Wanda unleashes the spell she had been charging since Ganon: a truly massive scarlet beam of her magic that crackles with Mara's own dark power, which she fires at both Galeem and Dharkon in a sweeping arc.

Pietro dashes towards Dharkon, then attempts to slash him with a Chaos Katana.

Thor sends a blast of lightning arcing through the air towards Galeem.

"Oh no you don't, he's mine!" Mystia shouts at Galeem, rushing at the lightbringer in an attempt to unleash a barrage of strikes from her now clawed feet at the core.

Sombra, meanwhile, attempts to create a golden box around Dharkon's inert eye, hoping to keep him trapped for as long as possible. It won't block outside attacks though (not even from Galeem).

Tarboy's essence ripples as he prepares his attack.

Dharkon rises up from the ground, completely phasing through Sombra's barrier, and recalls his tentacles. He splays them all out and sticks them up in the air like the prongs of a pitchfork, causing purple energy pillars to erupt from the ground in a manner exactly like Dracula's Eruption attack, one after another (Shadow Eruption).

Galeem produces a large blue sphere of energy, which breaks apart into six smaller spheres that attempt to home in on Keeby, Miriel, Seras, Kefla, Pietro and Tarboy (Optic Orb). He also takes damage from the Shadow Eruption... so they're really not working together at all.

Galeem: 437 393 372 HP

Dharkon: 300 257 HP

Keeby is blasted back by the orb that comes for him. He comes rushing back in with a Smash Kick.

Amaterasu fires a barrage of freezing-cold rosary beads at Galeem, performing spinning hops to evade the Shadow Eruption as she does so.

Miriel is hit, but remain alive through the defensive buff, being sent flying. Morgan doesn't attack quickly, though, a bit distressed by the sight of her mother being hit by an attack. Still, Miriel lands on her two feet, and Morgan angrily turns around. Blue flames surround her, and her Thoron receive a sizable bonus damage, attempting to pierce through her foe in a manner that scatter around a large amount of cherry blossoms (?)

The red mage goes back up, appreciating her buff. She grab her tome, Celica's Gale...

Vegeta and Neuff go at it with a series of strike, while Vision prepare to join in. Vivenette, meanwhile, attack Dharkon (unlike the other three) with a disk attack !

   Things don't always go according to plan. I'm not taking any risks, especially not since she was hit. Besides, I trust that you can survive without me.   

Once Wanda's fired her attack, Mara's Spirit separates and re-bonds with Miriel, right as the spell Mara had cast had worn off.

Pilly activates her Super Defense, her body turning gray, and it absorbs the full impact of the pillars. In return, however, she can't move or attack this time.

Kefla just fires blasts back at the orb coming for her to try to blast it to nothing. If that fails though, she'll get hit.

Seras easily weaves around the orb, a red shadowy trail behind her as she moves. She brings forth her two regular cannons again and fires at Galeem.

Tuyet surrounds herself with water, figuring the fire won't breach. Unfortunately, that's not how this attach works, and she gets blasted over the side by Dharkon's dark energy pillar.

As soon as Dharkon rises from Sombra's barrier and Galeem fires, Tarboy sees his chance. He extends his arms with the goal of anchoring himself to Dharkon's writhing mass and deliver a violent double kick to the eye, followed by a series of more kicks. He will do this until Galeem's projectile reaches him, at which moment he will acrobatically vault out of the way to let it impact Dharkon. However, if Dharkon manages to dislodge him before this can happen, Tarboy would take the projectile himself.

Sombra's half-sphere shield, which was intended to block the lasers, is still up since they never fired in the end. However, this shield was not intended to defend against attacks erupting from the ground, so Sombra ends up being rather humiliatingly blasted into the "ceiling" of his own barrier when one of Dharkon's geysers erupts underneath him. The shields surrounding everyone else flicker and temporarily fade.

Mystia, who was attacking Galeem, ends up caught in the same eruption that damaged him. However, due to Ally of Darkness, it deals significantly reduced damage and does absolutely nothing to stop the onslaught from both her powerful raptor legs and her poison-clawed gauntlets.

"If only you cared about your own goddamn children as much as you did her well-being..."

Wanda rolls to the left, narrowly avoiding an energy pillar. In retaliation, she utilizes Elemental Magic to launch multiple fireballs at Dharkon.

