RCB perches on the edge of the least destroyed building, and quickly puts on a pair of baller shades as he manifests his little beat box and plays the Final Fantasy victory theme.

Dan taunts. Excessively. As always.

"No," Nik insists. "Let's finish this story now so I don't have to return to it later."

"Somehow, it missed any major arteries or the like, but my larynx was mangled by the wound. Most of my attempts to talk were reduced to raspy exhales."

"I had left my training with Master Mikael sometime before the incident, but afterwards I came back to him. He taught me how to control my sound manipulation with enough power and precision to render Alex audible again as long as we were near each other... and as the only one who could do so, I found myself as the personal caretaker of my former nemesis."

"It was after this that I decided to pursue a career in music - to replace the voice I thought I had lost forever."

A hand comes out and catches Luffy's elbow drop, creating a powerful shockwave with the impact.

A new flavor of death machine emerges.

Those Who Fight Further

The Airbuster launches a number of floating mines into the air, which explode with a paralyzing electric current when anyone gets too close.

Zoroark is battered by the retaliatory swipes. He opts to dash back, disappearing in a blur before reappearing some distance away.

   If only Blacky were here,    he bemoans to himself.    That's our only member with proper psychic powers.   

Luffy's blown into the mines and howl as he get electrocuted. Here's another thing he forgot!

AIEIAIEIAIEIAIIEIAIEIAIIAIEIAIEIAIEII He yells, falling down. It take him a while to recover, but he attempts to leap into the air. If he succeeds, he'll likely jump up very far!

If he does, then he start to spin, then point down, coat his legs in haki, and start descending down, the friction causing fire to appear around his body. NORMAL NORMAL MORTAR!!!

Right away, a little flying drone dropped down from a hatch in the ceiling, carrying down an ice pack for Miles before scurrying off. Kazami, meanwhile, looked puzzled at his friend's sudden reaction, before the realization hit him. "Wh- Oh, right, we see the world pretty, uh, differently than you guys do." The Avali carefully sat next to Miles, grabbing the ice pack and carefully placing it on his forehead. "Here you go - this'll help the headache, I hope."

"T-Thanks..." Miles gently took the ice pack and placed it to his noggin, letting out a sigh of relief. He held it there for a few moments before pushing himself to sit up, still holding said ice pack, "It was...crazy. My vision was totally out of whack, to the point I could barely even make out you were in front of me...but that wasn't the worst part..."

He shook his head before glancing off to the side, "My hearing...it was...on a whole other level. I could hear everything around me like somebody had taken even the smallest kind of noise and cranked the volume up to twelve. It was just...too much for my brain to handle...I don't even want to consider what would happen if I tried enhancing it with my other powers..."

It was clear the lad was more than a little shaken up by this situation. He glanced over at his friend, "How...are you able to handle something like that?"

"So while you were taking care of Alex, you two ended up falling in love," Nicole says, smiling as she eats a few more noodles. "Hey, I know what happened to her was friggin' horrible, but... at least one good thing came out of it."

Her gaze flickers to Alexa.

"Think you could send me some of your songs? I bet you've made some real bangers."

Teora, Throne Room

Gwain, watching the fight from one of the palace's windows, does an eye twitch after a bit of observing Luffy and Dan.

"Hume. . . Okay, okay... They'll leave when they're done, they totally will... They'll leave on their own and I won't have to go down there and make them."

Rimaru jolted back, his eyes quickly darting between all the mines.

"Great Sage... What are those?"

"Very clearly they are mines. You've seen them before."

"Just wanted to make sure..."

He pulled his hands back, around his fingers were thin lines, as he pulled, razor sharp, nearly indestructible lines started closing in on the robot, if the robot was caught by them, he would be shredded!

"Universal Thread!"

Nosk just ran over to zoroark again, going for more swipes, clearly not having any battle strategy other than attack wildly

"SKREEEE"

it tried to stab through them, to kil quickly

Alexa gives Nicole a thumbs-up.

"The story doesn't end there, though."

"The werewolf part isn't that important."

"I think you getting your voice back was pretty fucking important."

"Well that's 'cause you're a big sap." Alexa preemptively cancels out Nik's rebuttal with another kiss on the cheek.

Zoroark gets impaled, spitting up blood, but he's far too tough to die from such a hit. While struggling to free himself from the Nosk's limb, he uses Scary Face, using his illusory power to create the most menacing visage the Nosk's simple mind can imagine in an attempt to cow it into submission.

Teora

Dan does one last jumping taunt before the robot comes back up and shoots mines, one of them being close enough to shock him and have him land on the ground in a comical defeat pose.

He gets up and holds his head.

RCB clones itself and then goes off in two different directions, both clones firing Thundaga bolts at the bot while spiraling around it before the clones recombine at the top and fire a massive bolt of lightning!

Nicole drops her chopsticks into the bowl, clearly surprised.

"I could've sworn you said something about Alex not knowing how to fight..."

The Airbuster's shiny, Arena-bullshit-reinforced hide withstands the Universal Thread, which only cuts a bit into its plating. Luffy's divebomb blows it back, but it looks only mildly damaged by that compared to the massive damage its previous form was taking from such attacks. The Thundaga, however, does more damage than it would've before, perhaps suggesting it traded some of its magic resistance for physical resistance.

