Someone, on the other side of the Time Rift, understand that some time fuckery is happening. He also understand that the enemy has fled en masse to another point in time, somewhere far, far into the future.

It won't save him.

   I am the cold steel. I am the just sword. With blade in hand shall I reap the sins of this world and cleanse it in the fires of destruction!   

Hakumen jump right through the time rift and make a most dramatic entrance by trying to slash at the Demon Tide with both his keyblade and his sword!

   I am Hakumen, the end has come!

Windu observes the key.

I suppose that's the part where we search for a fitting door.

He is frozen, but fine with this. It's insanely uncomfortable - but fuck, at least he isn't on fire anymore.

"... Okay, I need to get a grip."

Rbade starts charging a shot from within the ice.

"Yeah, I've got an idea: Pseudo, you stop buying all this crap about these stupid robots being a Thanos-level threat before Cyber stabs you in the back," Pietro says. "And Cyber, you drop all this manipulative bullshit and piss off!"

"Can't you see that Cyber here is obviously playing you like a goddamn violin, Pseudo? I thought you were smarter than this," Wanda adds, shaking her head. "Please don't tell me you've taken everything he's told you about the Cyber Angels at face value."

The two Hubs are definitely taken aback by Narktus, of all people, suddenly appearing. Still, they're aware of the truce, so they let him in, though they do appear a little nervous that the situation may become more tense inside the hut.

Meanwhile, Pseudo raises an eyebrow while Cyber doesn't really react at all.

"Naturally, no. I'm not naive.", he admits, to which Cyber doesn't take offense. "That is why I brought Axonn. I'm not sure if you've met him before, but he's the burly one standing next to Botar."

If they look at Axonn, he'll just silently raise a hand in greeting. Botar smirks.

"Axonn's mask power lets him detect when someone lies. If anyone in this room is trying to pull a fast one, then we'll know."

"Now, I know we're not best of friends, but I'm not sure I like being blatantly insulted by the two of you.", Cyber says. "We're all trying our best to be civil, so if you can't behave, then leave."

"Now, now, there's no reason for Wanda and Pietro to leave. We agreed that this is a meeting anyone can attend as long as they're not one of the Cyber Angels.", Pseudo says.

"And I will honor that as long as we can all treat each other with respect.", he says, after which he sits down on a chair. Mr L looks annoyed, but for some strange reason it seems to be focused on just Pietro, and not Wanda.

The longer Wanda, Pietro, Pseudo, and the Assassins talk, the more angry Narktus seems to get.

Looming tall to seem more imposing, Narktus declares, "Alright, you little shits, listen up. Thanos wanted nothing with the Arena; only to take some time off there and find new troops to add to his forces. If nobody bothered him, I doubt he'd have stayed as long as he did. Galeem attacked once and loitered around while his victims-turned-servants fought without coordination until he was almost beaten. Gravitas has hardly even done anything of note in the Arena yet!"

He slams a fist on the table. "The Cyber Angels are different. They're organized. They have a fortress. The fortress was untouchable last I tried to get in. And they're motivated to kill us. Every second we spend not attacking them, they're spending attacking us. They may not have as much power as Thanos or be as imposing as Galeem, but they are certainly more dangerous. Now quit your bitching and stop assuming the other party is wrong or lying about this mutual threat that you have never seen in action for yourselves just because you don't like them!"

Narktus shakes his head and turns away in disgust.

"People like you who point accusatory fingers and cry wolf without solid evidence, without reason, out of personal distaste - who conform to this idealized view of good and evil where anyone who's evil must be always looking to screw someone over or anyone who's good must never trust their enemies, and get unreasonably hostile when it's not that simple - I may be evil, but how can you stand to call yourselves heroes?!"

Garden Of Color

Greyface's missiles make impacts, followed by holes, but patch up quickly.

Sonic's attack doesn't seem to do much of anything...

And then Hakumen happens; the properties of the Keyblade combined with the anti magus on Hakumen's naginata cleaves the Demon Tide right in two...

Making it two smaller, faster, just as dangerous Demon Tides.

Tide A swings at Hakumen in retaliation, planning to swallow him whole.

Tide B fires a sort of dark laser at Sonic and Greyface.

Ansem simply puts up a barrier.

Ansem: "It's not me you should be worried about."

