"Fair enough, then. So, as I was saying, perhaps a demonstration would explain it better."

Jules then pulls out from her coat what looks like some kind of oversized high-tech belt buckle, and a small bottle-looking trinket...

"Generally's it's polite to knock," a female voice said from the room behind Vibril, "I wasn't expecting any visitors today, or any day."

A young woman in casual clothes sat at a table, one hand holding a book open on it while she watched him with a bemused expression. A small active lamp also sat on the table, which she was probably using to read before the intrusion.

"Can I help you?"

The caped man sighs with relief as he sends another message.

[Do not worry. I always respect the privacy of my acquaintances.]

He gestures to the others in the inn as he returns to his Rebel Relaxation pose.

"Gem hair guy's just kinda uncomfortable at the moment. Nothing too big."

Meanwhile, he looks at Jules, and asks with some interest.

"Heh, show me."

He of course ponders to himself.

(Yeah, I know what's probably gonna happen.)

"Hmmph. I can respect the need for privacy."

He walks back into the inn and turns to look at Jules.

"Wait, humans can perform magic now? I don't remember ever seeing that."

Vibril is about to respond to the caped guy... and then someone speaks up from within the house.

And the poor guy ends up falling over, landing on his bottom with a yell, now as white as paper.

"O-o... I'm so sorry... uhh..."

He awkwardly looks around, completely pale, nervous, and apologetic.

"S-sorry... umm... should I leave?"

"Is that... a belt buckle? It looks more advanced than any I've seen before."

Severus looks at Jules' trinket, then back to the belt buckle.

"Now then, let's see this demonstration of yours, Jules."

He glances at Asura and nods.

"Indeed."

The woman started when he fell, leaving her book on the table and moving over to him,

"Jeepers creepers, I didn't mean to scare you like that. You don't have to, I'm more curious why you came in here to begin with," she said as she extended a hand to help him up.

"I just... kind of tried to get away from a crowd."

Beat. Vibril looks completely uncertain, rubbing the back of his head and sighing, though he just stands up, giving Sam a nervous smile.

"I don't like too many people."

"Looks like a piece of tech, but not quite."

She then puts the buckle on, which forms a full belt around her waist, then puts the bottle into the buckle and pulls on a handle on the right side of the buckle.

"Chaksou!"

A bunch of blue mist rapidly races out of the belt and covers Jules' entire body...before freezing into a crystal around her, that shatters only a few seconds later. And with that, Jules' entire appearance has changed. Her face looks the same, but her hair is a lighter blonde, she's got a tinted visor covering her eyes, and she's wearing some mecha-looking armor all across her body, in the same colors as her normal outfit. Parts of the suit also seem to look like vents with small crystal shards sticking out of them.

"Fair enough. I don't mind if you stay in here for a bit if you want to stay out of the crowd," she shrugged and gestured towards the table, "I'm not too much a fan of crowds myself, they give me a headache."

"Impressive for a human."

The cape hair person does a sincere applause with a smile.

"Well, that's amazing! So, what kind of powers does the form have?"

"...I guess I can just stick around in here."

Vibril shrugs, looking at the table and inspecting him, and the light from the lamp makes his hair shimmer eerily. Sam might want to comment on that crystalline hair.

"I'm Vibril, by the way. Sorry for disturbing you."

"Samantha, and it's no problem," she said, walking back to her chair and sitting down, "wasn't doing anything important anyway, reading can always wait."

As if to indicate the point of her words, she quickly checks what page she's on and closes her book, pushing it to the side, "I've never met someone with crystalline hair before."

"Well... I do believe the difference between magical girls and regular mages are becoming clear to me. Your transformation was quite impressive, I might add."

Vibril just stands nearby and nods at Samantha when she emphasises her point of not really seeing an importance to reading, awkwardly looking around the area.

Then, when his hair is mentioned, he holds up his hand, self-consciously checking his 'hair'.

"Yeah. I guess my kind is pretty rare. Other than that, nothing is too notable about my hair, or myself in general."

...Well, besides the fact that there seems to be an aura of energy faintly radiating from the man.

"Thanks. I'm what's known as a Princess. We defend the world against the all-consuming darkness. My calling is that of a Seeker, and I am of the Court of Diamonds. Not all of us look this high-tech though, it's just the motif I decided to go with. As for powers, well, I've got my Charms."

"Hmm..." Sam nods, "You can sit down if you want, y'know, there are more chairs and I don't bite. You said people like you are rare, even where you come from?"

The caped guy nods as he now appears to teleport to an empty chair and sit down on it.

"That sounds like a noble job indeed, fighting against a threat to the world. Charms, huh? Would def be interested to know."

He then explains what he does... in an obviously trolling tone and obvious smirk.

"As for I? I kill things."

It's fairly obvious that he's trolling.

"Nah, just kidding, I do lots of stuff really."

"All-consuming darkness, you say?"

"Yes...a corrupting force of pure evil incarnate. I defend the world from the forces of Darkness that threaten to consume everything."

Asura remains silent, lost in thought. He looks up at the mention of the darkness.

"Are you talking about the Gohma? I thought I killed all of those things. Maybe some of them escaped."

The caped man chuckles as he crosses his leg, as his capehair waves a bit.

"Heh, those things sound like something I might want to fight. It'll be fun."

(Wonder how easy or tough those would be...)

"Hmm... I imagine Malkoran would have joined forces with it in a heartbeat."

Before anyone can ask who the hell Malkoran is, Severus raises a finger.

"He was a powerful dark mage from my world, and one who was convinced that it would only be safe from danger if he were to rule it. And before anyone asks, no, he won't be terrorizing this realm any time soon on account of him being dead."

"Well I suppose it's good he's dead then. Can't say I've heard of these Gohma before. Could you describe them to me?"
