   "Alright, alright, enough!"    The Zoroark dispels the illusory Radiance.

   "Now back off, or I'll make it really hurt next time."   

Space Fortress Gravitas

"Sir, reporting on the situation of the Polychronology Realm!"

"Oh?"

"An acquaintance of one of the survivors of our attacks has entered the Arena. In the details you received from the 'author', she is only mentioned as a side character and love interest."

"Hmm... Leave her be, then. We did enough damage striking down four of the Big Five, no need to inspire a rampage of revenge by killing a civilian."

Nicole takes out her own phone and shows her number to Alexa.

"Glali told you what happened with Narktus, right? Well, don't worry, I'm gonna make him and his little legion of doom wish they'd never even considered doing something that fucked up."

NORMAL NORMAL NO KING KONG GUN!! Luffy leaps far in the air, shattering the street below him, and goes for a devastating downward final punch!

It didnt leave though. it used another instinct. if the enemy is stronger make yourself look bigger

Nosk sprouted its wings and sto on uts hind legs for a few seconds to try and intimidate the zoroark. it was clear thst this nosk didnt have comprehension skills anymore

Teora

Dan charges a Gadoken, but then closes his fist and jumps up...

Dan: "GADOKORYUKEN!"

Unleashing a mighty uppercut coated with the energy from the Gadoken!

RCB fires it's beak cannon again, a smaller, yet more potent beam of magic searing towards the bot.

From behind the Airbuster, Rimuru suddenly appeared, moving at the same speed he was when he originally disappeared.

"Strengthen body!"

His body hardened up to the density of steel. Unless stopped, Rimuru would impact against the Airbuster, hopefully shooting straight through it.

"Actually, Terlette filled me in, but I digress. Good luck."

"Yeah." Nik pays for the wrecked bowl and another order.

The Airbuster is punctured by Rimuru's impact, then what remains gets crumpled by punches from above and below, exploding moments later.

With a resigned sigh, Luna force-teleports the fighters back to the Arena, where a hologram of her is there to greet them.

"Never speak to me again." A sword appears out of thin air before the hologram disappears.

The Zoroark huffs.

   "I'll make this easy, then."   

His image distorts and vanishes, before he reappears right in front of the Nosk and attempts to uppercut it hard enough to launch it into the air, whereupon he will dash back and forth, slicing away at it with Fury Swipes, before spiking it into the dirt.

Luffy get the sword and wave at the air. See ya, angry invisible lady! He says, before departing the premise.

"Thanks. Just gotta figure out how to un-brainwash a certain pair, then round up a team strong enough to kick his genocidal ass," Nicole replies, putting her phone away. "And Glali? Remind me to introduce you to that Snake dude and his resistance force."

Ugo, clearly amused with himself, chortles again and then gleefully accepts the petting, hopping down onto Ninten's shoulder in order to make himself more easy to reach. Lucien smirks.

"Now, wait a moment, for being my familiar, Ugo definitely seems to have taken a shine to you..."

Grymm shrugs.

   "To be honest, I'm as intrigued about this dragon as I am about the canary. Who knows, maybe a Gold Dragon could just end up appearing in the Arena one day and you could get a look for yourself?"   

Lucien listens to Ana, and nods, smiling.

"I appreciate your concern. I do indeed realize how dangerous some of the people, creatures, and beings who appear here are. After all, I not only participated in the encounter with that Neo character, however unwillingly, but I also watched as Grymm dueled Hisoka. Considering that I did end up perishing in the former case, and the latter individual once gave me a look that seemed to say that, after believing he had slain Grymm, he wished to turn his sights to me, I have all too much of an understanding of these matters."

Upon hearing what Ninten says about people who've done some pretty terrible things being given a second chance, he gives a quiet sigh, seeming somewhat distant for a moment. However, he smiles back upon being reminded of how he protected Ninten's sisters, nodding.