The Guardian Heartless shoots a ball of darkness at Vanessa, who knocks it away; however, it's just a ploy for it to get to Lingering Will and ram into him!

Lab Exterior

Dylan hops up and tries to slice multiple times at the MegaDragon.

Gold Tager beeline for the Karakuri MegaSniper, trying to take it out for good.

Datascape Observation Balcony

Tager grumbles before attempting to push the Sentry back.

ASL Rooftops

Kokonoe simply looks on as Addison and Arachnos finish everything off...

Only for a lightning bolt to come and attempt to smite the ghost!

Kokonoe: "Lightning mine, bitch."

Lingering Will reverts his Keyblade and raises it in defense, being knocked back.

Go fight the Heartless! he barks to Vanessa. I will fight Xehanort!

He attempts to springboard off the Guardian's meaty fists and come down Keyblade-first on Ansem.

Sonic gets knocked back by the laser, but skids to a stop with his hands and comes rushing back at Tide 2 with a Spin Dash.

The MegaDragon is vanquished, and thanks to Arachnos' efforts, it's not about to come back. However, those who were in the middle of respawning still finish that.

The Karakuri MegaSniper and Naviron Gnasher also fall. With the reduced enemy numbers, Rey continues the pressure on the League MegaChaser.

Hakumen, seeing the split, decide to be deadlier in his approach, using his blade instead of his keyblade.

He thrust his Nox Nyctores into the mass and then attempts to slash the beast with a mighty right swing, trying to get his large sword out of its body in a way that wouldn't split it. It's a pretty weird weapon so it can handle it.

After the twins recover from their initial surprise at Narktus' rant, Pietro is the first to speak up.

"Are you done blowing a gasket, Darth Vader? Because if me, Wanda and Thor can take on Ultron and his murderbots without needing help from any enemies, and win, we can handle these Cyber Angels without the Assassins' 'help'," he replies. "Besides, compared to the likes of you and Set, a literal god of evil, even the most organized bunch of robots aren't exactly the biggest threats around."

"Yes, how dare Pietro and I have the nerve to be suspicous of our sworn enemies," Wanda chimes in. "It's not like they have a reputation for deceit, treachery, and brutally murdering their own members for stepping out of line. Just ask Dimentio and Springtrap... Oh sorry, I forgot, Cyber had Hub slaughter them both."

Pseudo's group and Cyber's group turn to look at Narktus, a little surprised by his choice of words for a moment. The Shadowed One seems to smirk approvingly though, as he was getting a bit bored.

   "Finally, someone saying it like it is."   

"Don't try to start a fight now. You're only here because the Dark Hunters would be good assets to use against the Cyber Angels."

   "Yes, yes, you don't have to remind me."   , the Shadowed One says, amused by Botar getting angry.

"Do you think we like being here?", Dark Meta Knight growls. "If Mara was back already, we probably wouldn't have bothered with all this."

"Everybody calm down now.", Pseudo says, starting to look annoyed too. "The Cyber Angels attack everyone they find indiscriminately, and that makes them an enemy of all of us, whether we like it or not. Now, until we have enough information about what they are, what they're capable of, and how we can fight against them, we will have to bring our chances for casualties to a minimum, and if that requires us to step outside of our comfort zones, then so be it. Now, do you want me to recite a possible plan we came up with or not?"

Cyber says nothing, seemingly still waiting until everyone has stopped arguing. His pose is even slightly sassy, as if silently asking if they're done and if they can continue with why they're here.

"You've gotta be kidding me!", Greyface says, steering back in a panic to barely avoid the dark laser, though it nearly makes the platform crash.

Once he's recomposed himself in the air, he grabs a freaking flamethrower, holding it up and aiming it at Tide B.

"You numbnuts are about to get toasted!", he exclaims with a grin, after which he launches flames at the tide.

Narktus huffs and folds his arms indignantly. "Does it not occur to you that it's possible for things you don't know about to be more dangerous than other things you do know about? It's like you think everything revolves around your personal beliefs just because you're the 'good guys'. If you were in charge of an organization as large, powerful, and old as mine, you'd understand how one traitor can topple everything."

42 finally speaks up.

"The Cyber Angel General possesses a base minimum level of firepower on par with nuclear weaponry, and there is a more powerful Queen. Were this not the Arena, I believe we would all be dead by now. However, I have come into possession of another plan specifically for the General, one which could potentially be merged with the existing."

