Toothless opens one eye. Omega Rey gasps in delight, scratching the Night Fury on the chin. "Good boy..."

Reyna crawls her way over to Shara Ishvalda and begins carving out chunks of its body. She pulls out and holds up a brilliant gemstone that reflects the sunlight magnificently - a Shara Ishvalda Gem.

Dot's scans should show that Shara Ishvalda is, in fact, dead.

And then be disrupted by some form of unseen anomalous activity.

Lucina and Samsara begins heading out.

Viserys kisses Awkeff's head as he watches to see if Reyna had everything in the aftermath sorted out or not.

Joshua's HUD lights up with the results of the scan, nothing. He started to let down his guard, until his HUD glitched out.

"Dot?"

"I can't see anything wrong with the software, I'm just as confused as you are."

The Spartan dismisses the HUD glitch as something that may have happened to the armor itself, and took off his helmet revealing a dark skinned male with a thick beard and a standard military haircut. He lets out a deep breath and sits down in a squat, not leaving the scene quite yet.

"Anyone got a weapon I could borrow? I'm out of one since I used mine as a bomb."

Filia pulls herself from the wall, walking up to Narktus and extending her hand

   "Then I suppose I shall, but I would request you don't give me menial labor at the very least."   

Men have regrets

Shara Ishvalda's left eye - the same one that was pierced by the Infinity Sword - opens, rolls in its socket, and focuses on Samsara as she starts to leave. The eye is... completely undamaged.

The earth begins to tremble as Shara Ishvalda rises up.

"What the fuck...?"

"Holy..."

"Shit..."

As Shara Ishvalda gets up on its hind legs and roars with the fury of a monster too angry to stay dead, the ground behind it suddenly blasts to pieces as another shape rises up and into the air, beating its wings with equal fury.

It's Ruiner Nergigante!

While Shara Ishvalda is busy being angry, Ruiner Nergigante rises high into the sky, then straight-up divebombs Shara Ishvalda, plowing the much larger Elder Dragon into the ground. Shara Ishvalda reaches its head up to try and throw Ruiner Nergigante off of itself, only for Ruiner to slam a forelimb (arm?) down on its face, holding its jaws open as it rips Shara Ishvalda's throat out. And yet, Shara Ishvalda keeps trying to get up, managing to push Ruiner Nergigante up on its hind legs before Ruiner takes two more bites out of its neck. As Shara Ishvalda rises up in defiance one last time, this◊ is the last thing it sees before Ruiner Nergigante smashes its head into the ground hard enough to pop its skull open like an egg, finally killing it decisively - and like a mundane predator would, no less, with a surprise attack and bullying it into submission before it can retaliate, until the killing blow is dealt.

Ruiner Nergigante roars in triumph over the body of the Old Everwyrm. The World Destroying Extinction Dragon then turns and gazes upon the warriors before it. Warriors who faced it once and brought it low. Warriors who stood their ground against the terrible power of Shara Ishvalda, its intended prey, and drove it to the point of death.

Ruiner Nergigante spreads its wings and flies away without a fight.

"... Yeah you better run."

Energy, like the power of a Shout bestowed by a Word Wall, comes cascading out in all directions from Shara Ishvalda's body.

Reyna looks at Shara's corpse. "I need a cast for my goddamn leg. Then I'm gonna carve this thing into as many pieces as physically possible, and run those pieces through a forge smelter. Let's see it get up from that."

After the shock of everything that had just happened passes, Awkeff kisses Viserys back. She then uses Heal Other on Reyna, mending her broken leg. "I want to see you make good on your word... Biikun."

"Uhh..."

"Closest approximation to 'Sapphire Star'."

"I see."

"Making powerful beings do slave work is a waste of talent," Narktus says bluntly.

"He's gearing up for war."

"...Well, that just happened," is all Viserys can say, an expression of what only be described as visible confusion upon his face.

The Spartan stands back up, and puts his helmet back on. He finally decides to start heading out, but before he does he walks to Reyna and extends his hand.

"Joshua, Spartan B-203. What's your name? I don't believe I got it."

"... Reyna," says Reyna. "My name's Reyna."

"What happened was nature running its course," notes Omega Rey. "And now all is as it should be."

"Hm."

"Well, with this monster truly dead and everyone stable, it's time to take our leave," says Awkeff. "I need a break... so bad..."

Toothless, who almost died of severe rock-and-sand-induced lacerations, rolls his eyes while flapping his jaws mockingly.

Lucina and Samsara, after witnessing the events, slowly turn around and head back.

After downing a wings potion, Viserys climbs to his feet before moving to scoop Awkeff up in a Bridal Carry, smiling coyly at her.

"So... are you ready for that visit to the hot springs now?"

"Nice to meet you, now for the reason I'm here. Know anywhere to get some heavy caliber weapons around here?"

The Spartan laughs, motioning to the corpse of the dragon.

"I uh, lost mine to that beast."

Filia follows Narktus, although she's still a little cautious of the man.

Omega Rey climbs aboard Toothless and pats his back. The Night Fury gets a running start before taking off into the sky.

Reyna walks up to Joshua. "I don't have anything like what you used, but I do have access to gigantic swords, axes that can transform into swords and make things explode, and big-ass guns. They're low-tech compared to yours, though. Leave with me and I can show you the goods."

Okay guys gotta fade out for real this time

Chuckling as well, Viserys proceeds to fly off towards the hot spring-covered part of Eastmarch with Awkeff cradled in his arms.

Joshua chuckles,

"All that sounds good enough! Let's get going."

The Spartan leaves with Reyna.

Solstheim, Skaal Village

Thor is presently sitting beside a campfire in the Skaal Village as he sharpens his axe, Stormbringer, with a whetstone.

Ain is just chillin' and driving around on her bike.

Solstheim, Skaal Village

Thor, upon hearing the sound of Ain's bike nearby, rises to his feet and puts Stormbringer away before approaching the first Sister, waving as he greets her with a grin.

"It's been far too long since we last met, Ain!"

She look at him and... kind of ride past him at first, since she's on a bike.

Fortunately for him, she returns quickly enough, and stop her bike before getting off it, using her telekinetic power to hold it in place.

Solstheim, Skaal Village

"So, regarding what happened with Cinke... I apologize for failing to prevent Thanos from razing her laboratory and forcing her into hiding," Thor says.

You were up against a huge cosmic warship, why would I blame you? You bought her time; answers Ain.

Thor offers Ain a slight smile.

"Even so, I can't help feeling at least partially responsible for her laboratory's destruction. Had I not dragged Cinke into this bloody war or been more subtle, perhaps her facilities would not have been all but annihilated."

That's understandable. But she did tell me that Thanos would've probably gone after her regardless. Worry not.

Intrigue

Daroach wanders toward the center of Intrigue, keeping his hat over his eyes.

"He's gearing up for war."

Daroach should be able to hear machinery nearby. It sounds like some form of construction work.

If he goes to check it out, he'll be able to see some big machines drilling into the ground, claws on the sides to grab the debris that comes loose and putting said debris in large containers.

He'll also be able to see a block-shaped building sitting in the center of everything. It has windows, and there's people moving around inside, though to be able to fully see them Daroach will have to get closer to the window.

In the year 202X, all is devastation... Soon, any last shred of hope had by the saintliest optimist shall die and decay.

Daroach moves to investigate.

He narrows his eyes and approaches the building, pressing close to the side of the window so as not to be noticed by those inside.