"I try my best. After all, even for my unnatural situation and magical prowess, I am still just one boy."

Grymm blinks, tilting his head.

   "...perhaps...it's...not like I have anywhere to go, anyway. Certainly not back where I came from, even if I had the right components to cast a spell to do so in the first place."   

Lucien then gives Ninten a suspicious look when it seems like he's withholding information from him, but smirks when the conversation cycles back to ettiquite.

"I was born the son of a noble family. Would you not think I knew poor ettiquite when I saw it?"

He then stifles a laugh upon hearing Ana's quip, and then shrugs.

"Ah, there are many kinds of dragon from just as many worlds, after all. When you take that fact into account, chances are that there is at least one with a personality that resonates with your own. Why, from the realm that Grymm hails from, there is a type of Metallic Dragon that can be just as flighty as I have seen you be, though they are also greatly greatly protective of their friends and family. Those would be the Mercury Dragons."

"What can I say? When animals aren't possessed by alien overlords they really like me in return.", Ninten chuckles as he continues petting Ugo.

"I wouldn't mind a chance to get close to one to research it. By close observation I mean, not through experiments.", Lloyd says to Grymm. "Though I also know better than to assume that a dragon would just let me do that."

Ana nods, looking a little concerned.

"I haven't met that Hisoka man myself, but I've heard enough about him to know that sounds just like him. He sounds crazy, but at least he's genuinely helping us I suppose."

Ninten, while momentarily worried over Lucien's reaction, smiles again as well when he's talking again.

"That's all we can really do, huh? Our best.", he says with a tone that suggests he understands what Lucien means by that to a personal level. He then sheepishly smiles.

"W... well, I mean... I'm at least decent with it, right?", he asks, looking at Ana as well, who just looks amused as she shakes her head.

"You better get started on practicing it if you want to become a police detective. Without it you won't get much opportunity to get closer to rich crime suspects.", she giggles, after which Ninten lets out a defeated sigh.

"You're probably right."

He then hears what Lucien says and completely drifts off of the subject with his pondering.

"I wonder, if I found such a dragon, if we'd be best of friends or if we wouldn't be able to stand each other."

Lloyd just shakes his head in amusement as well as he finishes up his tea and treat. He'd been talking the least of the three, so naturally he'd finish before them.

"..."

"... urgh... w... what...? what is... happening? Why can't I see? ... My eyes... I cannot open them..."

"Locke's voice... am I back in the base? But then why do I smell fire? Why are they not worried about the fire? They must be able to smell it as well, right?"

ALL ABILITIES RESTORED. ENERGY RE-ROUTING TO ONLY VITAL AREAS DISMISSED, SENDING ENERGY TO ALL FUNCTIONS

"Alright, that was the last of it."

"That voice... who is that? It's familiar, but... wait, that's Fire Man, isn't it? What is he referring to? Is he the source of the smell?"

"Ah... I can open my eyes now..."

Pseudo's Base

Light harshly hits Pseudo's vision as he slowly opens his eyes, looking around. He's on a table of some sort... or is it a bed?

"Brother!", Pilly◊ happily cries out before basically glomping him.

"Ack! P-Pilly? What's going on?", he asks, uncertain and surprised.

"Now that you're awake, I'd like to ask you the same question.", Toa Helryx◊ says, sitting on a chair besides Pseudo's bed, arms and legs crossed.

"What do you mean? What happened?", Pseudo asks, now looking at her while Pilly's still hugging him. As such, he sees that Botar◊ and Locke◊ are also with her.

"What happened is that you collapsed after you tried to save Konngara.", Botar says. "Your legs gave out and broke when you were saying your goodbye to her and you shut off completely. Pilly was panicking and got me to bring you back here before your other allies even had a chance to do anything to help."

Pseudo looks back at Pilly.

"Why did you follow me?"

