The bident stabbed into the tail's soft area with little resistance, hitting straight through to the bone, causing the beast to screech in pain. The bullets from Skyfire impacted the Grim and dug in deep, drawing blood as opposed to before. The shockworm hissed and spat, flinging spittle every which way as it flailed. It heard something above it. Something small, annoying, and begging to be crushed and eaten. Faster than expected, it leapt up to the ceiling, somehow spinning in mid-air so that when it landed it would latch on...and if Ai didn't move fast, she would be crushed between it and the ceiling.

"Now!"

Ai unhooked from the ceiling. While falling, she sideswiped her blades at the Shockworm's tail.

(Flashback) Workshop C

As Ai stormed out of the room, Glen attempted to wrap his head around what had just happened. Seeing as nothing that made sense to him came to mind, Glen shrugged and got back to work.

Taking Dolores' advice, Glen lunged at the beast and stabbed at the beast's maw with all his might.

The plan was set into motion. Naima focused in on the Shockworm, watching Ai's distraction work perfectly. "Now or never!" Hitting a button her weapon morphed into it's rifle mode, and she trained it on the beast before then pulling the trigger several times, sending a volley of bladed shots out.

SLSH

Yun aimed at the spot where Charisse stabbed the tail earlier, and fired another aura-charged bullet at the wound once the signal was given.

Leo Regina: The opposite of a hot dog?

Dolores's bullets peppered the beast's side, managing to leave sizeable wounds. The beast turned its head a fraction too late for Glen's blade to actually cause the damage it normally would, but it still left the beast gravely wounded.

Belle's blow shattered the ice growth on one of its shoulders, severely weakining it's ice shields.

And with this, it grew enraged. It jumped into the air, completely forgetting about the person on top of it. It seemed like it's memory was incredibly short term when overcome with madness. From the skies, it rained down a flurry of ice spikes at random, before falling back down. It still couldn't see.

Charisse stood firm. Her eyes darted to and fro, looking at her teammates, looking at the shockworm, analyzing the field of battle.

She took her bident firmly in her hands, before resting it gently on her palms. Taking a deep breath, she closed her eyes. A flurry of green motes swarmed around the bident, causing it to be bathed in a gentle green light. The weapon ever so slowly began to turn on its own, along its central axis.

It was ready, the secret move she had thought of just a few moments prior.

After Dinner Duel

"Oooh." Charlotte grinned as she saw what Remus did. It was a brilliant move.

....But the boy was a first year student, and he had much to learn.

The Huntress angled her rapier....and deflected the thrown blade. Straight up, it sliced apart Remus's bullets, the deadly tip ready to impale its owner.

Grimm Studies

As Rufus pried open the thing's mouth, Hope's giant blade hacked at its exposed flesh.....and quite literally tore it in half.

The Feurekiefer gave one last howl and died. Victory.

Yay

"Yay." The flat delivery of this seemingly cheering victory cry seemed a little bit odd. The rotor of the chainsword stopped, its outer part coming to a halt as Hope put the giant zweihander back and began to fold Anima back into its wheelchair form, her face remaining neutral all that time. "Great job, everyone."

After Dinner Duel

Damn she's good... to be expected really... Remus thought as he twisted himself in midair causing the blade to come dangerously close to his face, caught the sword and landed a bit to the left of where he originally planned. However he didn't let up, as the moment he it the ground he turned and slashed from both sides, one sword high, and one sword low.

Fire SCAR

Rufus wrenched open the beast's mouth and then- well, then it died. Rufus gave a stare of blank stupidity before he seemed to realize what was happening. The Stance faded and he backed off.

"R-right! Good job, everyone. Don't eat it."

Grimm Studies

Pius blinked, then he jerked his head around as another thought came to him; this time the thought came from yesterday.

"Hey, Alexia," he said, turning his head towards his partner now that the exams were about over. "I remember you mentioning yesterday that you wanted to speak with me about something. Am I correct?"

After Dinner Duel

Parry. Block. Pivot. Strike. In a few graceful moves, Charlotte managed to evade her opponent's strikes. Now the Huntress was back on the offensive, using the rapier to make an opening and then-!

The dagger was at the young wolf's throat.

"It is over. You have done well, young one."

