NOTE - Report bugs along with your browser/version, operating system/version, and device. There are thousands of these combinations, and most bugs right now only affect certain combinations.
Tropers - As you are probably well aware by now, we've made a ton of changes to TV Tropes. Although most of the changes you see are primarily cosmetic, we are also part way through a complete overhaul of the backend code. With so many changes under the hood, it is entirely possible we broke a few things. If you find something that does not appear to be working correctly, this is the place to report it.
Please note, this thread is for BUGS only! If you have an idea, wish, or anything to say that is not related to a bug, please do not post it here. Those things can all be posted and discussed on other threads in Wiki Talk or the Tech Wishlist.
The more information you can provide about the bug (e.g., browser, operating system, etc.) and how to re-create it, the more likely we will be able to squash it.
Happy Troping!
EDIT: Here are some things that have been reported:
- Login issues
- Logins not sticking between devices
- Some people are still having issues with dropped logins.
- You can't log in if your username contains a space. Remove the space.
- Javascript: Your device must be able to run Javascript from tvtropes.org, static.tvtropes.org, ajax.googleapis.com, and netdna.bootstrapcdn.com. If you are blocking any of these, lots of things won't work, like editing pages.

It seems that I can't upload photos. The error says that it can't connect to the remote server. I'm using Chrome version 40.0.2214.94 on Windows XP SP 3.
Still the best 71I'm having the same problem.
We are working on the image uploader right now.
I now understand your avatar. xD
what do you mean I didn't win, I ate more wet t-shirts than anyone elseWhat does it mean when the image uploader says remote server, is the server on tvtropes or 3rd party?
Still the best 71Now the image uploader is working, neat.
Still the best 71The query sections (Ask The Tropers, Lost And Found, and You Know That Show) are wrapping in the middle of words and between words and punctuation (e.g. "exis" shows up on one line and "t" shows up on the next, or a question mark starts the line after a question), at least on the mobile version. I'm using Chrome.
About a third of the Index Index (everything after P) has simply ceased to exist. Since it's been my default method for finding tropes for several years now, this is a pretty huge problem.
Browser is Firefox 35.0.1, OS is Windows 7.
Same here. Chrome 40.0.2214.111 m, Windows 7
Bigotry in the name of inclusion is still bigotry. Not sure if this is a bug or an oversight, but...
While the new arrangement of separate buttons for editing tools is nice, the "Source Code" option seems to be missing. Chrome 40.0.2214.111 m, Windows 7
Bigotry in the name of inclusion is still bigotry. At least for me, best episode crowners are only displaying the top episodes and not any of the ones below. Even when I press the button that says to show the others with lower scores.
Can anybody else not log in due to the fact that the captcha doesn't work?
I don't know if I'm alone in this.
"They say I'm old fashioned, and live in the past, but sometimes I think progress progresses too fast."and are happening for me as well, latest Chrome on Windows 8.1.
Any non-Sugar Wiki page has this ugly gray screen◊ at first.
The Protomen enhanced my life. The crowners seem to be messed up.
So I've been messing around with userstyling, and figured out how to fix the second level header markup by poking around the old CSS rules for <h2> and the current rules for <h3>. See the rules here for ".forumreplybody h2".

Am I the only one for whom build-in site search does not always work? Firefox 31.3, Gentoo Linux. In Chromium it works, but search loads slowly. Faster to google directly...
Search is running a lot slower than it used to, also I can cancel loading the page about halfway through how long it takes to load on its own and I still get the search results. I'm on Windows 8 and using Chrome.
Had to create a new account, since login refused to accept my old handle AND password, And my E-mail apparently isn't recognised. My old handle is Wise One 007, and I contributed to the Kickstarter with £500 (so I should have an ad free account). :(
^No IP address overlap, though.
Also, something I said elsewhere, but the page type audit is only showing pages created on this day. Even assuming it's a good idea at all, I've been using it as a new page list (since the other ones likewise only display pages created on the day you are looking at them, making them useless for people who don't check at midnight server time) and until this gets implemented I need it to cover several days.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI'm having some really strange bugs. If I go to mobile the text is unreadably big and zoomed in on. I've tried changing the font size and trying to zoom out but nothing changes. When I go to desktop, I start out zoomed in, but I am able zoom out. However the text is tiny and very difficult to read. If I hit "request desktop site" I'm sent to a blank screen.
I'm using chrome 40.0.2214.109 on a droid ultra.
So apparently this◊ is a thing. This glitch only affects me when I use my Version 6 iPad.

Peace is the only battle worth waging.Something I just noticed - the Google search looks both at the normal site and the beta site.
