It’s an interesting idea!
Watching Invincible finally, getting ideas.
Who'd be down for Superhero shenanigans on a more "real" reconstruction level scale. Realistic damage, big fights that sometimes end in death, but generally saving the day.
Oh, definitely.
I'm also now getting idea for an animesque high school academy of adventure RP focused on a bunch of delinquent gangs in an episodic style.
I like it.
I can do it. For the sake of my master and seonbae…I'd love it
Lover of anime, video games, old-school Rock & Roll music, yaoi, horror, motorcycles, classic cars, trains, and historical fictionI think I might get started on making that then.
Would anyone be interested in a Digimon rp with a twist?, tamers are all character from series outside of Digimon.
Would anyone be interested in my Persona 5 RP?
Would anyone be interested in a spider verse rp? in which everyone makes up their own spidersonas?
Yes.
I can do it. For the sake of my master and seonbae…Huh, a different take on a Digimon rp. Sounds interesting.
Would anyone be interested in a sort of Harry Potter like game, except your acceptance letter reads as follows:
Congratulations and/or condolences! You have been chosen to attend the Ebonezer Vilus's Institute of Learning for Vanquishing Inferior Lower Lifeforms And Insuring Notorious Service (EVIL VILLAINS). While attending, you will be expected to live (for given values of life, depending on your plane of origin and/or previous (un)life choices) on campus. School uniforms, food, and school supplies will be made available at the school. It is advised that students only bring one suitcase of personal items. Attached to this letter you will find a list of currently banned items at the school. Failed attempts to smuggle in any such items may result in your immediate expulsion and/or evisceration. Successful attempts may result in extra credit. We look forward to your attendance at our fine facility, no matter how brief it will be for some of you. Signed, Eboneezer Vilus, Headmaster.
Paranoia - The Most Fun You Can Have With Deadly Lasers!I like the sound of it.
I can do it. For the sake of my master and seonbae…Someone posted to one of my old Maid the RPG game sign up threads, making me wonder: Are enough people here interested in trying to play? Maid the RPG is a very simple RPG system with a kitchen-sink anime setting. Premise will be either a group of people recruited to be a new team of magical girls OR a set of dark magic girls attending the above mentioned 'Ebeneezer Vilus Institute of Learning'. Either PM me or comment in this thread, I'd like at least four players before I launch.
Paranoia - The Most Fun You Can Have With Deadly Lasers!I had an idea for a Fallout RP set in the Appalachian Mountains, BUT it would not include anything from Fallout 76 since this idea was based on a setting that me and some friends came up with several years ago, all the way back in 2015.
The premise is that it would be set in 2292, five years after Fallout 4 and fifteen years after Fallout 3. The setting would incorporate both the entirety of West Virginia but also a large chunk of eastern Kentucky and parts of southwestern Virginia as well.
There's no Scorched or any other nonsense from Fallout 76, though some cryptids such as the Mothman or the Grafton Beast may still appear in the Wastelands as enemies, as well as other creatures such as the Woodbooger (basically an Appalachian Sasquatch)
The setting is called Fallout: Coalfields and it owes a lot of inspiration from New Vegas. In the coalfields of Appalachia, no nukes fell on that fateful day in 2077 and the people reacted differently. Yes, there were mutants and ghouls that came about as well as raider gangs, but it was not as intense as in the Capital Wasteland or elsewhere, and so a new order began to establish itself.
The main factions in the Coalfields are as follows...
- The Union
- The main government of the Coalfields, the Union is directly descended from the United Mine Workers of America, a Pre-War trade union that had a lot of sway in the mountains in the Pre-War era. After society collapsed, the UMWA merged with the remnants of various local governments to become the Union, bringing order and re-opening the mines while establishing steam railroads to improve infrastructure. For many years, the Union has solidified its rule but in recent times, it has grown bloated and corrupt, inciting a rebellion. Basically, they are the NCR Lite.
- The Rebels
- A large rebellion that has now formed a loose confederation of outlaws, rebels, and Robin Hood wannabes. They are tired of the Union's control and wish for a more autonomous regime in the Coalfields where every town or family is in charge of their own destiny, a return to the wild frontiers of old.
- The Emerald Horde
- The end result of a bizarre Vault-Tec experiment. The Emerald Horde originated from the psychological experiments in Vault 40, located in North Carolina. The Vault dwellers were subtly brainwashed into thinking they were like an ancient Celtic barbarian tribe and as the pseudo-tribals made their way out of the vault, they established a kingdom and began to assimilate other tribes, raider gangs, and any remaining survivors from other vaults. They slowly became The Emerald Horde, governed by a High King and a druid council.