"... I'd like to discuss that now."

"Well, you seem like you guys have things under control here so I'm gonna return to the other battlefield k thanks bai"

Arachnos immediately drops down to the battlefield into the thick of the action, aiming to land into the fray with a gravity shockwave stomp.

"No, I just know that blindly trusting the Assassins is a really good way to get stabbed in the goddamn back," Pietro says to Narktus. "And like I said, if we can take down Ultron without help from our enemies, these Cyber Angels are bound to join him and his drones on the scrapheap."

Wanda just sighs heavily as she facepalms. Maybe they should have turned around and walked away from this godforsaken meeting...

"Enough arguing!", Pseudo says, now looking seriously angry, his eyes slightly glowing red. "We don't know if these people can be compared to Ultron! For all we know, they're much stronger than Ultron, or for all we know, they're much weaker! What we may or may have not accomplished in the past against different threats is not relevant! So we're going to focus on why we're here today! We're only going to listen to ideas on how to deal with this from now on! And WE-", he says, now looking at the twins. "-are going to have a discussion about this later. Now just behave, damnit!"

He takes a few seconds after to calm down, signified by his eyes no longer glowing. The others in the room are silent until he does, even Botar looks a bit surprised.

"Now... if we're all going to cooperate... we're going to think of ideas. We're going to share them with each other. And we're going to see if any of them are viable. It's possible, not ensured, but possible, that we will have to work together to win this. So accept it. Suck it up. We're going to think of more ideas now, and share them, because we can't afford to keep anything hidden from one another here! We're all going to be open about this, alright? Alright."

For some reason, Axonn glances at Pseudo as he says that last part, though neither his allies or the Assassins seem to notice. Pseudo then looks back at Cyber.

"Can I speak? ... Alright, finally. Now then, one idea I had and was trying to discuss before we were interrupted was that we'd send Hub to attack the fortress and lure some of their forces to a place where our troops are in hiding. We then ensure they can't escape said area and take them down with carefully selected, powerful forces. This way, depending on the forces we face, we may be able to calculate the average power of each unit type, and plan further attacks accordingly. This sort of luring-in-plan will only work once, but that could already give us more information than we currently have."

He then throws one hand up.

"There. Now is that so freaking untrustworthy of an idea?"

He then turns to 42 as she speaks, and once she's done so, he leans back in his chair cockily.

"Do you hear that? Nuclear weaponry. From the General. And their Queen is apparently stronger. And then we don't know what else they may have. Ultron, eat your heart out, I know for a fact that he's not at that level of power."

Botar now glances at Cyber.

"How do you know that?"

Cyber then pauses for a moment before shaking his head.

"The details are not important. Now then, this plan for the General, please share it with us."

Narktus gives up on his point and turns to 42. "So, your plan for dealing with the General..."

"First of all, it has been decided that it's worth letting you know. Meta Knight survived the Assassin Satellite Cannon's strike on the Halberd thanks to Gravitas."

"Yeah, we did that. Also turned him into a cyberized warrior under our command."

"And yet you now have nothing to show for it. Because he's fine, and free, and he has his sword back. Not to mention... the Halberd."

Narktus takes a thinking pose.◊

"With the Halberd come its very powerful mecha. I don't think they could take down the General on their own, but the supporting pressure they offer could be enough to drive it back in an encounter."

42 pulls out a holographic projector and sets it down on the table. It displays Meta Knight's two mechs, switching between them every few seconds.

"Meta Knight has suggested to me that some of you -" 42 glances around the room "- are well-acquainted with the Striking Venom. It sports a pilot seat, a gunner seat, two electronic install stations, and one infantry platform on each leg. Well-suited for combat, ground leveling, and mass transportation. The Heavy Lobster Mk. II has seen less use, but it is a two-seater vehicle. The main weapons function differently depending on the main pilot, while the secondary controls the auxiliary functions, such as its dash and miniature drones."

Outside the Lab

Omega burned most furiously as he charged forward, bellowing in his deepened, metallic voice as he switched his weapon from sword-staff to dane axe mode. He swung this icy blade at the closest foe with wild, almost-animalistic abandon, laughing madly.

"ODIN, FREE MY SOUL!"

Jesus man, calm down.

"Alright, let's head back to Abby."

