While he looks a little confused at what Einherjar are, he doesn't ask questions right now, just letting Neuff rest against him.

"The first thing you're doing when we get home is take a good nap.", he says, smiling. "And I'll be with you to make sure you'll be able to sleep well."

He then looks at Oca's Dragon Ball, and his eyes already show that he has no idea what this, to him, 'little trinket' is. Then he looks at Nicole.

"Well, their dragons were green-ish and they had red armor. I didn't get that good a look at the riders because there were so many, at least 30. But I did hear them mention something called 'Thracia', if that helps. As for why they attacked, I have no idea, they just called me an enemy. My guess is that they ran into that other me and were attacked by him at some point, and then they mistook me for him."

In the year 202X, all is devastation... Soon, any last shred of hope had by the saintliest optimist shall die and decay.

She dodge most of the axes but get struck just enough to actually stumble and get hit by the massive shot, throwing her back in the air a long distance away.

However, she put her arms over her body, straighten her legs out together, and fire back from her feet to fly back towards the fight. She try to smash through the building, seemingly heading for Tobias with a mighty charge... but then turns around and attempts to hit him with the surprise fire attack instead, to try and briefly engulf him in it as she lands in front of him.

Afterwards, she slide with the momentum and arc her body, attempting to hit him with a mighty shoulder bash to try to send him flying.

Neuff shake her head.

"Never. I've been a bit busy lately, sorry 'bout that."

"Yeah but it's family stuff... well you'll still throw punches though, one Xoon per punch so you better avoid machinegun blows or faster or else you'll pay me a ton."

"A nap ? That sounds like the best idea ever." she comments. "I'll be counting the sheep."

"Remind me to blow these guys away myself, Nicole."—

She teleport back home and keep feeding it grubs or rations at a small space, she seems very fond of animals, no matter how bizarre or ugly.

Fallout 2? More like Fallout 2 bad.

Zel Jr. eats everything thrown at it, and burbles.

Oca frowns.

"Dammit… if you see any, couldja let me know? I need em for something."

"Also, dya think this looks real enough to fool Troa?"

He takes out what appears to be a photograph of Oca taking a selfie over a sisters corpse. Looks like he's trying to avert We Will Not Use Photoshop in the Future.

New Los Angeles

Seeing as she's too fast for him to evade while he's charging, he braces and creates a kinetic barrier in front of him. "Tobias, her energy distribution is geared towards heat, not physical force." The voice warns him just in time.

"Shit." He quickly repurposes part the barrier into an energy-draining one as she lands and starts her fire blast. The blaze engulfs and staggers him, and the kick sends him flying against a wall. When the smoke clears, he is indeed energized, but the flames appear to have been too much for him to absorb completely, his crystalline covering visibly struggling to reform and showing patches of burned skin underneath, along with several large bruises from her onslaught of physical attacks.

Jam, however, should notice something alarming - he's left a dark-colored ball of energy next to her just before he was sent flying. It starts to drag in everything around it, several ice constructs shattering into many sharp, hard pieces around the vortex. From a distance, Tobias gathers up part of the absorbed energy, throwing yet another projectile in her general direction, this time straight-up creating a large explosion while also triggering a secondary blast from the singularity. He then stumbles down to his knees, hoping that the barrage gives him enough of a window to start healing with the rest of the stolen energy.

"Huh. You decided to switch sides?" He asks Oca between pained breaths.

Erik bids farewell to Theresa when she departs, then proceeds to take his leave.

Nicole raises an eyebrow when Oca mentions fooling Troa, then studies his photo.

"Hmm... I know you weren't asking me, but that photo does look pretty damn legit. Just be careful Troa doesn't try reading your mind, in case she doesn't buy it at first."

She turns to Demo as he describes the Einherjar who attacked him, making a mental note to ask Anna about said Einherjar the next time she visited her shop.

"Alright. Thanks for telling me all this, Demo. Hope that wound of yours heals up soon."

She flashes an appreciative smile at him, then looks at Neuff.

"If, or rather, when I catch sight of them, I'll make sure to give you a call, Neuffie. Just... try not to go overboard or anything."

Demo just looks up at Oca, confused because he has no idea what's going on. He then just looks back down at Neuff, smirking.

"Well, no cheating, I'll be keeping track 'till you're sound asleep.", he jokingly says. He looks at Nicole.

"Thanks. It should be gone in a few hours."

He looks back at Neuff.

"We should probably go home now then, so that you can get some rest. Argo's at home too. I think he'll be happy to see you, it's been a while."

"She has..; yuck." she says, shivering. "She has telepathic power, you know ? She can read your mind and figure out you faked it."

"I won't go overboard;" she says. "Unless they give me a good reason to."

"Yeah, why are you switching sides ? I guess I should thank you for helping me after that fight with the dinosaur man. How is he doing by the way?"

She smiles at Demo and yawns. "Alright then, honey..."

"Wovie !" she says, stabbing her arm into the ground to withstand the singularity. She is thrown away by the blasts however, causing her to awkwardly slide along the ground. Jam, ever the tricky fighter, shoot flames out of her fingertips to try and hit everywhere around her.

However, she actually shoot some more fire attacks above Tobias, attempting to trick him into focusing his defense into energy. That way, he'd be much more vulnerable to the debris above him !