Pietro darts about to evade the orb coming his way, only for one of Dharkon's energy pillars to suddenly lift him off his feet with a surprised grunt.

   "Oh, now they start giving a damn about us!"   

Taking a moment to get back up, he dashes over to Seras' side and creates a Chaos Minigun, then spins it around towards Galeem and begins firing on the Lord of Light alongside her.

The Shadow Eruption hits Thor dead-on, knocking him back quite a bit. Shaking his head, the god of thunder flies back into the fray before unleashing a huge burst of lightning at both the Lord of Light and Darkness.

"Allfathers help me, neither of you arseholes will escape this time!"

Dharkon recoils as he is struck further. He teleports out of the fighters' reach as he splays out his tentacles and lets loose a howling roar of fury, his eye turning a striking red.

Galeem and Dharkon both warp closer to the center of the stage, and do their respective ring-motions before teleporting out, summoning two false fighters each (Mirror Image and Shadow Shape).

Galeem's false fighters are Link and Pit; Dharkon's are Ike and Wolf. False Link and False Ike immediately go at it with each other, so they're probably not going to be an issue. False Pit fires an Arrow of Light from the Palutena bow at Wanda, while False Wolf pulls out his Blaster and fires a powerful plasma shot at Mystia.

Galeem: 372 316 HP

Dharkon: 257 250 HP

Rather annoyingly, Galeem and Dharkon have vacated from the area this round, so Keeby begins charging a Hammer Flip.

"They will be back momentarily, I'm sure of it." Ammy unleashes a mighty strike with the Thunder Edge Glaive on False Wolf.

Vegeta flies off and begins to charge something akin to a Final Flash. This causes Morgan and Miriel to cast Barrier each for one another, while Miriel hand over her tome to Morgan.ù

Hmmm, thank you for your spell. she says to Mara. I welcome you back to my psyche.

Meanwhile, Vision, Swain, Vivenette and Neuff target False Pit and Wolf, with one half going for the former with beams and the others with punches and kicks aimed at the latter

Seras, now without either of the two beings for a target, leaps at False Wolf and tries to bash him off of the stage with her cannons.

Kefla just charges for False Pit and tries to stun him with a kick to the chest. If successful, she'll follow up with a flurry of punches.

Pilly uses this turn to charge up an Annihilator Beam, so that she can launch a more powerful one once Galeem and Dharkon return. The Batter flickers behind her a few times, but stays bonded to her.

   "..."   

   Hm? You gave your tome to your daughter. Are you going to stop fighting, or do you just need a moment of rest?   , Mara asks Miriel.

"Did I say this show of ours was supposed to have an entracte? I'll have both of you fired for this!" Mystia shouts furiously as Galeem and Dharkon vacate the premises. She turns around just in time to be able to block Wolf's show with her wings, reducing the already partial damage dealt by Dharkon's puppet even further, before yelling out a repelling sonic shockwave in an attempt to blast Wolf right out of the Arena.

Sombra, seeing these puppets, uses a tried and true tactic. A golden triangle appears underneath False Ike. If he fails to escape on time, he will be enclosed into a golden pyramid that Sombra will promptly yeet right over the edge of Final Destination.

Tarboy charges False Link with all the speed he's capable of, seemingly attempting to tackle him off the edge of the Arena. However, his momentum is too great to stop himself, so even if he succeeds he will fall over the edge alongside the enemy. Is he really using a suicide attack against such a feeble foe?

"Where the hell did they- argh!"

Interrupted when she takes an Arrow of Light to the shoulder, Wanda retaliates by drawing her longsword and hurling it like a javelin past False Pit's head... only to telekinetically make the weapon do a complete 180 while her foe is presumably distracted and send it straight towards his back. Whether or nor False Pit ends up being being imapled, she then levitates the weapon back into her hand afterwards.

   "Okay, all of this running away bullshit is getting really freaking old!"   

Pietro conjures up Chaos Magic replicas of Alucard's signature guns, the Casull and the Jackal (albeit lighter than the real deal), and proceeds to begin firing on both False Pit and False Wolf.

Thor simply begins charging lightning as he waits for Galeem and Dharkon to reappear.

Galeem and Dharkon reappear.