"Why? Is that a serious question!?", Pilly says, suddenly looking angry, surprising Pseudo. "You've been wasting away in the basement for weeks, you've neglected your own recharges, and then you go and personally fight against an extremely powerful enemy all by yourself, without bringing any of us along? Were you trying to die!?"

"I-I... n-no, of course not."

"Do you have any idea how afraid I was when I couldn't find you anywhere, and Botar had to tell me he'd brought you to a very dangerous place only minutes earlier? I-I nearly slammed him to the ground for even bringing you there in the first place! I ordered him to bring me there immediately, and it was just in time too! One moment later and you would've been burnt to nothing!"

"I was already looking for some of our allies to send in as backup when I came across Pilly. The moment when I felt how hot the area was, I knew that you weren't ready to fight whatever was causing it. I chose to ignore your insistence to go about it alone.", Botar says to Pseudo, narrowing his eyes a little.

"Botar and Pilly are right to be concerned. I understand that this Konngara woman means a lot to you, but you cannot expect to simply go from long inactivity to being able to fight a warrior of her level, or even higher, if Pilly's recount of fighting Shadow Konngara is accurate. And especially not alone.", Helryx says. "You nearly perished."

Pseudo is silent, just glancing down.

"..."

"Your body was broken and your systems were highly damaged, brother! Had it not been for Locke working on the latter, Fire Man◊ working on melding your body again and Elec Man◊ giving you a constant source of electricity, you would not have survived!", Pilly says. Pseudo looks at her again, then notices the two Robot Masters standing on the other end of the room, both appearing worried as well.

"... thank you.", Pseudo says, to which the two only nod in response. Pseudo sits upright now, looking at everyone in the room.

"I fully understand how completely foolish my actions were from any logical standpoint. Konngara is the reason I did not meet my end as a pathetically broken underling of Porky Minch. My desire to help her outweighed everything else I was going through, and the urgency of the situation left me with no room to truly consider the best possible options.", Pseudo says. "I'm sorry for making you worry. However, I do not regret coming to her aid when she needed me."

"Wanting to help her was never the problem. That was admirable of you, putting your own problems aside for the sake of helping a friend. Wanting to help her on your own despite your condition without regards to how that would affect others, as well as your own health, was.", Helryx says as she stands up, gaze fierce. "I'd say it's only fitting to call it idiotic. A move that I did not come to expect from the person who convinced me to lay down arms and offered a solution for the people of my world in return."

"Does this mean... our coalition-"

"No, we are still allies. But if you make a habit of this sort of behavior, then I'll have to rethink what is best for us."

"Understandable. ... thank you."

Her gaze softens a bit.

"I hope you understand the severity of the situation. You were out of order for around two weeks."

"Two weeks...", Pseudo mutters, surprised.

"I would like to run a few more tests on you, to see how your systems and data chips took all this. Considering that you lost a lot of battle data after Galeem's attack, we have to be sure nothing similar happened here.", Locke says. "What I also wonder is... how do you feel in general?"

"We refueled you with that weird goop you always recharge with. You should at least be feeling better from a functional standpoint.", Fire Man says.

"So we mostly mean in a mental sense.", Elec Man says.

"You mean to ask if I'm feeling any better after having been in action again. Is that it?", Pseudo asks, after which he sighs.

"No. No, I do not. In fact, I may feel a bit worse. However, I still do not regret doing it. Who knows what might have happened to Konngara otherwise?"

"I was expecting as much. You'll still need some time to heal. Well, my tests will likely take a few more days anyway, so some of that time you'll have to spend with someone to talk to at all times. Maybe that will help."

"I will continue running the organization for you for a while longer. But I will not do this indefinitely. Keep that in mind and try to recover instead of mindlessly wallowing in self pity.", Helryx says.

"Understood..."

"And next time you find information, even if you find it unimportant, do not hesitate to share it with us instead of dismissing it. The final diary chapter may not have been of help even if we had read it before setting out to battle, but that does not mean we should be left in the dark about it."