"Oh yeah, I forgot about the mind reading thing… hmmm… I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard to shop some memories about ganking one of you. Trigo's a pretty good telepath, though I don't know if he can mess with the hard drive thing…"

Tobias raises a wall of ice in front of him to protect against the fire shots, when he notices she's about to take down the building behind him. "...Oh come on!" He hastily darts to his side, rolling away as large chunks of concrete crash down behind him. He taps the ice with his foot, causing some of it to sublimate and create a thick mist around the area, concealing him. If Jam is able to and tries to find his heat signature, she'll only find that he's masked it as well. As he lets Savvato partially heal him with the stolen energy, he stalks her from a distance, trying to figure out another opening.

"No problem, dude. Tell Argo I said hi when you get home," Nicole says to Demo, clapping him on the shoulder before looking at Neuff.

"Glad to hear it."

She turns to Oca, grinning at his description of Troa.

"If you want another way to block Troa's telepathy, I'd suggest stopping by Cinke and Platinum's lab in the desert. They'll be able whip up an anti-telepathy device for ya in no time."

She checks her phone after hearing it go off, then looks to the group.

"Well, I'd love to stick around and chat with you all some more, but I've got a few errands to run. See y'all later."

With that, she proceeds to walk off.

GTG for RL reasons.

"Will do.", he says to Nicole. Demo then looks at Neuff again at the mentioning of an alternate Troa and someone named 'Ninth'.

"... You should probably fill me in on all this once you've rested up again."

He then, if Neuff lets him, lifts her up in his arms.

"Anyhow, I'll carry you home.", he says, smirking. "No protesting."

He then starts walking regardless of if she actually protests or not, and will bring her home.

Jam promptly run around and kick various holes across the arena, hard enough to rise up the heart (with a boost from very quickly hardened magma), forming several craters across the battlefield.

She hides in one at the moment, healing up a little as well, though not enough. The crater, under the natural influence of the arena, start to vanish and crumble one per one !

"Ha, good description !" she explains, before just nodding to everyone else. She's lifted up but barely protest, making a bashful smile and closing her eyes instead.

"I dunno, I find that strangely comfortin-zzzzzzzzzz..." she says, instantly going to sleep.

He looks around.

"… Huh."

"Oh well, close enough."

He teleports out to grab Zel Jr, and then back to his homeworld to see some a certain telepath.

The Knight idly wandered the exotic landscapes, seemingly indifferent to anything but their own thoughts.

The Knight crosses paths with a portrait of some kind, lying facedown on the ground.

"He's gearing up for war."

Imperceptibly, The Knight shifted their attention to the portrait. Swerving off their path, they approached, using the tip of their Nail to flip over the portrait and observe the front.

The portrait flips over to reveal a painting of a young woman in a colorful magician's garb that covers up a painter's uniform. She has a pointy red conical hat with a green band around it and two yellow flowers on the sides of the band.

Her mouth forms a confident smirk, but her eyes seem to be looking directly at The Knight.

"He's gearing up for war."

They tilted their head at the painting, slightly off-put by the stare.

"Curious. You are alive, perhaps?"

"Well, duh, silly!" The young woman in the painting reaches her right arm out of it, and it becomes a solid 3-dimensional human arm. She sticks her tongue out and winks from within the painting, while her outstretched arm makes a finger-gun motion at The Knight. "You look kind of cool. I bet your form was crafted by a talented artist. Anyway, my name's Paintra! What are you called, mister?"

"He's gearing up for war."

They look on, keeping their head-tilt during the girl's transformation.

"Most call me Knight, or something like that."

"Just 'Knight?' That's kinda lame. Lots of warriors where I'm from take the title of Knight, but they also add a word to the beginning." Paintra's painting is now floating upright. She leans her upper body out of the painting, holding the rest of her inside with her right hand and reaching out for The Knight with her left hand.

Paintra just sort of holds her hand in front of their face for a second while making a concentrating expression, then she withdraws back into the painting and snaps her fingers. "I know! For you, how about Secta Knight?"

"He's gearing up for war."

"You may call me what you wish. What are you doing out here, lying around in the wasteland?"

"My painting just sort of fell here. I didn't know who might be the first to find me, so I decided to just play inanimate until someone intelligent came along. Lucky me that you were the first to show up!" Paintra giggles and claps her hands, before fully emerging into the 3D world from her painting.

The background of the painting, which was an artist's studio with various sugary snacks occupying the locations where art supplies should've been (like lollipops in a cup meant to hold paintbrushes or a paint palette covered in hard candies), fades away, leaving only a blank canvas in a wooden frame.

Paintra picks up her painting. Seeing that the background has vanished, she looks concerned for a moment, before shrugging it off and sliding it under her left arm. "So, Secta Knight. Tell me a bit about yourself while nothing's really going on. I can tell you about myself first, if you'd prefer that."

"He's gearing up for war."

"Well, there isn't much to say, really. Was made. Lost my memory. Went on an adventure. Beat up a god or two, somewhere in there. You?"

"Oh, um... My two sisters and I were once a single painting, but then a weird thing happened and we were split into three paintings! Then, the magic of the brush that painted us brought us to life! That was fun, but... I ended up separated from my sisters soon after that. I don't know what happened to them. I found some weird floating island, and that's where I found out about my favorite thing ever - sugar!"

"Life was good, if a little lonely... until a spider mage came along and told me how a certain pink puffball had mangled my big sis, Drawcia!" Technicolor tears start welling up in Paintra's eyes. "Then that puffball pummeled me just as bad when I tried to fight him! When I woke up from that, I was here, and I have the worst feeling little sis Vividria didn't escape the same fate..." She is actually crying now.