Galeem creates a series of crisscrossing lines of light all over the stage. After a moment, powerful lasers burst across those lines, forcing fighters to stay in the gaps to avoid getting hit (Laser Net).

Dharkon reaches out with his tentacles and slashes an X-shaped rift in reality over the battlefield, which slows down anyone who enters it (Temporal Rift).

False Link and False Pit are both struck by the initial slash of Temporal Rift and subsequently caught in its slowing effect, allowing other attacks to batter them. However, due to being slowed down, they don't get KO'd, and they begin flashing rapidly, indicating that they will soon detonate.

False Wolf gets blasted by the Laser Net after the other attacks on him, sending him into the blast zone.

False Ike similarly gets blasted, but he freezes in place on the way down from Sombra's triangle and self-destructs, dealing heavy damage to anyone near the ledge.

Galeem: 316 HP

Dharkon: 250 HP

Keeby is small enough to ignore the Laser Net. He jumps up past the Temporal Rift and unleashes his fiery Hammer Flip on Galeem, aiming to do massive damage.

Amaterasu begins charging up an attack with Thunder Edge as she skirts around, only to run into the Temporal Rift. However, her Celestial Brush comes down and produces a Veil of Mist, slowing everything down in time so that all movements are at near-'normal' speed relative to each other (ie. being caught by the Rift won't hamper you as much). Then she hastily dashes out of the rift.

Not quite. Behold.

She holds out a small, thin, red tome : The Dying Blaze. Small flames run over it, and Miriel is careful with handling it.

Time to go for the offensive.

Take this ! yells Morgan. She begins to move superhumanly fast while doing the spell, spamming a powerful tornado move to try to hit Galeem. Miriel's attack is slower, but the boosted explosion is huge and powerful, dwarfing the tornado in sheer size !

Vegeta continue his charge, while the Barriers withstand the attacks and both mages steer clear from the rift. The other fighters, meanwhile, either teleport out or are assisted by Amateratsu, though, in getting out, all but Swain are hit by the beams. As for Swain, he attacks with a massive red burst of lightning.

Pilly, in an insane stroke of luck, is already standing in a safe spot from both attacks, and as such can return the favor by launching the charged up Annihilator Beam right at Galeem. The Batter flickers once more. He wants Galeem to see him, to know that he's here. Not because he wants to stop him, but because he's judging which path is the correct one to take on the road of purification.

Seras gets struck by a few lasers, making her wince and flinch for a moment. A second later, she leaps up, avoiding the Temporal Rift and trying to shoot at Dharkon. Upon realizing that her guns are out of ammo, she decides to throw them at Dharkon instead.

Kefla gets hit by the lasers, mostly shrugging them off, but then gets trapped by Temporal Rift. In response, she starts powering up further, going Super Saiyan 2, in an attempt to break her way free from the slowing trap.

Because hey, Jiren could do it, so she should be able to do it too, right? There's definitely no Saiyan pride at play here.

Mara looks the tome over and grins.

   Looks like the fragile but powerful type.   , she says, channeling some power to Miriel to boost her magic.    Show me how powerful it really is.

Sombra is in the opposite category to Keeby. Being the size of a horse, he is too big to fit into the gaps of the net without some serious contortionism he is incapable of. He replaces his shields on everyone, including himself, and prays for the best.

Tarboy continues his charge, attempting to hurl Link off the edge so that his explosion would not affect anyone. He himself, meanwhile, uses his sticky tar to hold the floor in a death grip at the last second so that only his foe may fall and not himself. If necessary, he will then flatten himself into a puddle to avoid the Laser Net.

Mystia is caught in the Rift for just long enough to throw her off her game, and the Laser Net goes off on her, causing her the first significant damage since the start of the battle. As the lasers create painful burns in her body and wings, her scream of pain creates a shockwave that should damage both Galeem and Dharkon and attempt to catapult all remaining puppets.

Seeing as False Link and False Pit were about to detonate, Wanda attempts to telekinetically seize the two, and if successful with either of them, follow up by hurling them at Dharkon and Galeem before they explode. After that, she quickly sidesteps out of the Laser Net's path.

"That was too close..."

After dashing away from the Laser Net and Temporal Rift in the nick of time, Pietro retaliates by sending a barrage of Chaos Bolts Dharkon's way, then joins up with Seras.

