I have the feeling Nintendo's gonna wait to put those on their own online service, but I'd love to be wrong.
Why on Earth would anyone want to play Smash Bros with the VR Toycon?
Ukrainian Red CrossThis brings back nice memories of manipulating the camera in Super Smash Bros. Melee to get a better view of all the stages, Onett particular.
Aside from that though it's as bare bones as I expected.
I think it's mostly intended for spectating matches, like you're actually there in person. Either way, it's a harmless feature as far as I'm concerned.
Except there's a disclaimer saying it doesn't work in online mode.

Gamestop has just added 21 Switch placeholders, likely includes bundles and budget titles.

Remember Citizens Of Earth? That vaguely Earthbound styled indie RPG that was rather buggy? It is not coming to the Switch, as far as I can tell.
The sequel is. A week from Tuesday (the 18th), Citizens Of Space launches.
Will the transhumanist future have catgirls? Does Japan still exist? Well, there is your answer. — UnknownIt was buggy? Shame. I had wanted to buy it, but I don't feel like buying digital games on my U anymore.
Can you play the sequel without having played the original?
I recall the Wii U version being rather crash-prone, which put me off finishing it for good.
As for needing to play the first game to understand the story... no clue, apparently the existence of the sequel came out of nowhere earlier today (BTW, kudos to Sega for keeping it under wraps until it was less than two weeks until release), so details in general are hard to come by.

Talos damn it, Bethesda seems to have a love affair with 'recurrent user spending' as of late (or maybe they always had it, but it was never this in our faces until now)...
Hoping this will have all the content from The Complete Saga, and The Clone Wars would be a nice bonus. I'd not be surprised if they have new or heavily changed levels though. And splitscreen... Surely it will have splitscreen right?
I missed the part where that's my problem.I have a feeling the movies they’ve already covered (with the possible exception of The Force Awakens) are going to be completely remade. And given that the subtitle is “The Skywalker Saga,” and they were very clear about it being Episodes I-IX, don’t expect more than that.
However, I do feel like Rogue One, Solo, TCW, and probably Rebels will end up being DLC (possibly Resistance and The Mandalorian too).
And of course it will have couch co-op (Lego Games don’t really do split screen unless you get too far from each other). That’s sort of the point of these games.
Yeah, co-op is basically certain. But the complete saga didn't split the screen when you move farther away from each other like later Lego games did, so you were pretty at the mercy of the other player for where you could go. I think they first added that in Indiana Jones 2.

I missed the part where that's my problem. The only one I’ve played with another person is Marvel Super Heroes 1, so that’s where my information comes from. :P

Here's a pleasant early morning (for me) surprise: Disgaea 4 Complete+. Wonder if this will be mentioned in the Direct, although we don't have a release date yet, outside of "this fall".

RE: hypothetical Rare Replay on the Switch:
For sure, we should get the Donkey Kong Country trilogy.