- Low-tech for the most part but extremely fierce and known to practice cannibalism, human sacrifice, headhunting, as well as the usual raiding and slaving. With their capital in what was once the city of Greensboro, the Horde marches to the north and to the west, having recently taken the town of Boone and using it as a base of operations to send war parties into the Union territories in the coalfields.
There's also several "prospective factions" that are powerful but not large enough to rule the Coalfields on their own.
- The Brotherhood of Steel
- The Appalachian Brotherhood of Steel is a detachment of the East Coast Brotherhood that was established by Sarah Lyons during her brief stint as Elder. While the main branch of the Brotherhood of Steel governs the Capital Wasteland and is currently occupied with matters in The Commonwealth, the Appalachian Brotherhood of Steel maintains outposts in the towns of Wise, Whitesburg, Grundy, Bluefield, and Princeton. Communication between them and the main branch is limited and they have an agreement with the Union, but one that is on shaky ground
- The Enclave
- After the fall of Adams Air Force Base, the Enclave regrouped and are now primarily in the cities of Chicago, Philadelphia, and Cincinnati with small detachments in the Coalfields and particularly in and around the Greenbrier Resort. Following Augustus Autumn's model of thought, the Enclave no longer wishes to exterminate wastelanders but to rule them and they have an uneasy truce with the Union, one that is less stable than even the agreement with the Brotherhood of Steel. Enclave remnant leaders view the incursions from both the Rebels and the Emerald Horde as a way to re-establish their authority, provided they back the right horse in this race...
- The Fellowship
- A descendant of Pre-War Evangelical Christianity, the Fellowship is a large religion that is predominant among most civilians in the Coalfields, regardless of whether they are with the Union, the Rebels, or are simply unaligned. As such, the elders of the church do not endorse any side and instead try to focus on spiritual matters and helping the community, but getting the official endorsement of The Fellowship would greatly help any of the major factions stabilize control of the Coalfields. The Fellowship will not support the Emerald Horde, but can support the Union, Rebels, or an independent wild card faction.
- The Shinobi
- Mercenaries, spies, and assassins in the vein of the Ninja from Japanese folklore and pop culture. The Shinobi are similar to the Dark Brotherhood from Elder Scrolls but are less Obviously Evil and more in a gray zone when it comes to morality. They dress in black and often use katanas and wakizashi, machetes, darts, crossbows, poisoned weapons, and silenced firearms.
- The Tunnel Snakes
- Stone cold mercenaries in the vein of Greaser Delinquents led by Butch Deloria, a barber from the Capital Wasteland who re-established his gang before being driven out of DC by the growing power of the Brotherhood of Steel. Now they are in the Coalfields and are one of the biggest wild card factions, willing to side with anyone for the right price and the right motives.
- The Family
- A clan of vampires that began in the Capital Wasteland but whose numbers have since grown stronger since relocating to the Coalfields. They are closely allied with both the Tunnel Snakes and the Shinobi.
- The Wildwood Walkers
- A small tribe of primitive raider types who have a mutation that can best be summed up as lycanthropy. While the Family are like vampires, the Walkers are like werewolves.

Lover of anime, video games, old-school Rock & Roll music, yaoi, horror, motorcycles, classic cars, trains, and historical fictionWell I do like fallout.
I can do it. For the sake of my master and seonbae…Awesome. What do you think of my alternate take on Appalachia in the Fallout universe?
Lover of anime, video games, old-school Rock & Roll music, yaoi, horror, motorcycles, classic cars, trains, and historical fictionI like it mate.
I can do it. For the sake of my master and seonbae…The ninjas are an...odd choice and not sure they fit but on the whole I really like it. :)
Hey folks, I belong to the design team behind the new superhero TTRPG, Heroic, and my boss wants to run a monthly game with mid-level heroes, most likely on Mondays or Tuesdays. We need one more player— anyone interested PM me.
Who'd be up for some Forum dnd or Pathfinder 2e set in a desert punk style setting somewhat inspired by Final Fantasy 6?
I'd be on board for that, yeah.
Hope you weren't expecting anything witty here. Maybe some day.
Had an interesting idea for a TV Tropes RP while I was driving home from work today.
My idea is a game set in a sort of collective dream world, where the thoughts, wishes and fears of the collective humanity take form. Humans enter this dream world when sleeping and most humans forget their journey there after waking up. Some powerful dreamers not only manage to remember their dreams but empower their dream selves to harness the dream energy of the world in order to transform themselves, manifest power, or other such things. These would be the signup superpowers of each character, and they would be based on the characters' personality, being, and concerns. Their inner selves, as it were. And the PC dreamers would be those who seek to protect the dream world; there also evil dreamers who wish to wreak havoc, or even worse, force their way of thinking upon others. The worst of these "Dark Dreamers" threaten not only the dreamscape, but the stability of the real world as well.
I can still hail the Horde even though the company has shamed us. Strength and Honor even if Blizzard has neither.