"... huh?", Pseudo asks, appearing confused.

"Alright, I'll have to ask everyone else to leave for now. The sooner we get this testing over, the better.", Locke says. Helryx nods to him before looking back at Pseudo.

"Get well soon, Pseudo Porky.", she says, showing a small smile, after which she walks out of the room. Botar, Elec Man and Fire Man follow her, while Pilly gives him one more hug for now.

"I'll be back the moment these testings are over, alright? And... please promise me you're never going to risk your life like this again."

"... I... I am not sure I can safely promise that."

"Brother-"

"But I will promise you that I will never again take on such a danger on my own when I have allies I can count on."

Pilly shows a sad smile.

"I suppose I'll have to take that... get better quickly!"

Once she lets go, she leaves the room, though looks at him all the way until she has to close the door behind her.

"You have made some fine friends in the Order of Mata Nui. And your sister worries a lot about you.", Locke says.

"You're about to say I should take my allies' standpoints into account more and not simply act on my own, aren't you?", Pseudo asks.

"I didn't know you copied Ninten's telepathy.", Locke jokes with a smirk. Pseudo can't help but chuckle a little, despite the way he still feels.

"Such an ability would be handy. But I don't think I'm capable of copying it."

"A shame. Well then, let's not dawdle."

"Indeed.", Pseudo says, after which he glances at the door, in deep thought.

The Maximoffs twins wander through the stony streets of Markarth, conversing amongst themselves.

"You know, I haven't heard from Rin in... a while now, actually. I'm starting to get a little worried," Pietro says. "If she's being held hostage like Lucas was..."

"Then you'll break her out and make her captors realize what a huge mistake they've made," Wanda assures. "You want my advice? Bring Seras along for the rescue. The two of you make a really good team."

"Heh, I was just thinking of finding her myself. Speaking of finding people, make sure you track down Ovarr before Thanos rolls up to this place again."

"Trust me, Pietro, I've been keeping an eye out for him ever since we recovered from that whole Konngara incident."

Suddenly, as if the universe both wanted to help them out as well as troll them at the same time, something crashes into the ground behind Wanda and Pietro, which may cause quite the scare.

If they turn around they'll see a giant silhouette in the dust kicked up from the landing, and once that dust settles, they'll be able to see that it's Ovarr.

Twilight Sepulcher

Team Rocket◊ is sneaking through the area, all of them looking around nervously, shivering from fear.

"Remind me again why we came to a tomb?"

"Because this device says Gorochu's energy signal was located somewhere in this area."

"I bet it's hidin' around da place just to jumpscare us once we pass it..."

"Wobbu..."

Something moves from the shadows cast by this place...

The hairs on Meowth's neck and tail stand on end, sensing that something just moved.

"Meooowth... guys, I don't think we're alone right now..."

"You mean as in... 'we found Gorochu'-not alone, or..."

"As in 'we're being followed by something else'-not alone...?"

"I... think it's the latter..."

After a brief pause, Team Rocket then decides to do the most logical thing. They...

jump behind Red for protection, all baring a sheepish smile.

"Well, whatever's out there, you got this!"

"You're a top trainer after all!"

"Go get 'em, champion!"

"Wobbu!"

Jumping in surprise, the Maximoffs immediately wheel around to face the newly-arrived Ovarr.

"Jesus! If you were trying to give me a freaking heart attack or something, then mission almost accomplished!" Pietro says.

"Be honest, how long were you waiting to drop in unannounced?" Wanda inquires. "Maybe it's just a hunch, but I doubt it's a coincidence that you found us here."

Red narrows his eyes, but does not argue the case. He walks into the shadows...

And there appears what looks like a Hex Maniac, only instead of a person, it's a humanoid dragon. She still looks like she jumped right out of the world of Pokémon, though.

