Well...that was bittersweet...
And of course, next week is Ray and Nora's last episode...

A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Yeah. Bet Sarah never thought she'd be trying to stop Damien Dahrk from killing himself, but there you go.
At least they haven't forgotten he killed Laurel...even if the Crisis has kinda done away with that due to Earth 2 Laurel still being around.
In fact, how do they reconcile that particular incident with how things went in the Post Crisis world?
One Strip! One Strip!Doesn't matter; Sara still remembers what Damien did, so her feelings never went away. She was completely justified in not taking his hand, and Damien understood that.
Lot of complicated feelings right now.

For some reason, I was expecting Mick to have a son, not a daughter.
I liked it better when Questionable Casting was called WTH Casting AgencyMan, Damien has become such an awesome character since he came to the show. Really sad to see him go again so soon.
Great wedding. Sucks that the two will be leaving next ep....

Hard to believe this is the same dude who was planning to nuke a city back in Arrow.
But then again, Season 4 was just a bad trip for everyone.
One Strip! One Strip!Neal McDonough made the most of his special appearance on the last episode.
I liked it better when Questionable Casting was called WTH Casting AgencyYet another character that's just way better on Legends. The episode also shows just how much fun Nora's character is now vs the mess before (I often felt they didn't quite know what to do with her at first).
I kind of wish Ray, Nora and Darkh were staying around on the show. The idea of Tastes Like Diabetes heroes whose Rogues Gallery includes their amiable, goofball megalomaniac father/father-in-law sounds wonderful.
I keep imagining, like, them interrupting a massive, full-scale battle to share baby pictures or something.

And I love Gary the Unspeakable Train Abomination.
And Ray and Nora need to stay. Yes, they can be off the ship and still be on the show — it seems like half this season has been spent at Constantine's house, so spending time with the Palmer-Darhks should be fine, too.

Brandon Routh is leaving the show, so that sounds unlikely. And he's taking his hot wife with him.
Apparently though its because the showrunners literally can't afford him anymore.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Which is a shame. Ray was the heart and soul of the show.
Certified: 48.0% West Asian, 6.5% South Asian, 15.8% North/West European, 15.7% English, 7.4% Balkan, 6.6% ScandinavianYea, it really isn't going to be the same show without him.
It also means that Sara and Mick are the only ones left of the original lineup...
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does. And I'd be fine with less Ray and Nora as long as they were still there.

I've taken note of that as well. Snart, the Hawks (who nobody liked anyway) both halves of firestorm, Rip, and now Ray.
I feel like eventually, Sarah will be the only one left since Legends is practically her show anyway.
One Strip! One Strip! And don't forget Gideon ;)
Certified: 48.0% West Asian, 6.5% South Asian, 15.8% North/West European, 15.7% English, 7.4% Balkan, 6.6% ScandinavianI have mixed feelings about the Hawks, but at very least I want to see Kendra again. They could use the new timeline to revamp her character.
‘My ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.’I know, that's why I said its because they can no longer afford to have him.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.So here's Ray and Nora's Swan song.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Double post:
So, two thoughts:
1) Do you guys think Ryan Choi will take Ray's place as the Atom?
2) When do we think Booster Gold will join the team?
One Strip! One Strip!Think a Beetle is in the horizon?
Wake me up at your own risk.It would have to be Ted.
As much as we all like Jaime, that's not the Beetle who's Booster's long time buddy...
Then again, Ray was kinda meant to be Ted, and his friendship with Nate kind has some Blue and Gold nods (two idiots who're also heroes, one wearing a powered suit).
I admit, that's a lot of stretches though.
Edit: And so it goes. And so he goes.
I like how they had even Gideon say goodbye to him. As someone else pointed out, she's also been there since the beginning, even if it's easy to forget. Again, now it's just Sarah, Mick and Gideon for the OG Legends.
....For those of you who remember how I used to feel about Ray, you might be surprised to read this from me, but:
C'est La Vie Ray Palmer. Live a good life, and try not to be super speed shanked by Eobard Thawne.
Let me say this: when this show reaches it's finale, I want them to see about bringing back everyone somehow: Snart, the hawks, Jax and Stein as Firestorm, Amaya, Wally (even if his tenure with the group was super short) and of course, Rip.
One last hurrah with the entire gang.

One Strip! One Strip!
Ooh, Eclipso would be awesome.
Though come to think of it, a plot with him would look a lot like Neron’s plot last season. TBH, I’d even say Eclipso fits that plot better than Neron did.