   "If you've got any ideas, police girl, I'm always willing to help pull 'em off!"   

Thor leaps away from the Temporal Rift before tanking the Laser Net as best he can, albeit not without a few visible injuries for his troubles. Afterwards, he rips off his shirt, exposing his legendarily jacked physique, and unleashes his now-charged lightning blast at Galeem.

"For Asgard!"

Galeem eats shit and flails around with broken-looking wings. He teleports away from reach. His wings close around each other like a box folding over itself before splaying out again in the rough shape of a circle, or perhaps an angry eye, with his core (now bursting with spikes of radiant power) in the center between them, emitting a metallic shriek of rage and causing his core to burst with sparks like a cartoonish sun or plasma ball. He and Dharkon disappear again, taking the Temporal Rift with them.

From the skies emerges Galeem's Photonic Wave, a series of rolling waves of light that rapidly burn anyone standing in them. From the abyss below emerges Dharkon's Photonic Wave, which is the same but darkness and the burns are from dark fire. They are moving in opposite directions at different speeds, making the Dual Photonic Wave extremely hard to avoid.

The remaining false fighters are sent flying and destroyed.

Galeem: 316 250 HP

Dharkon: 250 240 HP

Keeby panics and uses Stone Change, turning himself into a large and heavy rock - which somehow protects him from the Photonic Waves, although less 'transformative' means of defense will be ignored.

Ammy's Veil of Mist runs out. She jumps onto the top platform of Final Destination, continuing to charge up without flinching even as she suffers heaps of damage from Galeem's Photonic Wave.

Vegeta is quite surprised and confused by Kefla's sheer power, this means that he's hit and caught off guard, canceling the final flash for now.

Both Miriel and Morgan focus on defense, but eventually, Miriel notice that the barrier is too weak to hold individually and add hers to Morgan. The last remnants of the attack cause her to kneel, and cause Morgan to worry, but she doesn't mind.

Morgan, be careful ! she warns. Morgan, visibly torn, choose to focus again, while Miriel get back up.

Your defensive powers are heavily appreciated. she thinks, grasping her tome.

Swain is hit and sent flying, while the amazingly agile Vivenette dodge everything and strike back with a beam Neuff and Vision weather the damage with phasing and teleportation but are hit too.

Thor might hear an enthousiastic 'YES' in the back of his mind. It's not hard to guess who said that.

"Well, I'm out of bullets at the moment, so my current ideas are just hack and slash.", Seras says.

Then the Photonic Waves appear, and Pilly, seeing what Keeby does, mimics him with Super Defense. However, quite to her shock, the waves somehow pass through her defenses, and since she can't move fast like this, this means she takes a hefty amount of damage by the time the attack is over.

Seras gets struck by them too, and while Dharkon's Photonic waves do little, Galeem's burn intensely. Seras starts leaping around like crazy to avoid them as much as possible, and yet still ends up with some severe burns on her arms and legs.

Kefla leaps through any opening she can find. She nearly gets through perfectly, only to have her knee get struck just a moment before the waves fade.

"Sonuva..."

She makes her aura spike, planning on shooting lasers from it at the two the moment they reappear.

Mara doesn't answer this time around, seemingly observing while continuing to give Miriel the neccesary boost.

"Oh, how cute! And by cute I mean pathetic! Come back to me when you can fill the space between the waves with bullets as well!" Mystia boasts, dancing up and down between the waves of destruction like a dainty butterfly. Still, the observant will notice that she keeps closer to the bottom of the stage, as a hit from Dharkon's waves would hurt her less than one from Galeem's. She starts holding a crystalline note, a pulsating ball of sound growing in front of her.

Tarboy anchors himself onto one of the platforms with his arms, hanging in the air from it, raising himself up when one of Dharkon's waves arrives and lowering himself when Galeem's waves threaten him. He too seems to favor the bottom, even when it costs him some extra damage from the darkness, as he worries about the possible heat component of Galeem's radiant energy.

As usual, the unfortunate Sombra gets wrecked. Lacking the same kind of agility as his teammates and presenting a large target for the waves that completely bypass his barriers, he is taking basically unavoidable damage right now. It will be a miracle if he still stands by the end of this attack.

"Shit!"