   "OMG OMG OMG! You're Red! The legendary Red who saved the world and proved it was possible to form a true bond with Pokémon! You're a living legend! Oh my Giratina I should've brought cookies with me..."   

She seems to be... rather energetic.

Ovarr looks them both over, grinning a little.

   "Well, Mara did describe you two to me, but from up in the sky it was a bit hard to make out, so I didn't land until I was sure I had the right people. It'd be embarrassing to get the wrong people. ... not that I ever would, I'm a professional."   

... he says that as if that did happen to him and he doesn't want to admit it.

   "Regardless-"   , he says, immediately changing the subject as he flicks his tail a little and folds his wings.    "Now that I found you, we should go somewhere where it's safe to talk about details. Talking about matters of attack plans out in the open is just asking to get yourself found out by your enemy."   

Team Rocket just stares, looking genuinely speechless.

"Out of everything I was expecting to see..."

"This wasn't on the list..."

"I guess it's natural for a strong trainer like him to have fans, but what's she doin' in a place like dis?"

Admittedly a little curious, they approach the girl as well.

   "O-oh! Where are my manners, should've figured someone like you wouldn't know every random passerby..."    The Dragonborn bows.

   "I'm Kikio, cleric of our glorious lord in the Distortion World. Big fan of your work, bee-tee-dubs. Sinnoh native, currently on a job in Hoenn..."

"With how long it took to find you, I was beginning to worry that Mara had forgotten all about our bargain. Now come on, before we have a Skrull or two on our hands."

"If you're wondering what the hell Skrulls are, I'll explain everything in a bit."

Motioning for Ovarr to follow them, Wanda and Pietro proceed to head down into Cidhna Mine.

   "It was more that I happened to be residing in a difficult to find place."   , Ovarr says, after which he starts following them.

   "Alright. Mara only gave me the general picture, so I'm relying on you two to give me the more important details."   

The four look at each other for a moment.

"What's a cleric?"

"It should mean she's a nurse, right?"

"But the only Pokemon in the Distortion World is..."

They then turn to Kikio, showing some pleasant smiles.

"Well, as good friends of Red, I hope you'll permit us to ask..."

"What does the Legendary Pokemon Giratina need a nurse for?"

"And what kind of Pokemon do you have?"

"Wobbu!"

   "Oh, I don't serve him personally, as nice as that would be. I act as an enforcer on his will in the mortal world, spreading faith through miracles performed with his power. Healing is part of my duties, but I wouldn't call myself a nurse."   

Red looks at the Rocket Trio. Then at Kikio.

• Really? That's neat.
• I... don't think we're from the same world.
• (Remain silent)
• Bye.

Once the three have reached Madanach's personal quarters in Cidhna Mine, Pietro sits down upon the bed whereas Wanda takes a seat at the desk.

"Right, so you remember Thanos, yeah? Smug purple asshole, flies around in a giant spaceship, has an army of aliens and a squad of psychopaths who all kiss the ground he walks on..."

"Make absolutely sure that we weren't followed down here, by the way, Ovarr. I don't want to risk our plan of attack going horribly wrong again."

Once they get there, Ovarr, a bit too big to really sit down anywhere, chooses to lean against the nearest wall.

   "Yeah, he was the rallyman behind the groups fighting back against Galeem and Dharkon. By your description of him I suppose it was purely out of necessity."   , he says. He then raises an eyebrow and makes the book strapped to his belt float. It opens as he looks through it.

He starts speaking some unknown language, perhaps demonic in nature, after which a small wave passes through the area, coming out of the book. Once that's done, he closes it.

   "If anyone followed us with ill intent, the spell I just cast will have them experience a torturous amount of pain for the next six hours."   , he casually says as if that's not a terrifying spell to cast.    "They'll be in too much pain to hear or even register anything we're saying."   

"... huh. How does that work?", Jessie asks, seeming genuinely curious. James, about to ask something as well, gets distracted when the device sensing Gorochu's energy starts to beep louder.
