John's held several positions at Midway and was part of the start-up Vogster Entertainment along with his other roles at Disney and Gearbox. Guy looks all right.

If my memory serves right, his time with Disney Interactive particularly stands out for him and the rest of the staff being extremely transparent about developmental going-ons and what all they had in the pipework. He also interacted with the community regularly from what I've heard other people say.
Seems like a good fit for Nintendo's PR department and he's probably gonna be more at home there than he was at Gearbox, especially if his tweet about taking a "dream job" is anything to go by.

You can google on that subreddit thing, I'm not linking the story due to potential NSFW.
The gist is that Randy tweeted he found a Battleborn porn subreddit and provided a link to it. According to rumors said sub was made minutes after Randy made the tweet, it's probably a very ill-conceived marketing stunt.

We do have a general E3 thread, but the biggest names going to this year's E3 (other than Nintendo) are Ubisoft, Bethesda, Square Enix (all of whom will have a conference and a booth), Microsoft (conference, but not a booth and will be instead at the Microsoft theater nearby), EA (no conference or booth, but EA Play will be offsite nearby), Bandai Namco, THQ Nordic, Warner Brothers, Capcom, Epic, and 2K (booths only).
Thing is, while the conferences start on Saturday and E3 actually starts the Tuesday after next, next week will have a large number of developers getting out info prior to E3. For Nintendo specifically, there's the Pokemon Direct on Wednesday, and there will likely be an announcement at one of the Mario Maker, Smash, and Splatoon events on Saturday.

Overview of the Direct:
New gimmick is Dynamaxing aka Giantification, once per battle, three turn limit
Gyms focus on Dynamaxing.
Raid battles with other players against Dynamaxed Pokemon in the large center area know as Wild Area. Only one person can Dynamax/catch a Dynamaxed Pokemon per raid battle.
Wild Area is also open, has camera control and roaming Pokemon.
Professor is Magnolia who studies Dynamaxing.
Her granddaughter, Sonia, is her assisstant.
Rival is Hop, the younger brother of the current champion, Leon.
Milo is the name of the grass type Gym Leader.
Pokemon:
- Gossifleur (flowering Pokemon) -> Eldegoss (puff Pokemon)
- Corviknight a bird Pokemon with armor, also acts as fast travel.
- Drednaw, the bite Pokemon, kinda looks draconic.
- Wooloo, sheep Pokemon
- Box legendaries are Zacian and Zamazenta, two armored wolves, one with a Sword in its mouth, the other with a shield for a mane.
Launch date: November 15th

Not in the Direct, Pokedex is a Rotom phone.

Aw dammit, just when we were free of Omochao Rotom.
Take with grain of salt, but Nintendo's E3 2019 Direct is expected to be 45 minutes long.
If they want to match Reggie "my body is ready" Fils-Amie, they would pretty much have to do that. Or, like, have him show up with a red mohawk, at least.