Thinking quickly, Wanda creates a barrier of her own to shield herself from the two Photonic Waves, though not before Dharkon's manages to leave a few nasty burns on her arms. Despite the searing pain, however, she manages to maintain the barrier, though it only just holds out against the onslaught.

   "I can work with that!"   

Pietro darts about the battlefield to avoid the Photonic Waves as best he can, though as the smoking burns he picked up along the way can attest to, he didn't exactly make it out unscathed. Upon regrouping with Seras, he draws Galaxia and hands it to her.

   "Whew, almost thought I was a goner for a second... Anyway, once Galeem and Dharkon pop back in, I say we rush them together. And if it helps, pretend you're carving up that Zorin vampire you told me about when we first met,"    Pietro grins at Seras.    "Ready for this, police girl?"   

Smirking in bemusement at Iris's reaction to him tearing off his shirt, Thor spins Mjolnir rapidly enough to create a whirlwind, which he sends towards the Photonic Waves in an attempt to blow them away.

"Such enthusiasm, Iris... are you certain that our slight age difference is the only reason you're hesitant to act on it?"

The Photonic Waves retract, and Galeem and Dharkon reappear right in time to eat some more attacks.

Galeem releases three orbs from his core that emit expanding rings of energy (Lens Flare). Like in his original battle and the one with the Batter before that, these waves expand over the whole area and cannot be blocked, requiring careful dodging to avoid taking significant damage and knockback.

Save for a small gap so courteously provided to the one with Batter's spirit equipped - Pilly.

Dharkon vanishes. Moments later, one of his tentacles appears from the void and stabs through the stage, trying to impale pretty much everyone (Tentacle Pierce). Then another tentacle stabs in, doing the same but from a different angle. A third and final tentacle stabs through the stage, but this one has Dharkon's eye on it, leaving him open to attack. And yes, it can be blocked, unlike Lens Flare.

Galeem: 250 237 231 HP

Dharkon: 240 229 222 HP

Keeby remains in Stone form to save himself from the other attacks, but the last Lens Flare ring breaks him out of his transformation and almost sends him flying. However, he is able to perform a rise-and-fall slash with Final Cutter, landing himself back on the stage and simultaneously sending a small projectile at Dharkon.

Ammy finally lets her charged attack rip. "You are not worthy to be called Lord of Light!" She jumps up and does a plummeting slash, armoring through the Lens Flares and one of Dharkon's Tentacle Pierces, aiming to cleave Galeem's core in half. When she hits the ground, there is an explosion of electrical power.

Miriel and Morgan dodge the attacks, with Vision's assistance. When Dharkon emerges, Miriel... spins, activating a crit.

Begone.

She toss a spell... and the dying blaze become an inferno ! An explosion that triggers multiple other explosions, seemingly without an end ! The inferno continues on for several seconds before fading, through the smoke is weaponized by Morgan, who uses Celica's gale to spam once more.

Vegeta, meanwhile, fire off several deadly beams at the two beings, with Neuff and Swain's assistance. The latter two are hit by the attacks, however, and so is Vivenette, who end up thrown off the stage.

Pilly's body looks a little damaged, but nothing too severe, even though she did take a lot of damage.

Seras lands and gets ready, then glances at Pietro.

"These two don't weigh up to Zolin in my eyes."

She turns back to the two and grins evilly.

"But they'll make for a close second!"

Iris laughs nervously.

"O-of course, haha. Now stop asking questions and go kick some divine behind!", she encourages.

That's when Lens Flare comes into play. Kefla gets caught in the attacks and stunned. Right as she tries to unleash her lasers though, she disappears.

Looks like her time ran out. And now Lesovikk's Spirit is left behind, appearing confused.

... this is awkward.

Pilly, this time around, focuses her energy on just dodging, and as such barely makes it through Lens Flare without getting hit. She avoids two of the three Dharkon tentacles too, but has to use her spider legs to block the last one. With her spider legs occupied, she instead activates her electric barrier, trying to send it up towards Dharkon's eye through his own tentacle.

Seras, with her vampiric speed, manages to dodge Lens Flare as well, but ends up getting stabbed in the leg by one of Dharkon's tentacles.

"Agh, damnit. I'm stuck."

She then remembers something. She still has a regular police gun on her person. She quickly grabs it and shoots at Galeem.

Mara, meanwhile, appears impressed by Miriel.

   Now that is indeed powerful.