It begins to build up energy...

Throne Room

Luna strolls in beside Gwain. "So... I, um, I guess I should apologize for this one. I had a whole script for those guys to follow and everything, but the moment they saw my robot they just went apeshit. I actually feel kinda bad about the increased collateral."

That's so unfair! I don't have magical spells to throw around! Grumbles Luffy, getting to his feet and dusting himself off. He coat his left arm in haki and uses Observation Haki, something which he still has (to his delight), to start to see a little into the future. His eyes leave a red trail as he does this.

Once he start to run, Luffy attempts to dodge the attacks as best as he can, skillfully leaping around obstacles or dodging attacks entirely before he leap towards his foe, throwing his arm back. Luckily, the sheer friction set his fucking arm on fire, and he grins!

NORMAL NORMAL NO RED HAWK! He yells, slamming his fire-coated black arm right at the large robot!

"Huh... Y'know, if you want, I could give her some training," Nicole offers. "She might need it in case, well, a certain tinpot motherfucker decides to try finishing what he started."

Nosk stops.

All it sees in its head is the radaince, whichc seems to shock and scare it and make it shake and scream in fear

"SKREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"

It wasnt attacking, it was breaking down

Gwain just looks at her.

"What did you expect? Half of them are humans. Barbarians."

She turns back towards the window.

"What was your plan anyways? I figured you would be focusing on the other place, given that... the one you kept sending things after is staying there now, too."

Dan gets back up, running under the bot, hopping up and-

Dan: "KORYUKEN!"

Going for a mighty uppercut, aiming to possibly knock the bot up a bit, or at least off balance.

RCB casts Magneza on the bot, not only trying to make it's limbs of sorts stick to it's body, but also aiming to pull in the mines and make them hit the main bot.

There are no mines left to magnetize.

The Airbuster endures the blows as best it can, before unleashing its charged attack - a giant laser of death called the Tankbuster! And no limbs required!

After the blast, however, it overheats, leaving it vulnerable to a big retaliation.

"I wanted to run a field test of the new model, built using resources and specs from that 'other place'. Also, to embarrass you, make it look like you can't do anything without the help of the outsiders you so despise. While that's proven true where I'm concerned, it's a lot less theatric of a display than I was hoping for. Spectacular, sure, but there's no flair, no point, it's just turned out to be a sudden attack and then a fight."

She smirks. "Which I've been led to believe is commonplace in the 'other place', for that matter. Are you sure you don't worry about the... ex-princess at all? There are things more dangerous than humans around there..." Luna leans pressingly close to Gwain with the smirk on her face getting increasingly smug.

Zoroark manages to slip free in that moment and stumbles away. He sees the Radiance's visage created by his illusion, and even he is momentarily taken aback.

   "What are you...?"   

Shaking his head, he pulls out a berry with a question mark on it, eating it in two quick bites to heal his most grievous wound.

The longer it saw the image the more panicked it got, screaming lunder and clawing randomly and wildly. it handt been infected thanks to its chaotic and indesicive mind but it atill saw and felt pain from the radiance.

"SKREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE"

It started clawing at its own face, whatever the radiance was its clear nosk wanted it away

Nicole finishes her remaining noodles.

"Don't be afraid to give me a call either, alright, Alex? If Narktus sends his attack dogs after you and Glali again, they're gonna have to go through me first."

Luffy put his arms up but get blown backwards pretty far away, at least to a degree where he very nearly reach the entrance of the place to begin with.

He look back, goes "nah", and then dive right back in. By now, he's obviously torn up, and seems to be slowing down, but he still decide to exploit his foe's lack of movement by trying to... punch it really hard with his left haki-coated arm.

NORMAL NORMAL NO KING KONG GUN!

The slime had zoned out, getting hit full force by the Tankbuster. He got blown back a mile away from the fight before he came to his senses...

Although he was all but a pile of goop now, his skill infinite regeneration his various different slimey bits formed back into the little ball.

Once he was nice and recovered, he formed back into a human again, his wings sprouting from his back as he flew back into the fight at ineradicable speeds. Breaking the sound barrier just before impact.

"Formhide!"

His body vanished from sight completely.

She growls, but can't really refute the point of her being useless. Fighting and magic ability aside, Gwain hasn't really done much of import during her tenure as queen. Hell, even the kingdom getting modernized is arguably more Luna's doing than hers.

"Ami has one of them at her beck and call. I'd hardly call her vulnerable. ... I'm not gonna bullshit, what I did was sort of short-sighted and reactionary. But I'm not going back on banning the human whelp from my palace."

"And, I never formally revoked anything other than that. She's still the princess and can get back to doing what she used to, provided she comes home without him in tow."

Teora

Dan is still under the mech, so he's naturally our of range.

He fires Gadokens up at the bottom of it before running full-speed out from under it.

RCB gets hit by the blast, but comes out of it pretty fast, roughened up for sure but protected by two rapidly spinning Keyblades.

The bird rushes in, the blades slashing at the bot in various flavors of magic as it charges up another beak cannon.
