became powerful enough to defeat Counselor Nappa and King Vegeta in a fight with mere training despite being a low-class warrior. You must think I'm a real idiot if-"

And then he registers the pain, pausing for a moment.

"... aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH-"

He falls on the ground, clutching his arm in pain as he lets out a pained scream.

And I don't know what am doing here. By the way, you mentioned something about "competition"... What bring you to this place?

Miku creates a small fireball in her hand. "As for the magic, I have alweis ben ceipable of whatever piipole think I can duu. Much fan work diipicts mii as powerful, so I am."

"...pfeh." Ruby cracks a slight smile.

"Sure, then. Do your thing, little guy."

"Well, he didn't just train," Gogeta remarks over the sound of Viche screaming. "Some liberal applications of zenkai here, some learned power-up techniques there..."

"Okay what the FUCK is happening here," remarks Callis◊ as she flies in. "I look away from the Arena for five seconds and now Gogeta is arguing with a Saiyan from Courne's timeline and you broke his damn arm..."

"Heh."

Viche doesn't really hear Gogeta's explanation on account that he's still screaming during it. By the time he stops, Callis has already arrived and is berating Gogeta.

"F-freaking... freak...", he mutters as he glances back, now seeing Callis as well. He quickly staggers back a bit while still on the ground and still holding his arm, moving his legs to get a bit more distance between himself and Gogeta.

"G-get lost! Go away! I-I won't hurt your stupid monkey, alright!?", he says to Gogeta, now definitely looking more scared. Seems like he's finally starting to realize how dangerous Gogeta can be.

"Heh, okay. I'll leave you be." Gogeta bawoops away.

Callis kneels down over Viche and pops a Senzu Capsule for that broken arm. "So... with that little incident behind us, I have a question. Out of curiosity, do you know the name 'Courne'?"

"People seriously think you're some kinda all-powerful sorceress who could level a friggin' army if she wanted to? Heh, remind me to look up this fanwork you're talking about later."

Nicole leans back in her seat.

"Anyway, I know you ain't part of his posse, but when do you think Snake'll be back? The sooner he hears the good news about Narktus, the sooner we can start working on a plan to take the fight to Gravitas."

Viche is definitely still a bit shaken and doesn't exactly trust Callis, his wary expression reflecting this. As such, he backs off some more when she tries to use the Senzu Capsule, only eventually stopping because he has to when he hits a rock with the back of his head.

When he hears her question, he still looks wary, but also a little questioning.

"... Courne?", he asks. "... y-yeah, I do. Why?"

"I was curious. He's around here too. If you don't want everyone you meet to try to kill you, I'd suggest finding him first."

Her eyes and aura briefly turn a sky blue, and if Viche's Scouter is still actively running, it won't display 'incalculable' - it'll give an error message.

"Because you will die otherwise, and it'll be hilarious."

With that, she vanishes with Instant Transmission, leaving Viche alone with his thoughts.
