I love how Iron Might looks like a metallic version of Dark Deku, it really shows that Izuku also influenced All Might in the long run.

Maybe Nejire getting a spotlight would've made her more memorable, Hori.

New chapter: Deku successfully is able to get through to Tenko by intervening in his memories to prevent the deaths of his family... buuuuuuuut this causes the AFO vestige to come back, and it turns the giant nasty wad of hands into a giant nasty AFO head. Eh, would've preferred the philosophical confrontation to have been the final "boss" but I guess we need something big and nasty to beat up?

Well shit, the old cockroach is not only back but it looks like he not only gave Shiggy his quirk but set up literally everything about his backstory, even including the house his family moved to.

I dont like this, I dont like this at all.

The Giant Nasty AFO Head reminds me of the D-Reaper. That's all I have to say about it for now.

Yeah, "Decay" is definitely not Tenko's quirk if AFO's vestige can manifest despite having the one connected to "All For One" shattered by Tenko already.

Also, now I am horrified over this new prospect of "All For One" since if there is a AFO-vestige in every quirk AFO gives out, then does that mean there is a slumbering AFO-vestige residing within Aoyama as well?

And there it is. Though honestly, Horikoshi spoiled for himself that this wasn't the true final battle, since we still have two more fights to see resolve (Ojiro, Sato, and Sero vs Gashly and Aizawa and Yamada vs Kurogiri), and there's no way Deku vs Shigaraki resolves before those do. This seems like a good midway point of the fight to cut away and show those battles resolve before we cut back to Deku.

Actually, wait. The AFO Head is still just in Tenko's mind, I think. So the ball of fingers didn't turn into it, my bad.

TBH I've come to think those might be offscreen'd just in the interest of Hori's health.

I doubt that. We literally just saw our first glimpse of the Gashly fight. If he was going to off-screen it and cut to a resolution, that would have been the time to do it. Instead, he showed us the fight still raging.

Le sigh. So not only does it look like Decay was originally All For One's Quirk, but he also seems to be the reason Kotaro turned into an abusive asshole. Probably the one who told him about Nana's reason for leaving, or rather a distorted version to manipulate him, and poisoned his mind into hating heroes. Old nutsack face planned everything... which means the original idea of Tomura being someone who just fell through the cracks of society and was forced into being evil from a combination of bad luck and abuse is now tainted by the fact it was all planned by a literal demon king wannabe.

I'm so tired of AFO ruining everything he touches, both In-Universe and from a meta perspective.

I'm seeing how this plays out.

Even if that turns out to be the case, Tomura may decide it doesn't matter and continue on the path he's chosen: to be a hero for the villains. This one is risky. We've all known there was a possibility that AFO had more to do with things than we'd have liked, but were hoping he wasn't. That being said, the Dabi reveal shows that, even if things turn out how we expect, there can still be some twists over it. I'm going to give Horokishi the benefit of the doubt on this, at least until it's all done.

I did like that dekus talk no jutsu didnt work all the way, yeah you helped shiggy deal with his trauma but he still wants to be the hero to the villains of the world like his friends. which is why I'm not so certain that even afo revealing he groomed shiggy more than he already knew he did will matter too much. unless he was the guy who twice hit on his motorcycle/did everything to mess up the leagues lives. but we know he didnt do it for dabi or toga so...

I would like to point out how the memory mentions if he Tenko had seen a good doctor, and remind people that AFO's doctor was also Midorya's, so its very likely Deku being quirkless could also be AFO's fault. Some might consider this Hijacked by Ganon but the foreshadowing has been there for years, so I'm fine with AFO being this giant conspiracy boogeyman

Everyone else already said my complaints about the AFO/Kotaro stuff so I’ll just say that I at least liked the part where Shigaraki rejected Deku and said that he needs to be a hero to the villains.

I wouldn’t be surprise if Kotaro asks AFO to give Tenko a quirk so he’d be “normal” and AFO did what he does best.

If not that then it will be Kotaro asking him to replace his sons quirk so he can’t be a hero, and he makes sure Kotaro gets why he wanted…..
