her first incident was a large scale attack with bombs that caused severe damage to the infrastructure and was seen to be laughing doing so, so they cant use an accident as an excuae. Every single shred looka like an outright villain attack that could have cost lives

Yea uh that's why i warned about spoilers being out and them being rather big so early. The only way to guarantee you won't get spoiled is to not visit this thread, or any MHA related thread on another forum. Until the chapter is out, that is.

The latest episode adapted the three talk-heavy chapters. So the next (and last) episode is going to cover basically the whole fight.
The question is where will it end, because there's a couple talk-heavy episodes at the end of the arc, too.
Yeah I'm questioning what's the good resolution point here.
Cause even if the fight ends at the halfway point there's Dabi's entrance, Hawks talking to Dabi, & final the emotional finale of the arc being Endeavor's talk with the kids.
I don't think they are gonna rush this so it may end before at least one of those talks & we'll get it next season.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."So why did Hawks save Twice from being barbecued if he wanted to kill him anyway?
Reflex, maybe? Or maybe at that point he thought he could still get him to surrender.
I could buy reflex given he was seconds away from stabbing him previously.
Taking advantage of another opportunity to draw Mirko.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."how do you put up spoilers
"[[spoiler:put the Text you want covered here]]"
Exactly how I have it typed.

Get rid of the spaces between the brackets and the first/last words of the sentence. And get rid of the quotes.

Adventurers: homeless people who steal from tombs and kill things. You gotta remove the quote marks, pal.
Wake me up at your own risk.Huh, that looks right... I don't know why it's not coding properly.
Let me see.
I dont get people saying hawks is acting like a villain or people who go you say the league is irredeemable for killing people hawks just killed twice how are the situations similar etc
Works for me...Don't know why it's not spoilering out for you.
At this point I'd delete it, then try to repost it the proper way in a new post. Might solve the issue.

(how do I delete posts
~sdsaa Just edit it, delete all of the words, and save the post again.
Adventurers: homeless people who steal from tombs and kill things. You can't necessarily delete the point, but if you go to the little circle icon (with the ellipsis') in corner of your posts, you get an option to edit a post.
Just either delete what you wrote, or edit it to properly be in spoilers.
One Strip! One Strip!I mean, to be fair, a lot of it is in the framing. Hawks isn’t exactly being portrayed in a positive light here, and Twice is not only probably the most sympathetic member of the League, but arguably a more sympathetic character than Hawks (not that Hawks is unsympathetic, his life hasn’t been great either, but I personally think that Twice overall generates more sympathy for me).
I suppose a lot of people view killing someone like Twice as shutting down any efforts to change things so that people like him don’t fall through the cracks of society anymore. Mind you, I’m not saying the League will do that, but if Hawks just kills Twice and then doesn’t do anything with the knowledge he has about how shitty Twice’s life was, then that’s arguable upholding an unjust system by inaction.
How is society supposed to improve if society is not forced to view its own sins?

Oh God! Natural light!Would society even see it as its own sins? That's the root of the issue. Hawks actually approaching Twice, telling him he thinks he's got some redeeming qualities, and wanting to see him rehabilitated after serving his time instead of taking him down immediately is unusual in context.
For the most part, society doesn't see nuance in villains. They're crazy people who need to be stopped, end of story, to most people. The villain arc showing that the villains are starting to bond with one another and exploring more of their backstories, Gentle's Not So Different moments with Deku, and Twice's backstory and rant at Hawks about hero society are isolated incidents involving people who are more sensitive or empathetic than most of their peers. Society as whole is interested in maintaining the status quo and putting villains away to keep people safe.
I think someone brought it up before, but with the PLF out to destroy society as it is now, it'll be an even harder sell to the general public that there are some generally traumatized people in their ranks due to their being rejected by society, and even then, that doesn't excuse the fact that they're all very willing to do terrible shit in the name of their goals.

Adventurers: homeless people who steal from tombs and kill things.I find it hard to be super sympathetic when their backers are AFO and Doctor Moreau
Semi but not super

Forever liveblogging the AvengersThe issue is that some people, implicitly or otherwise, consider it a failure on the Heroes part that they prioritize protecting other people and the world from the League, instead of trying to save them from themselves, a view point I can't agree with. Ideally, this story will end with the world being a better place so stories like, well, all of the League's, are much less common, but that's a different matter from going basically trying to absolve the League of all wrong doing.
Twice is a sympathetic character - he is also an extremely powerful threat who is fully pledged to the destruction of society (or at least willing to go along with it) without a seeming care for how many people will die in the after math. I think people equate "sympathetic" with "good" and, to be frank, someone who has been a part of the things Twice has been, without a hint of remorse or reluctance, is not a good person. That's not saying he (or the rest of the League) couldn't theoretically be reformed, but certain people seem to be looking at him as if he, himself doesn't have to make any changes, and it's all on everyone else. That's not right.
And honestly, I've always felt the idea that Twice was the most likely to make a Heel–Face Turn was kind of a fundamental misunderstanding of his character - because his character is devotion to the League, regardless of what they're doing. I Like Robots said awhile ago that she thinks Twice was the only one in the group to think of them as True Companions and while I vehemently disagree with that assessment, even if it were true, that would just make him les likely to turn, not more.

Isn't that a tad excessive? Labeling her a Villain after one incident? Even Tsukauchi is acting under the idea that she will go to trial. Aren't they aware about Kuin Hachisuka though? Seriously, why are they treating her like a Villain immediately instead of just a criminal? If anything, that seems like it would make things worse since they'll be free to use lethal force on her. And jeez, as if Kazuho's life couldn't get any worse. First deceived by Roku, then forced to be Kuin's new host, then likely lost an eye because of it, and now she's labelled a Villain because of actions out of her control, to the point even her mother thinks she snapped. This is gonna get even worse before it gets better.