Mero says as he starts to ealk back to her. When they get back, she is leaning on the wall, with a piece of grass in her mouth. When she sees them, with the Druid Key, she looks excited.

"Well! You guys actually did it! Just in time too, because my fanbase is almost here."

A giant mob of people come to the grove, and Abby snatches the key from Luxord's hand. They all crowd around her, saying things like "Wow! She really defeated a golem all by herself!" "She's so cool!" And other praising comments.

Mero just slowly shakes his head.

"Well. Do you guys want to know anything about this world, while we wait for the 'Abby fan club' to leave?"

Luxord's hands tighten and clench into fists like he's ready to deck Abby in the face, but he holds back.

He sighs. "Are there any other threats to this world we need to be wary of, or may we leave now?"

Shulk grumbles to himself, before asking "Why is this world so, you know, flat?"

I have a feeling that we will be called here soon again. Retorts Windu, contemplating the rise of a greater threat that Abby wouldn't be able to overcome. But either way, you may tell us of this world if you like perhaps.

"We still have to figure out what the Druid Key opens, and stop the corruption once and for all. That's why we still need her, because the key can't be used by any of us.

Mero then looks at Shulk, confused.

"Um? What do you mean by that?"

Luxord coughs awkwardly and starts shuffling his cards.

"Cyber, if your smug metal ass knew anything about Ultron, you'd know that he didn't need nukes. He wiped Sokovia off the map by turning it into an asteroid to drop on the Earth," Pietro points out. "And we still beat him. Oh, and nukes are practically water balloons next to all the weapons Thanos is packing on his ship, not to mention that thing he threw at a city just because he could."

Wanda lays a hand on her brother's shoulder.

"Maybe we should just leave, Pietro..."

"What? Why?"

"The longer we're here, the more we're going to get yelled at. Come on, let's go find Thor and Loki, and talk potential plans with them."

"...Fine. Wish Ultron would show up just to put Cyber in his goddamn place..."

The Maximoffs proceed to exit the hut and begin walking away from the meeting.

Shulk would shake his head, before saying "I'll talk about my world later. I'd like to know more about yours first, before we get going, unless you want to get going now."

Pseudo doesn't do or say anything as they leave. He does, however, look even more pissed off than before.

"I... will handle this later.", he says, doing his best to sound calm. He's actually shocked out of his anger when 42 reveals that Meta Knight is still alive, something that seems to surprise the three Assassins, Dark Meta Knight most of all.

"I see. So you intervened.", Cyber says to Narktus, only slightly moving his head to look in his direction. After that they all go silent as 42 explains her plan and shows them the mechs.

"I was not aware he had this big an assortment of robots.", Cyber notes out loud. "So your plan is to, if the General is lured out by my plan, use these mechs to try to overwhelm her? I'll admit, it looks like they'd give us a much higher chance of victory. I'd estimate a percent, but I don't know how strong the General is."

   "Well, any seats you aren't able to fill, we can just put Hub clones in it."   

"But how do we know those Hubs won't insert their data into the Striking Venom for later?", Botar points out. Mr L looks annoyed, but Cyber shrugs.

"You can't know. As such, it may be better not to do anything that'll give your friends more fuel to rant about."

"Friends?", Pseudo mutters softly, eyebrow raised.

"In that case, perhaps it'll be best to find either pilots or just plain people who have knowledge of steering robots.", Dark Meta Knight says, his voice slightly strained, a perpetual glare on Pseudo now that things are calm again. Pseudo notices and sighs.

"Alright, I'm gonna have to address this. I don't suppose saying sorry for burning you alive will suffice?"

Dark Meta Knight's eyes just narrow. Botar, meanwhile, looks at Pseudo with a rather flabbergasted expression.

"... Did you just say you burned him alive?"

"I was still evil back then.", Pseudo casually says. Botar glances at Axonn, who nods to confirm he's speaking the truth.

"Now, now, stay on topic.", Cyber says, after which he looks back at 42. "Now then, what do we do if we lure a good number of Cyber Angels? Depending on their numbers, they may overwhelm the mechs."

Outside, the two Hubs look at Wanda and Pietro as they're leaving. Confused, one of them looks inside, seeing that the meeting is still ongoing. He looks at the other and shrugs, whereas the one that didn't look starts walking after the twins.

"Hey, why are you leaving? The rest is still discussing plans."
