This may be an unpopular opinion, but the fact that there are so many Spider-men makes me lower the Hype, instead of increasing it.

Being that they will surely suffer from the conservation of Ninjutsu and will die in 5 seconds killed by the big Bad, as if they were simple red shirts.

Expectation: A Badass Army that needs an equally large army of villains to face.

Potential reality: Conservation of Ninjutsu and Red Shirt Army.

From what we've seen, I'm somewhat expecting internecine conflict: Spider-Men vs. Spider-Men.

yeah I'm a bit worried that the next movie will be overbloated cast wise. I mean I feel like given how good spiderverse was, I'm more optimistic that these writers can pull it off, but it still seems like it's a lot to juggle.

Outside of Miles, Gwen, and Miguel I’m expecting everyone else to be supporting roles and cameos. I think Peter B, Jessica Drew, and whoever be teaming with them will have about the same amount of screen time as Noir, Ham, and Peni from the first

Her name is Spider-Byte. She was also on the official poster, but with her helmet on. She was next to Spider-Punk and above Spider-Gwen.

There are reports the movie went through a bit of Development Hell with Lord and Miller cutting out and rewriting a lot of the movie, which led to a budget increase.

Yeah I saw that article. I’m crossing my fingers but I’m also wondering how reliable a source that podcaster is.

There were several pushbacks on the release dates in 2022, I assume that had something to do with the production upheavals.

Please don't let the first movie be a fluke success...

Uh I mean. I guess my only worry is now they have way more characters it might be an issue giving everyone their due. But I have faith that we'll have a good product.

Wasn't that more because WB was milking the LEGO cow a little too often and not pacing themselves with it?

LEGO Movie 2's actually pretty good. Ninjago's just okay, but if you were a fan of the toyline as a kid you might get a kick out of it.

So the concern is whether this movie will be a really overstuffed sequel especially with the massive roster

Also the confirmation that Miles and Gwen will actually be romantic here since an overdrawn romantic plotline can easily drag down any movie

The entire multiverse might implode but Miles and Gwen care more about their nervous fidgeting to each other while Spider-Punk is a romantic-rival to them

Hey, they used the right Earth designation for the MCU.

I wonder if this means we could see other heroes in the Spider-Verse movies someday. Obviously that’ll require Marvel and Sony to work out some kind of deal but it would be cool to see variants of other heroes pop up even as just cameos
