Lakeview Manor

Viserys follows suit, stashing away his weapons, armor and equipment in Lakeview Manor's many chests and dressers before checking the various rooms to ensure that everything was in order.

Her things done, Awkeff announces it by calling out, "I'll be in the bedroom!"

She heads for the master bedroom and... ahem... gets ready.

How thoughtful of you.

He begins reloading.

The four warriors would look towards glavenus, and would then look towards each other, All of them nodding and smirking. Including Byleth, who hasn't shown any emotion up to this point, who would be the first to speak up. "Let's Finish this problem, and then it's class dismissed! Show me what you've learned!" Byleth would rush in with the sword of the creator, His Crest flaring, as he lashes at the Glavenus's Throat. Dimitri would laugh maniacally before saying "This thing's blood will paint this land red by the time I'm done!" He'd grab a new spear, and move in, His crest also flaring up once more as he attempts to pierce the creature's stomach.

Claude would twirl his arrow a bit, before pulling his bowstring back as far as it can go with the arrow readied, yelling "My moment has arrived!", letting loose the arrow as the Crest of Riegan flares over his head.

Edelgard would sigh, before deciding to join in too, as her two crests flare as she spins around with her axe, before she moves in to slam it into the glavenus's side, yelling "DON'T WASTE MY TIME!"

Lakeview Manor

"I'll be with you in just a moment!"

After stashing away the remainder of his gear, Viserys heads up to the master bedroom and offers Awkeff a flirtatious smirk before removing his shirt, exposing his muscular physique as he approaches her.

"Now... shall we begin, Awkeff?"

Battered from all sides, Glavenus staggers back. It cranes its neck to the sky and lets out one final roar before falling over, dead.

Reyna throws a victorious fist into the air.

She then pauses. "... Wait, was I gonna pay you? Do I even have money that you could use?"

"Indeed," Awkeff replies, looking her husband over with a similarly coy smile.

She begins to undress, and what happens next does not need to be described.

Lakeview Manor

As clothes are thrown onto the floor and certain sounds can be heard, it can safely be assumed that the newlywed Dovahkiin are, indeed... consummating their marriage.

Shadow gives an amused smile.

   "Yeah, I've seen the fire he has in him. I can tell you, though, that he's actually a pretty good listener, and, while he naturally had a lot to disagree about, he seemed genuinely open to discussion on a lot of things."   

His smile takes on a note of understanding.

   "Ah, don't worry, I get it. And, if you're trying to make this deity-strength, then I do indeed think I'd be in a bit of a rough spot if something actually did go awry."   

He nods.

   "Alright, I'll see you around, friend. Good luck."   

He notices Pilly, and smiles, quickly tipping his hat and waving goodbye to her and Pseudo. Once he and Botar are by Hub Centralis, Shadow whistles.

   "Man, the Arena's big now. All these different worlds, new native life...all kinds of beings could be drawn here now."   

He then gives a happy smile to Botar, nodding.

   "Aw, you're welcome! It's nothing, really. It's the best I could do, keeping him in high spirits despite the current situation, I mean. I think it was a little eye-opening for both of us, to be honest."

Awkeff lies back with a contented sigh.

Lakeview Manor

Viserys lies back as well, sighing contentedly as he holds his wife close.

"Shor's bones..."

"Well... I think I'm well and truly tired out," Awkeff comments.

Lakeview Manor

"You and me both, Fahliil Lokaliin," Viserys replies, embracing Awkeff. "And by the way, you were amazing."

She puts a hand on his waist. "You too."

After a moment, Awkeff's eyes flutter and slowly begin to shut.

Lakeview Manor

Viserys kisses Awkeff's head before his eyes begin to close as well.

"Indeed it is.", Botar says, a slight hint of a smile on his face. Apparently he somewhat likes the idea as well, despite how many inevitable threats it might bring.

"With some luck, we won't run into too many new problems while we deal with the Assassins. That way we may be able to enjoy this world a little before we inevitably return to our new home world. As, once our deal with Pseudo is over, we no longer have a reason to be in this world."

He then crosses his arms.

"I'm not surprised. You both looked like you were really into the conversations you were having. I saw it through the camera-"

Suddenly, a roar. Botar turns his head to look in the direction it came from to see The Winged Dragon of Ra◊ on the other side of town. He immediately looks on edge and glances at Shadow.

"Shadow, you know a lot of beings, right? Do you know that thing? If so, how much of a threat is it?"

Tropique, Near the Shepherds' Base

A green crystal ball appears out of thin air, dropping to the ground with a soft thud.

It's noticed by Lucina, who was scouting ahead of her little squad. She lift her torch over the orb in surprise and then slowly crouch to pick it up between her fingers, observing it closely.

A face◊ briefly appears in the orb, before fading.

She lean back in surprise, having been outright jumpscared, but is surprised when she bump against something, turning around to notice a literal husk of a man stationed nearby, his legs having been impaled on a branch, making him hang from said branch. Blood hardly fall out of his wound, though, since he seems to have been completely emptied of it.

A spooked Lucina is nearly attacked by something but quickly draw her blade and strike back, connecting and driving the being backward. The light of her torch illuminate a hand with long, black nails, with a pretty wide gash across the palm.

Impressive reflexes.

DIO step into view, casually glancing over at his wound, raising his hand to do so. Lucina points the blade of her sword at him in answer.

Identify yourself right now !

You would order the likes of DIO around, woman ? he asks, folding his arms and smirking amusedly.

I will slay the likes of DIO if he does not explain himself. Why and when did you kill that poor man ?

Slay me ?

Indeed. I've wounded you. It would be in your interest to...

A wound ? Surely, the torch would help your sight at night.

DIO raises his hand, revealing that the wound is gone. Lucina is too surprised to answer back.

The face appears again, but this time with a cheeky smile.

"I've ensured you go first this game!"

The effect should be immediate and self-explanatory; Lucina gets to make the first move regardless of what DIO tries.

Lucina is surprised, and DIO smirks, attempting to attack. His movements freezes though, and Lucina is the first to strike, hitting him in the shoulder with a stab.

She goes for another but he deflect it with his hand. Briefly, a yellow figure emerges over DIO, but he decide to use his fist instead, attempting to reach her with a powerful punch. She dodges and stab, but alas, he evade the strike and the subsequent ones with casual ease, easily staying clear of the mighty blade.

Lucina realizes that her tactic won't work, but is a bit too late : DIO catch the tip of Falchion with two hands and lunges forward, grabbing the Last Exalt's throat and lifting her up.

As excepted. he says, keeping his hand on Falchion for prudence's sake. Lucina is still holding the ball, though, which he fails to notice.

The ball doesn't do anything.

Lucina gathers her strength and actually let go of her sword, with Falchion falling into the grass. DIO smirks contentedly, and prepare to drain her...

Only for Lucina to pull out a dagger and stab him in the wrist, forcing him to let go, though he pulls the dagger out of his body quickly and fling it at her. She deflect it with her sword and get up, skin purple from the choking, with clear marks on her throat.

Her torch, which fell over a few posts ago, is beginning to start a fire though, catching DIO's attention. He glares at it though and, without any warning, the torch is now extinguished along with the fire, with ground having been thrown on it to asphyxiate it.

Lucina, in the darkness, wonder what to do next, as the vampire turn to her.

"This will protect you."

Three orbs of light fly out from the ball and take shape, becoming three distinct entities. They are all pitifully weak, but they all exude an aggravating aura to force DIO to prioritize targeting them over Lucina.
