Oh yeah I forgot about her.
I miss Nicole's brute strength style. There's not a lot of women characters that's heavyweigh.
Anyone find it kind of funny that both DOA and DMC have super genius characters named Nico? DOA Nico even wears glasses like DMC Nico.
I think that's kinda of a stretch.
Are there any characters whose fighting styles/gameplay you think could use some refinement?
I'd refine Rachel's fighting style to something more akin to pankration or shoot boxing. Her speed could be upped a little bit and she'd have more versatile combos.
Rachel's fighting style is meant to be modeled after how she uses her hammer in the NG games. I wouldn't want them to lose that completely, though it does need expanding.
Honestly one of my biggest gripes with 6 is how little it changed characters' movelists. Oh and how the moves aren't even named anymore :/
I really like some of the mods used in this game.

Hey, those mods are looking real legit.
I want to buy all DOA 1-4 for for nostalgia reasons (and because I never played 4) but it doesnt look like they are Xbox One compatible so maybe I will buy the 360 instead.

Macron's notesThat was a good read, even though there was a good chunk of what I already knew.
Still no real reason for me to get this game when I'm good with my DOA 5.
EmeryReigns gives his thoughts on DOA 6 and the DOA series in general.

Watching that entire video, there are a few things I disagree with.
The chief among them, I don't believe for a second that DOA was at it's best under Igataki's direction. Maybe some of the storyline, but DOA 5 was when things DOA was being taken more seriously.
Another one I disagree with is how Dimension played out the story. That's a load of BS, Dimension ruined Kasumi's & Ayane's lime in the spotlight by having Hayabusa taking center stage.
I do agree with his opinion about DOA 6 as a whole, but I still believe that's mostly because the developers are just lazy to do anything with the game.
I'm already a broken record about this about but there's still absolutely no reason for me to buy DOA 6 when DOA 5 Last Round fulfilled my needs for the game.
This mod would have made for a really great alternate costume for Ayane.
That looks stupidly good.

Is it really too much to ask for all the characters just to return? There's only 3 of them left.
Youtube video host Emery Reigns has a four minute video on DOA 6 charging players for changing characters' hair color as well as the other issues with the game and what this means for future DOA games.
I am guessing they are never going to put Tag team mode back among other things. The handling of 6 kinda turns me off the idea of another DOA game
Macron's notesI'll say this, DOA could really diversify its roster with other nationalities besides Japan, China, America and a few countries from Europe. Having Rig be Canadian was a nice start.
Hopefully they would add other asian characters that arent Japanese or Chinese in the future. Its kinda jarring since most fighting games include more Asian nationalities

Macron's notesYeah, someone reminded me of Nicole from DOA 4 who is from the Philippines but she never appeared after that game and you wouldn't even know she is Filipina from her looks or her voice.
I mean she is decked out in MJOLNIR battle armor you can't tell anything about her from her looks.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, 6's pair of newcomers are pretty lame. Diego seemed to be an attempt to make Rig's lightning strike twice and Nico doesn't really distinguish herself from the sea of blue-haired waifus we've been drowning in since Rei Ayanami.
Bleye knows Sabers.Yeah, that's my point. The one Asian character in DOA who isn't of Chinese or Japanese origin and she has nothing that makes her nationality obvious to the audience.
Deigo was basically their own take on Miguel from Tekken but with a backstory that wasn't nearly as interesting. As for Nico, I can't get over the fact that she shares her name with a Devil May Cry character and even has a dead father and wears glasses just like her name sake. I also feel like Helena was Right for the Wrong Reasons when she condemned Nico's resurrection research. Nico bringing people back from the dead in and of itself shouldn't be the issue (if there are no negative side effects) but the fact that she decided to bring back Raidou is what was really messed up.
Acually that's TECHNICALLY not true, and when I say technically I mean like by a really obscure technicality. Nicole the Spartan was Fillapina I believe, of course, you never actually see this and it's basically a nonfacator with how she's portrayed.