Grimm Studies

Alexia turned to look at her partner, a slightly guilty smile on her face. "Well, um, yes. I know you are quite busy with your own projects, but.....um...the truth is...I need your help with something."

After Dinner Duel

Remus held steady as the dagger came to his throat. The match had been over like that. "It was a good fight." Remus said as he backed away. He sheathed his swords as he looked at his victorious opponent. "How do you feel about my words now?"

After Duel

Charlotte smirked. "I expect you to honor your words. I think you're a good man. Not many would agree to face me, after all."

Grimm Studies

Alexia sighed. "About my weapons. It's going to be a ling conversation. How about we meet at the workshop later?"

After Duel

Remus smiled at this. "You can count on me Lady Violet." Remus said with surety. "I guess we should go meet up with Lord Violet and Chelsea then. Unless you have anything else you wish to say to me."

Frost

Belle was knocked into the air with the beast as it jumped, she just didn't have the time to hold on, and found herself in the air above it.

Instead of out right panicking she took the opportunity to use gravity to her advantage and come down hard on the other shoulder.

After Duel

"Nothing else. Though, I admit, I would like to see how you improve from here." said Charlotte, walking towards the exit.

Alexia nodded. "Right. That sounds perfect."

At that moment, her scroll rang. The princess looked at the caller id and frowned.

Why woul he call during class?

"It's Pa." she told Pius as she pressed the respond button. "Hello, Pa?"

Outside Duel Room

Remus exited the duel room with Lady and Violet and headed towards Chelsea and her father. "We're done." He said to her.

Ayers let go of the huge beast, relaxing his shoulders and taking a big look at the beast. "Shucky dern, if'n that weren't the most frustrating thing I done fought!" He took his hat off and started fanning himself with his left hand, held up a hand to grasp up to Hope with his right. "Glad to have y'all on the team, Hope, that there y'all did wuz purdy nuff to make a rabbit hug a hounddog!"

As the beast jumped into the air, Lori thought "Uh oh..." She immediately placed the tops of her rifles together in preparation for an aerial attack. They immediately locked together, and the plating spread from the center to form a giant shield. She sat under the shield, still holding on to it, as the beast sent a flurry of ice attacks.

"Guys! We should do something to stop it!"

SLSH

The cuts struck deep as Ai moved past the worm, causing it to lose its balance and fall back to the ground. The bladed shots from Naima stabbed into the beasts hide, the fall helping them push in deeper instead of bouncing off like normal. Yet another Aura bullet, this one piercing right through the beast's hide and soft flesh, and exiting out the other side, causing it to wail in pain as it slammed into the ground, its large bulk keeping it from being able to roll back over.

And the ice shards did stop. Belle's hit smashed open the other shoulder, causing the beast to stop it's icy rain and collapse into a heap on the ground.

The beast struggled to get up, only to realize that two of its legs had been pierced by its own ice spikes. It fired beams of sheer cold out of its mouth, blindly and desperately.

Team SLSH

This was the perfect time.

Charisse jumped high into the air, holding her bident like one would a javelin. As she flew through the air, toward the shockworm, she yelled "SPIRAAAAAAAAALLL-"

With a powerful throw, she launched her bident into the shockworm, releasing the stored effects of her semblance.

"-BREAKEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!"

The Bident rotated at ludicrous speeds, causing the energy-blades of the weapon to distort into a wider but still pointed shape. The weapon plunged into the Shockworm, acting very much like a drill would, if it were puahed through some kind of gelatin.

She hadn't been able to do much this fight, so hopefully this made up for her lack of action.

Post-Fight

Hope felt her hand going up in Ayers' grasp. The brief annoyance went away once she realized that her teammate was simply being happy that the rather troublesome opponent the Feuerkiefer was has been bested. "It's nothing really." She allowed herself a small smile, staring back at him. "Seen and fought worse." Shaking her head she glanced at Grimm's slowly vanishing body...

...and then realized what she had just said, the faint color of her face now disappearing completely. The images followed after, hitting her - like always - like a ton of bricks. The intense grip on the wheelchair lasted only a moment, but an observant enough person would have no problems spotting it.

"Yeah, it was nothing." She repeated herself, fishing her other hand from Ayers' grasp and returning back to the neutral tone and flat expression, staring at the beast just slain.
